Maya, her family and her lawyers have made remarkable inroads to bringing to public attention how chronic pain is misunderstood, ignored and played down by a lot of members of the medical profession and the general public. Maya and her brother are so incredibly brave and spoke so beautifully about their sadly deceased mother. My heart breaks for them all for the loss of Beata but I’m so glad their pain has bought some benefit to other chronic pain sufferers. I wish the whole family nothing but joy and love for the future.
Maya if you, your family and legal team see this, and I hope you do, the ppl in Family Forward Project are so proud of you all. FFP is a foundation in support against CPS corruption and children taken under false accusations I wish I had known this interview took place I would have called in, you became a voice of all of the families that have been failed by the system. Unfortunately CPS is protected under chapter 39 immunity and I pray one day we can all change that because no one should have immunity that has the power to destroy families. Your mom is a hero that did what many of us considered to protect our children, please always know it was 💯 to get you home. I'm sure she is smiling from heaven at the difference y'all are making and the hope you are giving so many families. I admire you all and unfortunately my family has been in your family's shoes but couldn't find a way around chapter 39 and together we must change that immunity has no place in ruining lives. Your family has all of our support and I know one day y'all will be able to make a foundation for the better of protecting families. Much love and prayers I pray this reaches you.
Thank you for sharing this, i followed the trial from Scotland and was appalled at the defense attorney's actions and behavior throughout and the most recent filings are abhorrent. God bless Maya, her entire family and also Greg Anderson and his team for their diligent and outstanding work. ❤
There is clearly no hands on management supervising and reviewing at each and every level. The fact that Sally Smith's track record was to identify 3x more cases than any other practitioner and that each diagnosis was to her financial advantage is appalling.
I’m not sure, but it seems like when your job security is dependent upon finding children who are being “abused” prior to admission to JHACH, you WILL find those children (whether the abuse is true or not).
Considering Pinellas County had 3x more reports than other counties in the state, you would think someone would be asking the question of what the heck is going on here? That team can't be that "good," can they? Is there that many child abusers IN Pinellas County, really??? If their stats aren't in line with the standard norm of the country, shouldn't that be cause to look at what's happening in that county? So many dropped balls at so many levels...
That's the problem with privatized DCF that's no longer a state run department. DCF is now a business in Florida that incentivizes doctors who are paid by the private company running child protection services to remove children they shouldn't. Any business model is to make a profit, so that calls into question hundreds, if not thousands of cases where children were taken from their parents when there was no abuse. Those families spend thousands of dollars trying to get their children back. And the time taking kids away from good parents on Sally Smith's recommendations takes time and manpower from DCF actually working cases where thee is a good reason to remove a child. And sometimes, those children slip through the cracks while DCF is busy taking kids away from loving parents.
Yeah, when your entire job is finding child abuse you start to "have to" find it to justify your job, otherwise what's the point of paying that person's wage, oh, sorry, consultancy fee 🙄
Imagine a “children’s hospital” treating a 10 year old little girl like this. 😢 The poor Kowalski’s went through absolute agony. Mr. Anderson and his team have done an amazing job.
Maya, I’m so proud of u, I have CRPS too and I’m so thankful for all the awareness u brought to this horrible disease. I’m so sorry what JHACH did to u and ur family. I would love to give u, Kyle and ur dad a big hug. I wish u nothing but the best from now on. Thanks again. 💜🧡🧡☮️
This happens all too often - here in the UK too… it’s horrendous. Maya is a very brave young lady - good for her, standing up for what is right😌 so sorry for the tragic, senseless loss of Beata🙏😌
Thank you Maya for being a voice for others that have been treated badly and not believed!!! There are many mystery illnesses and if they can’t find it, it’s all in your head. You are an amazing young lady!! 💕💕
The problem with the risk management caller is that I've seen tons of obvious abuse cases not get the time of day and then they take kids away from loving parents. The system is beyond broken and needs to be shut down.
