Place a small zip tie just inside the handle around all three wires with a small amount of slack as a strain relief to prevent the cables from pulling on the solder joints.
For them solder gun style irons, if it's not hot enough, shorten the tip leads = more heat
Cool , they are the same packs I'm looking at ... Yes .. Would like to see the wiring set up , how much of a difference , and if ya would recommend buying. I did see them on e bay think the cost was like $42 a piece.

SIKK SLOTS HO I got three of them very cheap. $40.00 at one of the slot car shows. So far I like them but I need more control of the ohms and brake. Will be doing a future video on that. Thanks and happy fathers day to you.
SIKK SLOTS HO Sorry I thought you meant controllers. I've had a few guys tell me about the power supplies and said they were great. I will do a video on install and testing them.
vitoman50 No Worries 😉Yes I would like to see a video on the wiring of power supply! I am on the fence of purchase .. I have a tri power pk per lane and no problems what so ever. Just wondering if the supply you just purchased would make a difference in performance?? Probably on your layout yes but , mine don't think so because of the size ????
Maybe with 10 amps who knows. Be worth trying. Need to install the timing system next.
I will be doing a series with the standard wall warts no jumpers, wall warts with jumpers and new power pack with jumpers...can't wait. But I need to put up my timing system to get an accurate comparison.

i wanna see the vid of you wiring the power supplies up. ive been looking at those too. but nervous about the wiring. love the vids, esp the car rebuilds. a parts list of what you used in the rebuilds would be helpfull but they are great !!

A soldering iron would make that 50x easier, faster, and better solder joints for stuff like this.
