I love Dr Seth Postell. I have a Tanakh and I correct the translation as he interprets the correct meaning of the words. Remember God is in the Word. If I’m not going to have a correct Understanding of the Word I may and I have missed God’s message. ❤ God led him to us.

This is the first time I've ever listened to this amazing Dr. Postell. I'm in my mid sixties and I have never heard these teachings. It makes so much sense to read the New Testament through Jewish eyes. After all it's written by Jews for a Jewish audience. I am so thankful to find this. Thank you Freedom Bible Church.
Thank you. I love this teaching so much. I have been given a heart for Israel, but I never knew why until I started hear Messianic Minister. I was criticized for resting on the Sabbath and told Christians don't do that, but when you see that Jesus is The God of the old testament as well, I know His word is for me to be obeyed for my health. They say if you follow one law and come under that yoke you have to follow it all and can't eat as a gentile. I haven't found this. I have found that laws given by Moses are different and for a different time. I know Jesus came not only to show us old testiment ten commandments but to teaches us that it is utterly impossible to.keep them without Him, my savior. I don't follow laws or a religion, I have love relation with a Friend and Savior who in His love has asked me to not to kill or even hate. Not to commit adultery or even look with lust or think with lust. These things He asks are for my good because He loves me. So now I am a bacon eating Jewish loving follower of the Most Holiest of all Jews, Jesus.
We already have more than fifty thousand churches and pastors in the world interpreting Bible in their own imagination contradicting each other. Do we need more?

As I was watching I had an epiphany, the passover God gave to the Israelites was given by his grace through their faith in what he said and not by anything they did to earn it. Susan, I hope you will consider this, that the entire Bible except for a tiny fraction of it (a few verses In Ephesians and Colossians) concerns God’s (failed) relationship with Israel, and that NONE of the Old Testament (OT) is to us or about us at all! The kind of Gentiles we (everyone today no matter what label they put on themselves) are would not have been given the time of day by the Jewish people that God chose to be a Father to; and in fact, if you or I had walked into the home of a Jew or into a synagogue back then, it would caused an uproar of the Jews trying to get out of our airspace so as not to even breathe the same air as us, let alone accidentally be touched by us because they considered us to be unclean pigs and not fully human! Even our Lord Jesus Christ was very reluctant to speak to the Gentile woman in Matt 15:24 and only agreed to help her when she made it clear that she knew her place as a Gentile was that of a DOG allowed to eat the crumbs that fell on the floor from Israel’s “table”! Simply put, the OT, the gospels, and Acts and every single thing written during the Acts period and most of Paul’s letters written after Acts ended, do not concern us dirty dog Gentiles at all! I just realized that God was never considered to be our Father, although because we are in Christ by faith, we can approach God as his Father!). I know there were Gentiles in Paul’s Acts churches but they were not the same kind of Gentiles we are because the Greeks were not considered pagans like we would have been! We need to stop even trying to apply what God said and did with his chosen people and with the Greeks that were right there with the Jews in the synagogues that would not have let you and me in! Because Israel LOST her kingdom hope at the end of Acts (and let’s get real - Jesus made several promises to come back with Israel’s kingdom during his followers’ lifetime (Matthew 16:28) but he was a no-show), something big must’ve happened to make him break those promises! For some reason, even really smart people like this guy don’t see that if Israel was going to receive those “many mansions” in their kingdom, it would have come in the first century! After Acts 28, Paul’s letters never mention the kingdom hope of Israel again and he never says that their end time prophecy would be fulfilled sometime far in the future either! He doesn’t even quote from Israel’s scriptures like he did constantly during Acts! Paul & Co. and probably the original apostles were just in a holding pattern after Acts 28 as Israel’s ship went completely down! But that’s when OUR miracle happened and God suddenly made it known to Paul (Acts 28:28 KJV) that a different kind of Gentile (not God-fearing “Greeks”) would hear the gospel and be saved; and he wrote some things to them (and everyone today because we are ALL Gentiles now) and called them/us, “the faithful in Christ Jesus” (Ephesians 1:1 KJV) and told them the good news that now and for the rest of time, anyone that believes in Jesus and his saving work at Calvary will receive the GIFT of eternal life - with no strings attached like Israel’s gospel had (law for Jews/ordinances for Greeks) and that gift (Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV) has been the gift that keeps on giving even today and until Christ “appears” to set up a different kingdom called, the “kingdom of his dear Son,” (Colossians 1:13, 3:4 KJV)! I believe that kingdom on the earth will hold all those that ever had faith in God and what he was doing during their lifetime! Israel’s prophecy was completely canceled when they dared to nationally reject the very Son of God when he came calling on them with a marriage proposal from God himself! The Bride is getting nothing! Because the Bride said, NO! Israel’s loss is our gain but the kingdom will be full of faithful Jews that did try to please God, and millions, maybe billions, of Gentiles that placed their faith in Christ and accepted God’s gift of Ephesians 2:8&9 KJV! And together as you said, we will make the “one new man”!

