I like his offensive arsenal. I know he's known for his defense but he's a true 3&D wing. Got handles, can shoot, and has some underrated finishing skills in the paint.

HE will have a higher FG% from 3...but players like KENNARD and G.ALLEN those are really the great shooters MAVS should have signed, There is a reason why CELTICS could guard LUKA because they could leave the shooters alone...and with really great shooters around LUKA that wouldnt be possible. LAKERS got a better shooter from the DRAFT..
Flight 55 will be missed, but I can see how this guy will do very well in Mavs, hope he will enjoy playing there.

I’m convinced that the Mavs front office told DJJ to take the Clippers deal because Dallas knew they were going to acquire Naji and Klay. Adding Spencer just made them bulletproof. If injuries occur they still have Grimes Hardy and Exum. Tremendously deep talent of offensive and defensive players!

I immediately noticed he can play a little point-forward with his decision making and handle is definitely above average and better than Djj we gone miss the air attack but our offense just became a little more dynamic
I dunno this seems like an immediate upgrade, they're very similar players except Naji looks to have a much more pure jumpshot, better handles, better vision, better passing, better finishing inside. He just doesn't have those insane flight 55 hops
It was DJJ's fault he switched agents from Aaron Turner to Rich Paul this causes friction with The Mavs as they have to wait along with other teams 15 days (which will be July 11) to get signed. He can't officially make an agreement till then and The Mavs weren't willing to wait so they signed Marshall who I think has more upside!
@@TheMavsBlog not taking anything away from Djj but playing with Kryie and Luka got him like this they got him those open 3s. Physical wise Naji is a beast. Sadly that's what DDJ lacked against Boston he had length but got pushed around. Naji gonna get a lot of open shots too and I love his energy.

Offensively it's a given. He's a better shooter and shot creator. He might not be as good defensively but he's definitely a more balanced two-way player.

he did it a lot for the pels. more than you'd think. he guarded steph, kyrie, lebron, etc. all the time. he's super long, smart, and tough. not a great vertical athlete but he's quick for his size