Maya is a strong and amazing young lady. Sally Smith, Cathy Bedy, Children Services, the state, JHACH and their counsel have put Maya and her family through hell every single day since October 7, 2016. They are appalling. Maya, Kyle and Mr. K can never get Beata back but deserve far more than 261,000,000. Team Maya!🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡
🙋♀️ Thank you for this interview. And hello sweetie Maya. Please know you’re in my thoughts and I wish you nothing but the best in life, much peace to yourself and your family, along with success in the other upcoming case. I’m sorry your having to go through all that again, but based off what little I know, I have confidence you’ll reign supreme. Take care. 🌷
Maya, we love you, we believe you sweetheart. I also have a rare disease called XLH. It’s a metabolic bone disease that causes pain and rickets and bone deformity. When I was a baby my mom was trying to find out what was wrong with me and a doctor at Boston Children’s Hospital accused my mom of not feeding me properly because I had rickets. Well, we later learned that my form of rickets is not a nutritional issue it’s a metabolic issue. My mom never went back to that doctor, but I can see how what happened to you could’ve happened to me. I spent a lot of time in hospital as a kid and I have trauma from all the medical procedures and surgeries. My mom and dad were able to be there for me when I was in the hospital m and it was still terrifying. I can imagine how scary it must have been for you to be all alone and my love and prayers go out to you. I’m so glad you won your case. You deserve every penny. May God bless you and your family today and all the days to come. 🫶🏼💕🙏🏼😇
Maya thanks so much for pushing this all the way to trial. I'm sure it was a great cost physically but it will go a long way to helping pain patients. I'm already hearing of your story helping pain patients being taken more seriously with their providers.
Bless you and your family Maya and Mr Anderson- I have made a few videos mostly short because of the shock I feel regarding the case - trial and defense
More money for Maya with another lawsuit? Why not have the perpetrator arrested instead if it's a true crime. It shows this is about the money for her and her family!
Are you slow or do you just not understand how this works? I'd correct you, and you're silly childish thinking, but it's clear you can't understand how the system works.
Maya, if you read this by chance, and I sure hope you do-I pray for you and your family every single day. Your beautiful Mom is with my Mom. I lost my Mom a little over a year now. Your mother’s name will NEVER be forgotten. Thanks to your Mom, she brought about change. She’s helping other kids now even from heaven. I hope a law is passed called “Beata’s Law”, that helps this never happen again! You are loved and believed, Maya. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas, and a blessed Happy New Year! Pink is my favorite color too! I have a chronic condition called ICS and it’s a painful bladder condition. I’m so sorry you and your family were treated horribly. You are paving the way for others, Maya! We see you, and we care and believe you!You are one strong, amazing young lady! Your Mom is smiling down on you and your brother and father! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷 #teammaya
So proud of Maya and her legal team. They're amazing people and I'm so glad they won. They defense team needs to let go and pay up, but They STILL don't get it!
Just a question. Do you think that being forced to pay 260 million dollars will stop the hospitals and doctors from reporting suspicious injuries and parents?
@@maxbang1813 maybe I didn't express myself correctly. I believe that the hospitals, doctors, nurses in the future will be reluctant to report any abuse or negligence if in doubt out of fear. So many children will be sent home even if there is real abuse going on.
@laurelmiller5717 she is deceased. If you are a person of faith and read the Word, you should know this. It is very clear that those that have passed know nothing. It is as a state of sleep, awaiting His return, in which all will be resurrected, judged and either given new bodies in the eternal Paradise on Earth or be sent to the abyss with eternal separation from the One True & Paradise.
@@hahna77your personal religious views are not helpful or necessary here and serve no purpose. Everyone has their own belief system concerning the afterlife and your opinion is just that: merely an opinion. My opinion is that Beata does in fact know how great her daughter is, just as @laurelmiller5717 stated. By you stating otherwise you just sound contrarian and your opinion serves no purpose to comfort anyone so please keep it to yourself.
what difference does it make what anyones personal belief system is? What I stated is not opinion but Biblical truth, which is gospel, which is fact. There is only one truth in this world and that is the living Word of our Savior & our Creator. All the rest is built on the false pagan religions & beliefs created by the fallen & their followers. They are anti truth. I stated facts, and your saying that serves no purpose. Yet it has great purpose in stopping lies being spread, which confuses the gullible and leads them astray.
@@hahna77 by you feeling the need to spew your personal belief system here you are disrespecting the victim and her family. Your truth is not truth, just opinion. None of us truly know the truth until we get to the other side. Beata knows how great her daughter is. The spirit of this brave, strong woman lives on and I believe she is watching over her daughter. Your beliefs don’t trump mine or anyone else’s.
Maya, You look beautiful. Take care of Yourself, next time I wish to see You Playing The Piano. You are an Amazing 17yr old. You and Your Brother Kyle could be an Example of Excellence for others to follow. God Bless You, Your Brother and Father. Attorney Anderson, My Respects To You as Well.
