I've played Bayonetta quite a bit, but he's doing things I have no clue how he's doing, it's awesome :D
Now after playing almost every Devil May Cry and other games of this kind I retried to play Bayonetta yesterday. What should I say, the game throws at you a ton of sick combos, ultraviolent finishes, different trinkets which define a unique playstyle for you and on top of that, there are also apparently multiple weapons to choose from.
All in all the combat makes a lot of fun.
Slowing down time to charge up your super move without leaving yourself open is the most anime thing I've seen a person do in this game and I love it
And this Ladies and Gentlemen, is how Bayonetta is meant to be played!
If she was like this in smash you would hav been considered BLESSED to ever use her

@@Ace-Vincent-Arevalo Honestly, I got into the DMC recently and played the whole series (even the reboot and DMC2), and I REALLY like DMC. In fact, DMC3 & DMC5 are one of my favorite games of all time. Now I've heard about Bayonetta for a long time and I know it's a popular game series. 2 days ago I heard two Bayonetta 2 OSTs called "Tomorrow is mine" & "Moon River" and I really liked them so since I've heard Bayonetta is like DMC and I heard these 2 OSTs I really wanted to play the game. So I actually started Bayonetta 1 yesterday. Now I personally don't like when there are sexual themes in a game, but if there are some in a game I tend to just look past them. I knew Bayonetta had sexual and suggestive themes and the stuff in the cutscenes can be looked past easily. I actually really liked the game! It really plays similarly to DMC. The thing is after I finished the prologue and started mission 1. I couldn't really continue, because (this might sound weird to you) I got really uncomfortable seeing my character get undressed while doing combos 😅. The thing is when I'm playing a game like DMC or Bayonetta I have to look at my character while fighting, so I can't really look past this part. It's really uncomfortable for me honestly and it's kinda sad, because I really like the gameplay & music!!! I really wish if I could continue playing this game, but sadly I can't 😞

This is way better than the let's play I watched, where the guy just kept spamming the same 4 tired moves over and over... (even relied on lollipops too!)
One think I'd love to see in Bayo 3 is a challenge mode where you can set up your own challenges. Your choice of arena (with various effects and objects you can use), how many enemies and of what kinds (chosen or random within a subset), the options of adding multiple bosses. And special fight rules similar to Smash (infinite hp, no damage to enemies except under certain conditions), restricted moves, restricted items...
...Basically similar to Alfheims and Muspelheims, except you set the rules of engagement. It's purely for practice, as you don't actually get anything but leaderboard fodder for it, but it'd still be fun.

these are amazing, but how did you stop the enemy from taking damage? Did you use mods or something? Looking at these combos, most, if not all of them would have already killed the enemies halfway into it.

Yeah unfortunately the game doesn't reward you for stylish combos. Only long and unique combos
used to think this game was inferior to dmc3/4 for MAD combos, but this was fantastic and proved me wrong :)

Could you do a few combo videos for Bayo 1 and 2 (without Umbran Climax or the equivalent) for groups of monsters? Quickly taking out groups efficiently would be nice to see, especially with how amazing you are at these games. Or you could just have a free-for-all and take them all on without worrying about anything but your amazing-looking combos.
Perhaps you could do a Metal gear rising combo video.
Sucks in the second game we don’t have that many weapons like in the first.
I wonder if you could combo in some way in Okami loved that games so much but never tried to see if that was possible before.

@@nok8473 it's kinda sloppy due to the way weapon selecting works, but definitely not impossible.
Certainly more restricted than Bayonetta or DMC, but you might be able to do some cool stuff, especially with mist and bullets.

IK I'm really late but that combo where you set up the durga bomb and did the Tetsuzanko to knock that angel into it was so fucking sweet. Imma have to do that next time I play.
In professional opinion, is the Bayonetta series gameplay wise better than DMC because I have tried multiple times and I just cant get a hold of the combos and moves in DMC. Love the story but what about the gameplay? Does it have something to do with the fact that I played Bayonetta first? Am I just biased about Bayonetta 1 and 2 compared to DMC?
I came in as a biased DMC fan and found that I liked the bayonetta series more than all the DMC games except three and five.
Dante and bayo do have some major control differences between them from my experience.
Dante requires a bit more finesse to pull off this amount of stuff with, like an active skill ceiling, while bayo seems to be designed to make that skill ceiling as breakable as possible from the start of the game.
The answer to your question is basically the design philosophys of the Dev's
Platinum games:-(bayonetta, mgrr) empower their players, their games are fine tuned with better control schemes and amazing animations, over the top action, story, charecters and make the player feel powerfull
Capcom and the dmc dev team:- make skill based games, games with amazing lore and storys with lovable charecters and personalities, world's and skill based gameplay which requires lots of practice(monster hunter, devil may cry)

What's being used to keep the enemies from dying? I've been trying to lab this game and looked all over for trainers, but the only cheats that people seem to care about are the ones that let them beat the game faster

I really need to experiment with the different weapons. I mainly just stick with the Scarborough Fair since it's serviceable enough on its own, but some of these weapons look interesting, especially the laser thing and the werehog claws lol

Both game completely Open World, and the gameplay resembles DMC & Bayonetta. Few Facts you might didn't know, the Combat & Motion Capture team of those 7 different games (DMC4, DMC5, Bayonetta 1, 2, 3, NieR Automata, NieR Replicant) are actually same guys.
Yes, you read it right. Several Guys specialized in Melee Combat Motion Capture has worked in 3 different companies, 7 different games.
No, they're not fired or anything, they're simply allowed to work with different companies at the same time.

Punished Zero no hes using pillow talk which is a secret weapon mode that makes you incredibly weak its a super hard difficulty
