Carlin,you have such a big heart for feeling responsible for your trial that you're going through with your health. You have not let anyone down,but are being such an encouragement to others who may be going through something similar or any sort of trial.We don't always know why God allows illness or other trials in our lives,but we do know that He is sovereign and in complete control of everything that happens to us. We have to have faith in His goodness regardless and put our trust in Him. So many of us are praying for you and your health. Thank you for sharing your struggles with us and giving us a chance to believe with you for answers...Zade's birthday party looked like so much fun. He seemed to not know what to do with his cake until he tasted it! So adorable. 😊💖😊💖😊💖

You are great husband being supportive and letting her know it not her fault and being there for her.
Carlin, they never found out why I was having seizures. I guess they found the right medicine combination because I haven’t had a seizure in over 15 years! I wish I could get off all the medicine because it’s not good for your liver and kidneys.
Carlin I have been on a 22 year journey. AND I STILL DONT have complete answers. I understand your feelings. God bless you.

Carlin PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't ever say that you are letting everyone down. Girl if you had a choice you would not be going through this health scare. You have the right never to bring your health up again, it is a very personal thing that might need to be between you and your husband. Only you two can decide that. Dear Carlin, I felt many of these same things over the years of getting diagnosed it is horrible, you feel like something is wrong with you but then you feel silly for dragging it out, you feel guilty for those around you who are going through it and it is hard to adapt to a new normal and not know why. Sending love and prayers. Evan did a great job of encouraging you. You two are doing great! And you're handling this with so much poise and grace ❤
I’m glad that you are getting better with the episodes. I don’t understand why it’s taking so very long for them to get the EEG done. That’s the most critical component to getting to the bottom of this. Are they really that far behind in appointments? It has been my experience that you have to be your own advocate and constantly on top of it, for things to keep moving along. You can’t become complacent if you want to get the answers you so deserve. 🙏🏻
Carlin you’re a true blessing not a disappointment. Please don’t ever think you’re letting anyone down. Please focus on yourself and your health. That’s the only thing that matters. Again, you’re an amazing woman, wife, mother, sister and friend.

Sleep deprived EEG is how I was finally (after 3 years) diagnosed. And i was weaned off medication after 3 years. Hang in there, guys. 🫂
Feeling for you Carlin. Just last night in my small group at church a friend shared how she had recently had so many people praying for her about a health issue. She felt so much pressure for things to have a positive outcome. Evan is right that it is not on you to "fix" this, but I am sure it is hard for him to understand that. Know that in this time of trials and waiting, there are many blessings! The HUGE community of people praying for you, the help of the medication, learning to let others help you, all of those are blessings! God is good, even when we don't always see it right away. ❤

My heart goes out to you. I just had my first EEG and MrI and have been experiencing seizures and it’s been very scary. I’m hoping for the best that they will pinpoint what is triggering yours and be able to eliminate them completely. 😊 god bless

Oh Carlin……you are not a disappointment, you are a blessing to everyone! I understand the feeling. I have been going through some medical problems in the past 2 years and I feel like I am letting my family and friends down when I can’t do certain things. It definitely messes with you mentally. I just have to put my faith in God and know that he doesn’t make mistakes! God will protect you and your family. Happy Birthday Zade! Zade Man is already a year old....Dang how time does fly!! It's crazy seems like just yesterday the post was on here about him being born....and Layla has grown into a great big sister! I myself had been wondering about Carlin and how her health has been but I didn't want to comment asking just because I can relate to how she feels not wanting to talk about it alot..Hopefully the doctors will soon figure out exactly what the root of the problem is and they will be able to get her 100 percent better!