I was totally blown away by Maya’s piano performance on the ”Take Care of Maya” documentary on Netflix. She is so talented and beautiful. I hope she will do more with her music . She can become a famous musician with her talent. Maya is a wonderful young lady and I’m very proud of her!
#teammaya So many people can relate to Maya and what her family went through either bc of their experience with a rare disease/pain disorder and are ignored or have had a bad experience with dcfs/cps. I can't express how brave and honorable it is that the Kowalski's chose to fight and never gave up on bringing awareness to these issues. With the latest filings from the defense I hope judge Carol finally realizes it's time to at least sanction the defense for their defiance to turn over evidence even after being ordered to do so by Judge Carol and their unprofessional behavior during, and after, trial by making inappropriate remarks to random members of the public and disgusting comments to the family. Their inappropriate behavior continues with their motions against juror 1. As a member of the public who could be called upon to serve on a jury I find their post trial motions troubling. Doxxing a juror when it's a jurors right to remain anonymous, want access to not only the contents of his phone but his wife's as well and then their supplemental motion again wanting access to the jurors phone and Naz-i accusations makes me and I'm sure many many others terrified to serve on a jury if in end the defense isn't happy with the verdict they can attack a juror like they are. Mr. Hunter and his associates I'm sure know it's unethical what they're doing. Putting the juror and his wife's full names and address in their motion is extremely dangerous and not something any future juror would want to happen to them!!
It's absolutely egregious what they are doing. They have ruined their reputation by their actions during the trial and now with these attacks on juror no one. I have absolutely no respect for them. I just learned today that Howard Hunter was the one who orchestrated the order to shelter (falsely imprison Maya) at JHACH. That's despicable. I wonder how much bigger the damages would have been had the jury known that!
I believe Maya and the Kowalskis. Maya is incredibly smart and determined, like her mother. Beata made the trial possible by documenting everything. She was a force and JHACH picked the wrong family to mess with. I wish JHACH would just apologize and settle, but they appear to be hiding something, and their latest ridiculous motions against jurors prove to me that they are. So thankful for Greg Anderson and his family firm. Sending strength and love to these plaintiffs.
Greetings Maya ✨ from Florida 🐬 Thank You 🙏 for Sharing 💕 Your ✨ Pains and Purposes with Us All ❤ May God 🔥 Continue to Bless You ✨ and Your Family 💕 Mightily ❤
Maya i can't imagine being your age & having a whole TEAM of people trying to smear you and your family. FYI there's starting to be Ketamine experimental treatments around the USA... Why was the HOSPITAL/HUNTER involved with CPS? The hospital would just be the shelter. Why did HUNTER TRY TO TAKE MAYA OUT OF STATE??? Hospital is just the reporting agency... Not the PROSECUTOR...
Yes! If there's no consequences for their actions, this will bring push back from future potential jurors. They need consequences brought on from the State Bar's ethics committee.
WE love you Maya!! I recently found out about your case and following it from the Netherlands. I believe your mom gave her live as only option to get you out of the hands of this pure evil hospital system and it's narcissistic soldiers...God the pain they put you and your family through, all on top of the pain you were already we in, this is unimaginable, this is so horrific and sad. I'm lost for words, this hospital and lawers just keep going on victim blaming just for the sake of not willing to compensate, as they of course should! Maya you are a beautiful soul, you have a wonderful family, great lawyers and THE WORLD IS WATCHING! Live in the light, justis for Maya and Beata 🙏❤ #teammaya.
Maya, if you read these comments, I just want to say that you are an amazingly strong girl. I kept thinking throughout the trial how traumatized I would have been being taken away from my entire family and not being able to see my mother. I once was supposed to stay with my great aunt and uncle while my mom was away. She thought my dad would be to busy farming to take care of me. I think I made it rwo days before I cried and asked to go see my dad. I ran to him and latched myself to his leg and wouldn't let go. My dad ended up thanking my great aunt and uncle and told them he'd keep me home. I ended up working with my dad and brother on the farm, which made me feel like "a big girl." I had the best time! I loved my great aunt and uncle, but I missed my family so much. So my heart breaks for you and your family having to go through what you did. I have no doubt that your mom is watching over you in heaven. Her love for you had no bounds. You and your family are in my prayers daily.
I feel so bad that Maya had to go through this, and what they put this family through is disgraceful, and while no amount of money will bring her mother back, its a good thing that the hospital and child protective services was held accountable!!!
