      Hi. Thank you for watching 😊
      Wow your groceries sound expensive! We do have some shops which are quite expensive, then we have cheaper ones like Iceland and Aldi. We have to shop around to find the best prices.

    Good haul. I added up as you went through the haul similar cheapest products here in Australia . What you got would be about $250 here. £125. So well done. Very good prices.

      That sounds very expensive! Some food items are expensive here, like pure virgin olive oil, that costs £15.99 for a small bottle. On the whole, if we shop around we can get some good food hauls for not too bad of a price. Thank you for watching 😊

      It's nice just to fill the freezer with bits and pieces, there's always something there when I don't have time to cook. This time of the year me and the girls live on salad and berries so it's easy for the boys to grab something from the freezer.

      Thank you, I'll beable to pronounce them properly now. I keep pronouncing them like the welsh village Laugharne, I don't know why. The £1 pies are excellent value especially as you get two in them. I like their £1 lasagne, they're a decent size for one serving and they taste nice.
      Thank you for watching 😊

    Evening Maria, you got a good shop there, plenty to make meals that don't cost the earth. Most of those ready meals can be filled out by adding a jacket potato and some veggies to make it go further like the war time diet, lots of veggies. Thank you Maria for sharing again, every little helps, see ya soon.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

      I have vegetables in the freezer, but hopefully it won't be too long until the veggies in the garden are ready. My broad beans are about there and I can see the runner beans forming. I love the green vegetables! Thank you for watching. 'See you' tomorrow all being well 😊

      I've only made a few ready made things. I definitely want to try more because it's really useful to beable to get something from the freezer and put it straight into the air fryer. Thank you 😊

      I'll have to come across to your channel as I love to see the different hauls people buy. I'm looking forward to trying the lamb & mint pies as I love that flavour. I tried to get some before, but they were sold out, they seem popular, I'm hoping that's because they taste great. Thank you for watching and subscribing, I really appreciate it 😊

      I don't get the oldies discount online. Our local Iceland is small and doesn't have much choice which is a shame as I could get my discount. My online order comes from a bigger store, so a lot more choice, but I lose out on the discount.

    Hi Maria, you got some good bargains there. The sausage would be handy to go in a bun. The pies and pasties were a good price. They handy for a quick meal now and again if your pushed for time. Unfortunately the only pies i eat are birds eye chicken and veg pies and the only sausage rolls i eat are cooplands or i like the party ones. The mallows looked nice and you martini cans sounded good as well

    • @therichardsonssimpleliving
      @therichardsonssimpleliving  13 дней назад

      Yes I thought they were good for a pound each. The boys like their pies. I want to try the lamb and mint ones and I don't mind cheese slices. I don't really eat sausage rolls, I prefer cheese rolls but like you, normally party ones. I'm hoping I like the martini cans, they sound nice, but I'm used to martini and lemonade as a long drink with ice. I'll let you all know what they're like.

    Hi All them ready meals & that pastry is full of sugar it isn’t good for you. Always best to make your own dinners, so much cheaper & no hidden sugars…
