Love your heart, Anwar, and how you feel for the main character. Stay strong! Nico and Vinz's messages are always about uplift and perseverance! They always land positive, no matter what they put you through in their songs. And this so different from the messages we get in our own American music industry today.
Appreciate you parsing out what happens at the end of the short film. I was always worried that the hero didn't make it in the fire. But, as you pointed out, and now I finally got it, the picture from the past showed him reunited with his family after successfully making it back through time.
I'll have one more of these Nico and Vinz/Kavar Singh directed videos up my sleeve, and I think you're going to find that these two really know how to put you in touch with some pretty deep emotions. More to follow!
Love your programs, Anwar-you know I do! And love the work you are engaged in. All scenes in this movie shot on site in Oslo, Norway.
At the beginning of the recorded track, you hear first one, then a second rhythm guitar track come in, then a third synthesizer-like sound comes in as a counter-melody. Perfect example of Scandinavian (Norwegian) melody in music, then contrasted with African "style" drumming (basic; no polyrhythms) with the rest of the song. The mixture is explosive with energy!
Love you man for your reaction with these! I find this one quite emotional; "When the Day Comes" is at least its equal in emotional engagement into the song and film.
You can see when our hero character is in the train station, all of the signs are in Norwegian.
You gotta do the other Kavar Singh film now, "When The Day Comes.". Best of the three Kavar Singh films on Nico and Vinz's "Black Star Elephant" album. The other Kavar Singh is Nico and Vinz's "Am I Wrong", the official video with a staggering 619 million views! How many views does it take?-no, wait-you've already answered that question!

Dude-you've got to follow this up with the greatest of their Kavar Singh directed films, "When The Day Comes". Intensely emotional and engaging.
This time machine s**t be tripping me out! That air horn with "20:13" showing on the clock.
I love the part where they show you, in quick sequence, Nikola Tesla and Albert Einstein. What they are telling you about our hero is his unrecognized genius. No one sees him is the existential issue being brought out in this film.
Great program Anwar. Hope you do the other Kavar Singh directed Nico and Vinz official video, "When The Day Comes". You thought this was emotionally engrossing, wait till you see THAT video!

I don't want anyone to misunderstand me before I make this next statement. . .I love Supertramp! But that video to "School" was God-awful! Ruined that song for me!
This here is top shelf example by Kavar Singh and Nico and Vinz on how to produce a meaningful and powerful music video that actually is relevant to and works with the song!
