You're welcome :) I would like to know exactly how are you manipulating Umbran Spear to move away from the enemy, if you don't mind explaining. I could never replicate more than once and it was usually by accident.
I like that move, it is like Guard Frying of DMC4 lol. I think you know that the finger's move for pulling out that Umbran Spear is simple: just smashing lock-on. So I guess it is more important to make some conditions which allows these moves. 1. It is needed to prepare certain space enough to do that umbran spear (moving away - type). So if there are any objects that interrupt that move, the technique can't happen. 2. In multiple Umbran Spears, the first one should be done at a little distant place. (It maybe related with "inertia"? Sorry, I don't know it in detail.) I have played bayo2 for a few days. So my guessing may not be worthy of hearing, sorry I can't help you so much in advance ;;

Your choice of arena (with various effects and objects you can use), how many enemies and of what kinds (chosen or random within a subset), the options of adding multiple bosses. And special fight rules similar to Smash (infinite hp, no damage to enemies except under certain conditions), restricted moves, restricted items... ...Basically similar to Alfheims and Muspelheims, except you set the rules of engagement. It's purely for practice, as you don't actually get anything but leaderboard fodder for it, but it'd still be fun.

If you mean right before the final boss, keep shooting. The dodge button is your friend. If you mean the fight on the plane, use weapons with quick combos and dodge whenever you see any tell for an attack.
It's clearly not a straight port as the umbran spear glitch got fixed, in B2 the umbran spear move had trouble tracking enemies so the result is players can use it to teleport all around the targeted enemy as oppose to only teleporting to the enemy this is shown at 4:30 in the video. In the Switch version this glitch is fixed so the umbran spear only teleports you to the enemy making the glitch exclusive to the Wii U version.
I have the first one on PC. I've not played it that much as I'm not amazing at the combos yet and it just makes me sad that I am shit at it :( LoL. I will go back and practice eventually. I can play like nier or transformers though by platinum and be good at them as the combo systems are a lot more basic. just don't have the patience to be top tier with a system as complex as this. it's the entering and dodging at the same time that's hard to get down IMO.