Maya and her family should advocate against medical kidnapping and the corrupt hospital system! They have so much influence because the case is highly recognizable. They can help so many other families from dealing with this horror.
My husband has had CRPS for 3 decades following an industrial accident. It is the cruellest disease, an extraordinarily painful disease caused by a dysregulation of the central nervous system but basically an unseen illness. It seems that Johns Hopkins followed Sally Smiths unqualified opinion, and the rest was total abuse, yes, medical kidnapping.
God bless you Maya and your family. You are believed and supported by myself and so many. I pray for Kyle as well. He has been through so much too. I am so happy you gave it to God. Your mom would be so proud. She is your guardian Angel. Greg Anderson you did a great job and thank you for taking the case and fighting so hard.
Hi Maya. I’m so glad you and your family prevailed. I’m so sorry for your loss and your situation. My daughter became ill when she was 11, she had Sydenham Chorea. I was fortunate it was diagnosed however there was no immediate help to treat as it is now rare due to antibiotics with strep. As her mom I fought and refused to hospitalize her, and am glad I did. However we did live in ‘a living hell’ for 100 days plus, and I journaled everything- like your mom. My daughter recovered, she is now 29 and in her PHD for behavior analysis and has used her illness to better her education. I’m sorry for what you went through, I’m glad you are telling your story, and I’m praying for your continued healing. ❤️🩹
Not before time, patients and carers, families, are being heard. For far far too long the authority of those supposed to be more important, knowledgeable have been bowed down to, so so time for common sense to prevail, please.
I have really mixed feelings about this case. I feel she was somewhat used by the adults in her life, maybe rightfully against the hospital, but in a way that has kept her not only in the public eye, but in a way that has inhibited her growth. It's time for her to leave the public eye and heal and live her life. The case has been won.
CRPS is known as the suicide disease because of the unrelenting pain. The pain is worse than cancer pain and produces the highest levels of pain. I believe CRPS is the worst pain. Some go into full remission, some go into partial remission with flare-ups, and some go into partial remission with no flare-ups.
He thinks what John’s Hopkins All Children’s did was BRAVE??? They allowed Dr Smith to go unchecked for two decades. How many pediatric patients have to be on high dose opioids during cancer treatment? What about traumatic injuries from accidents, etc? How many people die from opioids? The Ketamine was working, and the patient wasn’t suffering any adverse
I would like to understand the disease better. Is it possible to have blankets and other items touch your extremities during a flare up without pain? But only have pain if others touch you? Just curious. Thank you.
@@janeen70I suggest you watch the trial. For anyone who has not watched the trial do not believe anything from the defense. What happened to this family was horrific. The jury got this right!
@@nightowlslounge I have not only watched the entire trial, I have read much of what is on the court docket and have done research. None of the doctors (Kirkpatrick, Hanna, Cantu, Chopra) have nearly the credentials and respect of the two I mentioned. You should read their reports.
Stop punishing pain Patients 🧡🥀🌸🤗🌸🥀🧡 Individualized care is vital. This is miracle medicine for millions of people. 🧡🧡🧡🥀🌸🤗🌸🥀🧡🧡🧡
I haven't been able to locate the documentary but can't wait to watch it. I looked into this case as it's relevant to my professional focus and I had a hunch about the underlying cause of Maya's CRPS, which is my maintained impression. I encourage Maya and her family to look into Lyme disease, as this is a very plausible cause of her CRPS- it is a common cause of CRPS. It was clear to me immediately given her presentation of symptomatology that this wasn't psychological, conversion or factitious and of course Munchhausen By Proxy I immediately ruled out. I can see, however, and unfortunately, how her case would become mishandled due to the mere fact that chronic illness and its etiology is very poorly handled and that's because at the helm of medicine such diseases are not well understood. This leaves a vacuum for malpractice to take place and patient-doctor or family-facility contention to occur. It's so sad that medical personnel are so poorly informed at the academic level about the plethora of idiopathic diseases which constitute a high percentage of contemporary disease. It is not uncommon for discrepancy and malpractice to take place given this widespread medical incompetence. The courts made the right decision with the case, and I'm so sorry to Maya and her family for their loss!! I'm so glad to see that raising awareness out of their experience is something they have set out to pursue. That's very noble and a spotlight needs to be shined on the case to help keep the medical establishment in check. It's also neat to see Ketamine has been effective. Of course people need to understand this treatment having been pursued out of necessity, given Maya's severe pain and crippling condition. That doesn't mean it's the final solution, it just may have been the only solution at the time or even to date. Regardless of how she's treating she looks great, very kind and well spoken with the demeanor of a changemaker. Praying for you guys Maya and family, you have a wonderful family and am so sorry for the loss of your mom. She's still with you though I know you guys know. Have happy holidays and I also just wanted to share my impression for whatever it's worth. Glad to see you're doing well, Maya.
