Aldi food Haul. What's happened to their iceberg lettuce?

Hello and welcome to our channel where today I'm going to show you what I've bought from Aldi. I spent £55.06 but I'm not sure whether it was worth buying the lettuce!

I normally go between Aldi and Tesco. Aldi is closest to me. Thank you for watching 😊

Hi Maria, it's not often i go to my local Aldi as it's a bit farther away than my local Lidl. I mainly shop at Tesco and M&S. The iceberg lettuce was very poor, i had to laugh when you were looking for the country it was grown in, i spotted British just before you did. I used to buy the six pints of milk from Tesco but they've stopped selling that size. I tried Tescos own make weetabix the day and they are really nice, a lot better than weetabix

I couldn't believe I hadn't seen the British sign on the lettuce. I'd been putting off my visit to specsavers, I think I need to make that appointment! 😂 we used to buy the 6 pints from Tesco, but ours don't do them now either. The tesco weetabix is nice, I think it's my favourite one.

Maria , our Aldi went down a bit , but picked up again , depends who is in charge I think , we are getting new one this September its flying up very big , but a bit further away
ok if you have car , lots of us older ones cant walk to the new one .
Do like lots of there things they sell . thank you 🤔

Ours seems a bit bare lately. We have certain things we like to buy in Aldi like toilet roll, crisps, baked beans etc... they are good value. I'm looking forward to having a bigger Aldi to see what else they'll sell, it'll be at least another year yet though. Thank you for watching 😊

Try Lidl Maria, personally I think their veg is fresher than Aldi. X❤

Hello again Maria, quite a good shop there, not easy when everyone eats different meals but you do a good job for them all. My mum taught us kids that if you have some eggs potato's maybe some bacon or ham and some bread in the house you can always make a meal. She and dad were amazing raising six kids on one low wage but we kids didn't know it, always a meal on the table a tiny amount of meat and loads of tatties and veg and she made filling desserts to fill us up, porridge for breakfast and hot cocoa at bedtime.😃👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

@@christinegitsham5268 My mum always said similar and it's quite true. We seemed to have less as a child, but our mother's made lovely and tasty meals. A little could go a long way.

I’ve never been to aldis Maria I live alone since losing my partner and my daughter so I can’t drive I use tescos on line shopping don’t think I could handle the crowds why are the shelves so empty are people still panic buying I agree with you about the lettuces expensive and very small makes you appreciate on line shopping thanks Maria ❤️😊👍🏻

I like tesco and do prefer online. I don't know why the shelves are half empty, I just think it's because they're moving to a bigger shop, even though it's not for another year yet. The lettuces were terrible! There wasn't much fruit and veg there at all. Thank you for watching and listening to me moan about Aldi (I think the heat has got to me 😂)
