but I LOVED him as Marvelous Marc. Just a great loudmouth scumbag heel. Really underrated athlete too - the Apter mags used to call him ‘the heavyweight who can fly like a cruiserweight’. I’m pretty sure Marc was the first guy I ever heard use the word ‘jobber’ onscreen when he was cutting a promo on Tom Brandi.

2:25 Where I live in Canada it's legal for women to walk around in public topless. No one does, though. The first year they legalized it, for like a week you could see plenty of jubblies at the beach, but people quickly stopped giving a shit. That was my personal awakening to the power of NO. One time I went to a TNA Impact taping at Universal Studios, I had a few beers and went to find a bathroom. Took a wrong turn and went into a room and Marc Mero, who made an appearance that night, was on a cell phone and yelled at me to get out of there. I should have been terrified since I actually recognized him, but I was just tipsy enough to be abashed and just apologize and leave 😂

I like Marc but man WWE gave him some crap gimmicks. "Wildman" seems to be Vince's answer to Johnny B Badd maybe? It stunk and Marvelous wasnt much better. Sable was the star and poor Marc had to kind of be the sidekick. He was
great in the ring but I don't think he got a fair shot. The Johnny gimmick fit him perfect, but even if he had the rights to it, Vince would have ruined it somehow.
If Jacquline did that boobs out spot in 98 then she had quite the run. She did the same in London in I think 92. Also Vince was a heel and predicted the UK would end up with a "Prime Minister of Pakistani extraction"
Just saw that Capital Carnage PPV. WWE have not censored that but they did censor The Cat flashing an arena full of 12 year old boys.
Wreslters are too nice/diplomatic in shoots these days. They used to bury each other readily.
I think it has something to do with not many wrestlers using drugs these days. Sure they may be on roids, but they aren’t taking half as many other drugs as old school guys.