“board certified” doesn’t mean jackshit. Morons can be, and are, in their thousands, “board certified,” which means we peasants are supposed to blindly respect them.
Wow. Florida’s “justice system” is disgusting. I hate it. I only had one child bc of it, & bc of the economy & environment. They treated me awful in the hospital after giving birth bc I had marijuana in my system, which I needed bc of the chronic pain I had every day. It was much better than taking Tylenol or something. Luckily my social worker was cool, & they left me alone once they saw our living conditions. Now it’s legal medically, so I doubt they’d be as bad about it. But I really do hate the Justice system here. I pray for no grandchildren-don’t want my daughter going through the state healthcare system & dying from a miscarriage or ectopic pregnancy. But if she ever does have a child, I’ll send her to a birthing center. I would’ve done a birthing center, but I was high risk bc of a severe case of Braxton Hicks for 5&1/2 months. I was essentially having prelabor pains/contractions for almost half a year. I Never want to go through the hospital experience again. Turns out, I didn’t need it. I could’ve delivered at home fine. She came out in maybe 30-40 mins easy-peasy, no pain meds or epidural. I wish I had just had her at home.
The hospital needs to learn this lesson. It is about treating patients with respect, listening to them, and accepting their own scientific limitations. As time goes on medical research increases our knowledge of more complex medical processes. If medical providers do not try to keep up with the evidence, they can and will contribute to harmful outcomes for patients. I co-wrote a book which discussed the unexpected tragic outcomes connected with recording false beliefs as facts in a patient’s medical record. Bless you Maya, and everyone who has suffered in this case.
I still and I always will believe this Hospital saw $$$$$ Dollar signs. And used this poor girl the Netflix Documentary was great. You see it affected the whole family including her brother. Doctor Smith needs to be reassigned to another job not dealing with children. She's (Dr. Smith) been wrong 12 other times? Maya a beautiful young lady that lost her Mother.
What someone in Sally Smith’s position could do to balance protection of the child and the rights of families is to first of all, drop the ego and tunnel vision. Any good doctor understands that they know a very small percentage of information available, and must lean on specialists who laser focused their education to learn everything about a specific specialty. She should have convened a team of specialists who understood Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, AND included the MOTHER because caregivers often are well versed in their child’s diagnoses. Another thing would be to constantly keep your ethics in check. Sally Smith is as corrupt as the day is long. For two decades she ripped families apart and catered to a broken system, even possibly colluding with corrupt for profit foster care companies that thrive off of keeping beds full, with kids removed from their parent’s care. Sally Smith was reportedly treated like gold by prosecutors and family court judges, and NO ONE should be given a magic wand to wave and destroy families. I applaud Maya and her dad and brother. This whole experience must have been a nightmare! I can’t imagine how many families who don’t have the means to fight back were left in ruins only to fade into oblivion, no one being any wiser. That’s why it’s so important to shine light on this.
As someone who has to navigate her own life around CRPS ~ I can not thank Maya & her family enough simply for the awareness they have brought to this horribly painful rare disorder. This brings me hope that through all the people who have now heard the name Complex Regional Pain Syndrome… more studies & research will be done, more answers will be found & less people will have to suffer the way we have. My whole heart goes out to all who are just trying to get through today but… *We Are Warriors 🔥🧡🔥& they really should’ve found an "A" word cuz this disorder is truly pure CRaPS!!* 😏
a ot of people in the trial said that maya was acting, that she was a manipulator... well let me say something, i'm an actor, and honestly? i consider myself to be an ABOVE AVAREGE actor, and i can say quite confortably that no, she wasnt acting... and you know how i know that? simple... is it possible to act as genuine as maya acted on the stand? yes, it is possible, i can do it... HOWEVER, look at maya right now in this intervew, look at the difference, in there she had boddy movments that shown genuinity, but right here, she is stiff as a board and almoust doesnt have facial expressions. there is a clear difference between the way she is behaving in this intervew and the way she behaved on the stand, if she was acting in there, if she was faking, she would be doing the same HERE. so, here, in an intervew, she is, indeed, NERVOUS, because maya is not someone who likes to be in front of cameras, it clearly is not something that is confortable for her, you can see that she is not able to act "natural" in an intervew, which means that the way she was acting naturaly in the stand was only her being herself, different from here, where she kinda "doesnt know" what to do. i'v seen this happened in real life, i'v seen people who were realy genuine and emotive and had lots of expressions, but when you turned a camera in front of them, they couldnt replicate it, maya cannot "replicate" it, she is not a good actress, i can see that she is nervous with being in front of a camera, that is how i know she was telling thr truth than. however, maya, if you do decide in the future to become an actress, dont let this coment i just made stop you, i became an actor instintivaly, but most of the people i know got it from hard work, and if you want to be one, that is something you can do too, i would even be willing to help if you wish to.