Thank you for describing Jesus’s sermon on the mount as the depressing death sentence that leaves us desperate for a savior, which He provides for us as He then goes to the cross and is validated by God raising Him to give us His eternal life. For the longest time I knew very little about the Old Testament and believed that the Church replaced Israel. But now am beginning to see how the Lord is yet not done with Israel.
NO replacement! Just a continuation. So glad God let you see this and you believed! Jesus said to the pharisees, you search the scriptures, but the scriptures speak about ME. Not just the prophecies, but in the types and symbols. Which is why John the Baptist pointed to Jesus and said "This is the "lamb" who takes away the sins of the world!" In Hebrews, it says the blood of bulls and goats could never take away sin.

Most Christians DO (as Dr Seth stated) operate as if Christianity is a "new" religion. No! It's the SAME...the same God...just a new chapter. Good Friday, the Lamb of God was sacrificed. The Lamb is the OT sin offering. In the NEW Jesus is the Lamb who became sin for us (2 Cor 5:21). So not new...just a continuation.

God is speaking about Jesus. Doesn't this guy show how much Jesus is a prophet like Moses? Jesus is who God promised through Moses

This theologian is making the case for Catholicism. Praise God! Usually works that way when you dissect the Bible Old/New Testaments and the teachings of Christ himself along with the Church Fathers Historically you come to understand the fullness of the Truth. The Devil hates truth and he hates the Catholic Church and so do many. Go figure. But Jesus himself said “You are Peter (Cephas/Petros- meaning rock in Greek) and upon this rock I will build my Church and not even the gates of Hell will prevail against her” He knew the Church would be attacked but in the end she will prevail. Hallelujah!

Most Christians DO (as Dr Seth stated) operate as if Christianity is a "new" religion. No! It's the SAME...the same God...just a new chapter. Good Friday, the Lamb of God was sacrificed. The Lamb is the OT sin offering. In the NEW Jesus is the Lamb who became sin for us (2 Cor 5:21). So not new...just a continuation.

Sounds good until the end. New creations through Jesus are better because of fear of the Lord wisdom, and the work, no laziness, the work of our faith IS pleasing God because of desire for His meat that the famished need. It comes as natural as chewing.

God is speaking about Jesus. Doesn't this guy show how much Jesus is a prophet like Moses? Jesus is who God promised through Moses

This theologian is making the case for Catholicism. Praise God! Usually works that way when you dissect the Bible Old/New Testaments and the teachings of Christ himself along with the Church Fathers Historically you come to understand the fullness of the Truth. The Devil hates truth and he hates the Catholic Church and so do many. Go figure. But Jesus himself said “You are Peter (Cephas/Petros- meaning rock in Greek) and upon this rock I will build my Church and not even the gates of Hell will prevail against her” He knew the Church would be attacked but in the end she will prevail. Hallelujah!
