carlin's reaction to the wish is hilarious and so relatable. not many relationships would happen after that, lol but it was meant to be. after a horrible breakup, my first day of junior college, first class of the day, my late husband smiled at me and i gave him a dirty look. petty i know. then he was in my last class that day and knew my friend i was sitting with! i told my mom about it and she said i'd end up marrying him. 11 months later we got married and were married for 32 years before death did us part

My grandfather did the handprints in cement when we were kids in 1953. They were still there after we moved in 1962. I miss those!👍🥰💜

Boss baby was a brilliant idea! My grandkids love the show. I can't count how many times I've watched ot with them.
Oh I am so excited for you and the kiddos with the back yard. I understand the not driving thing. I was diagnosed with a vertigo issue a few years ago and I can not drive far at all. My son had to move closer to us to help me because my husband is a paraplegic and can not drive either for that and other reasons. It is sad but at least I can look around and see all the scenery when we travel. A positive to every negative.

So I’m watching old episodes of Bringing up Bates about Michaels wedding and honeymoon. You cracked me up Carlin talking about the zipline your dad built and how Michael went splat and whoopsie. I have laughed for like 10 solid minutes😂😂😂

Carlin I don't understand the pain of giving up your first earned pride and joy you bought on your own. However, I do understand not hang onto it at this time. Money for insurance and all alone when you are not using it. But the joy of passing it on to someone who could use it.

May I suggest you make a back corner just for Izzy to use as a "comfort station". You train her to go to that area at first by taking her there each time saying "get in the back". Eventually you'll just have to say get in the back and she'll automatically go there. That way the kids won't have to worry about stepping in something. It has worked in our family for every dog we've owned.
That’s a good suggestion… then the kids can run freely and not track dog poo on the house . 👌🏽
That is a great idea, and I am just now after 6 yrs started thinking about making a “puppy patch”. I get tired of looking out. He does go In Same area for most part, but still. I’m gonna. Make it look all nice too. Luckily my dog trains easily.
Or they could just clean up the dog shit like normal people do! 😛

Along with many thousands of others, I remember that episode of Bringing Up Bates when Evan asked Carlin to court.
It was such a sweet episode because Carlin was my favorite Bates.
I also really liked the episode when Carlin visited the Stewart family and Evan's unbelievably sweet family. The beautiful song they sang together and the lasagne dinner they all shared. ❤️
Evan, you seem more mature today and less comedic than usual...it suits you well! 🤗

I feel your angst, Carlin. Because my poor health has made me housebound and recliner/bedbound for the past 9 years, I haven't driven for 9 years. We're down to one car, too. It was an old car that we were not going to be able to get much for, so we gave it to a nice, young family who were down to one car after one of their cars died for good. Giving them the car was a good emotional experience for us and for them. They couldn't believe they were being given such a blessing. We felt so blessed that we could do it. Being that there are still no treatments nor a cure for ME/CFS and Long-Covid on top of it, it doesn't look promising that I will ever improve anyway. It would really take a HUGE miracle.
Prayers for you, I have had dizziness and balance issues, spend 80 percent of my day in bed. I have seen a lot of drs, er’s, had test after test and they can’t find a diagnosis or treatment. I basically have no life. I would not wish this on anyone. I’m so sorry you have to go through your illness. 😢