I mentioned before the trial was over that if she won, it would be wonderful for them to go on a real family quality time vacation. They deserve a luxurious time away from all of this. I won’t say they deserve it or earned it because that down plays or perverts everything they went thru and the loss of Beata. What I will say is that they NEED it. They need resolve (an escapee) to turn the page of this chapter in their lives. However this is only one chapter in a series of things to come and we continue to see the context of the series.
One thing that Gregory Anderson can be very proud about is his successful characterization of the nurse who washed Maya's clothes for her. He characterized the nurse as being sexually perverse. And can you believe it?! She had the audacity to testify that her motivation was for Maya to have clean clothes, which she was running out of. The nurse wanted Maya to be able to feel good about herself, which everybody knows is a code language for lewd acts. Mr. Anderson must be very pleased that nurses throughout the world will now know that doing kind things for child patients absolutely will not be tolerated. Great accomplishment, Mr. Anderson.
To blame the hospital for her mothers suicide is wrong imo. The hospital may have been a trigger for a preexisting underlying mental disorder, but the only person at fault for a suicide is the person that commited it. Every grief counselor will tell you that. My heart does indeed go out to this family in every way though. Congrats Maya.
Sue the cps/state they should be held accountable for this too. The state needs the same sticker shock that JHACH rightfully got. Florida has done this too many times for it not to be intentional

Bravo!!!
Take care. 🌷
Anne, ❤ 😊 Thank you so much for this interview and respect to the family who've been victimized so terribly from Johns Hopkins and children services.
JUSTICE FINALLY SERVED! ❤ WE ADORE YOU AND YOUR AMAZING LAWYERS ❤
It seems so to me. I guess hospitals and doctors will not be reporting anything in the future out of fear. Is it a curable illness? Is she cured now?
One of the problems I think is that the CPS in that county is a private company so to speak in another word only made money if they had cases. Absurd!
🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

So proud of Maya and her legal team. They're amazing people and I'm so glad they won. They defense team needs to let go and pay up, but They STILL don't get it!
What are you referring to with the legal team?
$260 million was not enough. Our system is failing so many. Our medical commission needs a complete overhaul. -Dr. C
Just a question. Do you think that being forced to pay 260 million dollars will stop the hospitals and doctors from reporting suspicious injuries and parents?
@Marina_-_- I absolutely think that it sends a message and may help put more safeguards in place in the near future.
@@maxbang1813 maybe I didn't express myself correctly. I believe that the hospitals, doctors, nurses in the future will be reluctant to report any abuse or negligence if in doubt out of fear. So many children will be sent home even if there is real abuse going on.
Its so disgusting what the defence is doing to juror #1.
It so sad that Beta will never see what a wonderful young woman Maya has become.
I have faith that Beata knows how great her daughter is.
Your beliefs don’t trump mine or anyone else’s.
So happy they won and have two of the best lawyers I have ever seen! Greg Anderson and Nick Whitney were awesome!!🎉🎉❤❤❤❤
God bless you all! It’s disgusting what they are doing to try and over throw this verdict!!!!!!!!
Maya, You look beautiful. Take care of Yourself, next time I wish to see You Playing The Piano.
You are an Amazing 17yr old.
You and Your Brother Kyle could

I just adore Maya! Thanks for giving them a platform. We love and support the Kowalski family! ❤🎉
After the defences latest filing, I wish the punative award was higher. They are totally unhinged in their attack of Junior no1.
