So freakin' awesome to be able to get a retro design today that's affordable. When Uli struck gold with the Model D... he just went for broke. Very, very smart move. He doubled down and then doubled down again. This is what the market wants... thank you.
had to get this as ive had most of system 100 modules except few, and im impressed with HPF section at end of video.

It's a clone of a vintage synth. Not sure you were aware of their goal. I would have loved a potentiometer for hp cutoff. But i respect their decision to try and make a 1:1 clone. That's what i want.

I've the the Roland System-500, but I still want this. The System-500 is nice, but it's surprising how much it doesn't sound like the 100m. Great work, Behringer!

Filter sounds great. I wish one of those CV attenuators per channel was an attenuverter , but if this is authentic clone I guess I should take this complaint to Roland about 40 - 50 years ago.

Off Topic from Synths: Behringer Thunderbolt Audio Interfaces? Something like a 2U 64 Channel I/O Line Inputs over DB25 over Thunderbolt 3? Going to be needing more digital I/O soon for all these analog synths and drum machines that keep on getting released.

Sounds distorted compared to the original, and raising the resonance doesn’t cut out the low end like the original - which may seem like an “improvement” but that scooping out of the low combined with cutoff modulation is where the famous rubbery/creaminess comes from.
Paul Nolan not remotely like it does on the 100m.
When is Behringer Commodore 64 clone out??????
An 4-voice-polyphonic synth based on the C64 soundchip SID 6581 would be interesting.
Weren’t the guys who designed that Chip the ones who went on to develop the Ensoniq range of synths and keyboards?

The sound is not great here. I don't doubt that it can sound good but it's completely distorted and there is reverb added. I don't know about anyone else but all I want to hear is a few manual sweeps over a clean saw wave at low, mid and high pitches. The rest I can guess for myself.
@WWVWWVVVWVWVV The whole lot sounds badly recorded. The filter sounds fine. A simpler demo with less going on is required to get any good idea of what you can expect from it

Dual is a bit overkill except if you wanted stereo output but usually you use 2 vca for that with one filter

Confused as to where those modulation inputs are normaled. Is 1 cutoff, 2 reso, 3...? And they're attenuators so only positive modulation?
my guess is they all go to the filter frequency and leave the resonance unchanged
altered states seems a bit odd. But then again, because modular 😀

So all three inputs are summed in the mixer and output is two duplicate signals? No way to process stereo with just one side?

Love the module! But when i set the resonance (res) above position 7 theres crazy feedback ..can i somewhere adjust (on the circuit board) the RES slider less hard/soon self-oscilating? in the video at 2 minutes it sound good, and different then the module i bought.

As much as I like to see the release of another Behringer video, I would be happier with the release of the actual item. The back order of TD303's just goes on, god help anyone who thinks they are going to to get a 2600 in the next two years. Oh and the System 55 and the CAT and the Poly D. If you can't supply then you should farm production out to China.

don't think so, they are making a reissue not a new product and the original Roland System 100m modules were double ones (at least for vco, vca, vcf..). It will be something having no "root" in the past so no interest for most potential buyers.

I am really getting frustrated with the behringer game of anouncing stuff they have no intention of shipping for 6 months time or more... I have $1200 saved up...should be enough for 2 go racks and a few modules. but all i get is teasers... I think i will get a korg wavestate while I wait. its the complete opposite I know, completly unintuitive but once i save a patch i can get it back. I really want a good sized modular system but I seem to be getting a years worth of teasers. once behringer start shipping stock levels seem to be good i had no trouble with getting a model d and neutron once i had the cash (and waited months for the realice) so even if I have to wait 8 months after they relice it I should not miss out...
The stuff at NAMM I want from other companies ships around June & that was in January. It just seems worse with behringer because they never stop introducing products since they jumped in the synth game. Love my Neutron & RD-8 though.
