You should get an award for the most coziest, greenish, and sophisticated backyard. I love your cottage home and everything about it. Thanks so much for sharing with us, I am learning in every show. Enjoy it greatly! ❤
Her and Laura Bee Gardening..love these gardens!
My, my, Linda! The backyard is GORGEOUS!!! Talk about the difference a year can make!!!
I loved this so much! Your garden isn't the beauty of one plant or area...but the beauty is how you have achieved this harmony of a garden that lives and breathes together as one family, outside in its own room under that beautiful sky! Love you! Sues
Now that you have a garden of your own, you can create your own little paradise 💚
I have learned so much from you in the past year, Linda! Even at 52 and a gardener for quite some time, I never thought of thinning and limbing up my trees and shrubs. My gardens look so much better because of you. Thank you!
The backyard couldn’t be more Beautiful Linda!! 💚💚💚
Hi Linda & Stuart, U to r a great team. We enjoy the great information, beautiful yards and home interior. U r so Gracious to invite us in Ur space. Tell Mr. V we appreciate him sharing U. It was good to see him just passing thru. Take time to enjoy Ur life.

My yard was a visiting yard, my husband and I always were working in our garden.. you remined me of how I loved my yard..
Take it all in...life changes.
Breathtaking beautiful❤
Enjoy...
Loving those grey pots❤ the ones you have the ferns in! How sweet of your adorable neighbors 👧👧 !
Every time, your in the backyard, I still see a red Japanese maple,in the garage corner. The color would tie in so well w/ your color scheme.
Your backyard is as beautiful as your front yard in its own way. I love the vibrant red colors in the back-a nice contrast to the softer shades in the front. Your grounds are spectacular!
You have such a talent for creating lovely gardens! Thank you, Linda, for sharing! 🌺🌲🌹🌳
My mother-in-law lived in Agua Dulce, in South Texas. She grew geraniums on the sunny west side of her house in full sun. There was a lot of sand in her soil and her plants would get 4 feet tall, and looked like a shrub across the front of her house. She lived near a busy road that leads to Corpus Christi and people would stop and take photos of her huge geraniums. The only thing I can think of that might have made them so profuse was the sandy soil. I don't believe she ever fertalized them.
Oh, but IT IS my taste and I do LOVE it. The back living room/garden is heavenly, creative, colorful - and I would be spending so much time there if it were outside my backdoor. Thank you for sharing your vision and your execution of it. 💚
Will be good to see Kayla again. Always a treat. Still laughing that you call it a lazy day after repotting & trimming the tree, etc. But those are fun things. We love you Linda. Hi Stewart
What a delightful way to start my day: having coffee and watching YOU!!!!! You are my inspiration!!! Thanks for having you!!! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Love both your backyard and front cottage gardens. So much work has been done in them in such a short time, they’re looking so established now. Well done and thanks for sharing, love your videos ❤
Such a wonderful feeling when your vision comes to life! Hard to believe your garden is only in it's 2nd year, just beautiful!
I now can understand, why you decided to put wood on your table. The warmth of wood, ties in with your backyard color. Lovely 🤣
I’m so glad you left the cedar trees! ☺️. They have such a stately presence to them.
Your vision has come true; it's gorgeous and so beckons one to come and relax.
Linda the back living room is absolutely beautiful cozy very inviting. The neighbor girls have grown so much in a year
Linda the backyard looks like a cozy lush outdoor living area that’s jumped straight out a home and garden magazine where it definitely belongs. Thank you for taking us through the entire journey. Looking forward to many more. Thank you
I love your yard and channel. You should have your own TV garden show!
It gets better by the week!
it's all come together beautifully, Linda. Enjoy the fruits of your labor. You deserve every single moment.
The backyard is an absolute dream! Beautiful! Love love love!!

Linda, that hat is so sophisticated- lovely on you!❤
When Stewart scanned the back yard at 18:54, it took my breath away! Linda, you sure did make a beautiful and peaceful back garden. This was a very informative video.
Prayers for your family and the families in Oklahoma. Stay safe. ❤❤
Your backyard, BEAUTIFUL, just BEAUTIFUL. ❤❤❤