Yes! If there's no consequences for their actions, this will bring push back from future potential jurors. They need consequences brought on from the State Bar's ethics committee.
They are going to destroy single handedly our jury system.
Let’s all pray the judge throws the defense in jail for being so stupid!
@@allabouttheshade Yes for their actions towards juror 1 as well as withholding the Joint Commission immediate jeopardy findings.
Bingo yes they are! Sinking to the lowest level of law. JHACH needs to be shut down!
Happy 18th birthday Maya 🎁🎁
Institutional betrayal occurs when an institution causes harm to an individual who trusts or depends upon that institution.
Oh Maya! My heart breaks for you!! So proud of you for standing up for all of our families!❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏
Fraud. The father has a history of suing multiple people for money and found the right lawyer
Prove it.
The family gives me the creeps.
@@Nannygoat-h8o It's public knowledge...look it up for yourself.
It seems the father and the mother had issues for a long time and the mom apparently had some mental issues.

We LOVE you Maya!!!!
They cannot bring back Maya's mother. This is infuriating.
It is very sad to see a Juror being placed in an Comfortable Situation, for doing their Job.
I love Maya, she is so brave ❤
He thinks what John’s Hopkins All Children’s did was BRAVE??? They allowed Dr Smith to go unchecked for two decades. How many pediatric patients have to be on high dose opioids during cancer treatment? What about traumatic injuries from accidents, etc? How many people die from opioids? The Ketamine was working, and the patient wasn’t suffering any adverse
Amazing they blame the family for the treatment and not the doctors
They blame both but there's nothing they can do about the doctors. That's up to the state to investigate, not the hospitals business.
Maya is inspirational!
I would like to understand the disease better. Is it possible to have blankets and other items touch your extremities during a flare up without pain? But only have pain if others touch you? Just curious. Thank you.
It can come and go in waves. So quite possibly it could present as you've described.
Two of the most highly respected experts in CRPS, Dr. Krane and Dr. Cohen, both concluded that she does not have CRPS.
@@janeen70I suggest you watch the trial. For anyone who has not watched the trial do not believe anything from the defense. What happened to this family was horrific. The jury got this right!

Maya is an incredible young lady. Greg and his team are amazing and got justice for this family.
Mr. Anderson, you did a GREAT job, thank you so much! Love for Maya and her family!
“board certified” doesn’t mean jackshit.
Morons can be, and are, in their thousands, “board certified,” which means we peasants are supposed to blindly respect them.
Excellent job Mr. Anderson. Blessings for Maya and family.
It’s funny (it’s not funny) how preventive maintenance of the human body is an almost completely unexplored modality
Condolences to you mom but DROP THE ACT....
I don't believe she deserves a penny if that settlement.
Who hurt you?
❤❤❤
As someone who has to navigate her own life around CRPS ~ I can not thank Maya & her family enough simply for the awareness they have brought to this horribly painful rare disorder. This brings me hope that through all the people who have now heard the name Complex Regional Pain Syndrome… more studies & research will be done, more answers will be found & less people will have to suffer the way we have. My whole heart goes out to all who are just trying to get through today but… *We Are Warriors 🔥🧡🔥& they really should’ve found an "A" word cuz this disorder is truly pure CRaPS!!* 😏
Maya you are wise beyond your years. I hope you go out and help others.
❤aytt😢😢
a ot of people in the trial said that maya was acting, that she was a manipulator... well let me say something, i'm an actor, and honestly? i consider myself to be an ABOVE AVAREGE actor, and i can say quite confortably that no, she wasnt acting... and you know how i know that? simple...
is it possible to act as genuine as maya acted on the stand? yes, it is possible, i can do it...
Ce genre d'histoire me fait réfléchir sur la nature humaine. 🤔
Anderson.
You totally didn’t listen to all the facts. This was abuse of power. CPS should never be a a company to make money only if they have cases
Don't take this guy's bait. Watch the trial for yourself. What happened to this family was horrific.
John shopkin drop kids hospital *Still* just dont get it
You are entitled to your opinion. I disagree. Taje care.
Sue the cps/state they should be held accountable for this too. The state needs the same sticker shock that JHACH rightfully got. Florida has done this too many times for it not to be intentional
The Kowalski's sued Suncoast (DCF) on Sally Smiths behalf and received $2 5M
Why not make it a billion. Whats wrong with this picture. Grreed is good.
What if it was you or your child who was abused by this horrible hospital?