Oh boy what a beautiful backyard it’s do complete a true dream come true. How sweet your neighbor girls brought you some bread to go with your wine and cheese later. Great relaxing Sunday ❤🍷
Yes it is charming & only one year!
Your backyard garden is gorgeous!!! Always a pleasure to be with you!!!
Hoping that your area survived the storms last night!
Your vision extraordinaire! Everything looks magnificent ❤
I love a stratification in Japanese.
Maple trees.
I have that ground cover that Stuart likes, in masse, burgundy glow....its amazing, and in full bloom right now. I have had friends come over and take chunks to take home with them, and they love it. And I have been kicking up my ground cover usage because, as you know Linda, we are aging, and my garden is still big, mulch is a huge chore, that I really want to cut out a little more each year. I absolutely love how your backyard turned out!
I wish i was there in person😊❤. Love from Rosie O from England 🏴 x
Hi Linda. Your geraniums are so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing your wonderful videos to us. 😍
Your garden has evolved so very quickly. I absolutely love what you have done. I’ve learned so much from you and hope one day that I can have gardens as lush and appealing as you have. Gorgeous!
I grow Patriot geraniums which endure hot Texas weather much better than older varieties. They suffer in August, BUT by the end of September, they have gathered strength and vigor and bounce back with beautiful fall blooms. Mine lasted this year from an early March planting to January 13 of the next year! WOWZA!
Absolutely Charming
The touches of red are wonderful!!!
Your back garden room is delightful. A real treasure.
Love your video…great sense of humor!..your gardening and styles are so beautiful !! ❤️
Your back yard simply beautiful yet very grand! I love it❤️
Your backyard is spectacular! What dreams are made of. ❤
Linda, I love your style so much I wish I had the chance to meet you someday and to explore your beautiful cottage in side and outside everything is so cozy and relaxing and peaceful you give us all the confidence to use what we have and be creative and that is so much fun to me!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing your journey in your home and garden it really is adventurous and educational and fun and encouraging ❤😊!!!
“Life is Good “
TY for the tree trimming lesson because I have used it and the result is great ! Did it on crepe Myrtles and Red Buds and am very happy !
Thank you for sharing another great video. Your backyard almost makes me want to relinquish my wide open acres for urban living.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the backyard garden room!!! I love the pops of red and orange around the social patio! The roses will look lovely with the hydrangeas! PS - I’m in camp no rain barrel so I do love seeing the signature topiary in its place! So inspirational to see this space!
You need an Ooni pizza oven for that beautiful outdoor living area! Neapolitan pizza and wine!😊❤
Sooooo beautiful!!!! ❤❤❤❤
Your backyard living room is gorgeous!!!
I entirely love it, Linda!
Yes, I did order one of those tops for me and also 3 more for my daughter and DIL's! I love mine. My kind of day, no wind and time to just putter! We have had SO much wind in NE this spring.
It's so lovely! I can't wait to see the lattice pieces on the garage wall :)
Hi, Linda. Thank you for your video. ❤
Linda, your backyard is simply gorgeous! Love it ! Y'all stay safe if you have bad weather in Oklahoma ! From Georgia with love ❤️
Linda... I love your backyard living room.... Very cozy
Loved this casual video. Lots of interest. Thank you.
I just love 💞💞💞 your backyard. The red geraniums are stunning. That bread 🍞 looks so yummy. What great neighbors you have
One of my passions is the artistic pruning of Japanese maples. I like that you demonstrated structural pruning, along with leaf pruning. I’ve read how both are used, especially for weeping Japanese maples.
I wish we could have seen a picture of the cocktail party goodies. I love to see what people put out. I bet it was a special evening in that cozy backyard!
Your backyard is so beautiful. It is truly amazing that is has just been 1 1/2 years. I think the idea of the rain barrel was a great idea, it I do like it better with the trio of topiaries
Linda, I think you would adore the Caliente Orange pelargonium for your backyard color palette. It is a hybrid that is more heat tolerant and I’ve overwintered mine for 3 years now with no issues. It would go great with your red blooms. ❤️🧡
Ok well I was in value village and found a silver tray that is lovely patina’d .it was 7.99, then a silver candle holder which had almost turned black, brought it home and made a pretty vignette on my table. My husband was impressed! I told him I was channeling my inner Linda Vater! 😂😂
Beautiful backyard! ❤️ it!
Your backyard is dreamy!
Love the red in the backyard. I’m inspired!
Linda it's gorgeous! You're amazing!
I'm admiring the gorgeous geraniums behind you -one of my very favorites. Thankfully they do well all year in my Zone 10 location all year and I have a variety of colors in different areas. I love your application of "mise en place" to gardening! I love that term for cooking and should keep it in minds for gardening - or do a better job of it than I already do
I love the cozy, welcome, beautiful look of the backyard. Dreaming of being able to brick over our concrete slab back patio. We already lined our front entry walkway with bricks on either side, ala Linda!
Take care this week, praying for you and all in the midwest.
Love the red! Enjoyed this video.
Just gorgeous, Linda!! I can hardly believe all you have accomplished in such a short period of time. Sooooo jealous, but making small improvements on my plot...
Tapered pots like that need weight in the bottom or they tip over in the wind. DO NOT FILL WITH CRUSHED CANS, STYROFOAM PEANUTS, PLASTIC BOTTLES. I (LIKE YOU) reuse old potting soil.
In Australian geraniums/pelargoniums grow very easily in the extreme dry heat
Great advice about thinning out the Japanese maple.... I have a very bushy green maple that I limbed up last year and trimmed but didnt thin. Now after seeing this I feel I can get some of the density out. Your backyard looks fantastic Linda! I absolutely love your large brick "rug", it is so unique!!
Good to know Linda that we can be a little rough with our plants.
Sending up prayers for your weather situation tonight 🙏
Id relax with u anytime ,listen to U....love your videos, information great!
Wow how the garden is changing every week it is looking better an better
Linda! I simply love your back yard!
No Words 💜
I did order one of the tarp, thank you for the recommendation. I keep it in my car for transporting plants home.
I will be over for some bread and butter lol thanks for sharing 😊
Thanks Linda. Enjoyed it! (Your back yard rug patio is my fav of all!)
I love it, love it, love it
I absolutely LOVE the outdoor living room. Who wouldn't love coming out to it! ❤ and the topiaries are over the top...
Your backyard is both cosy and elegant, and how fortunate you kept the big trees, scale-wise (IMHO). I learned the limb up method from you and used it on a Parottia Persica with great results: I could plant a collection of Hosta underneath. Thank you for your uplifting video's 💚
The backyard is stunning! I love your videos and always learn something. Thanks for sharing!❤
The backyard looks gorgeous!!
Everything is so beautiful, Linda. Thank you for teaching me with every video! Snow here in Salt Lake City today!
