RVDs biggest payoff only being 5 digits is a crying shame, he was worth more than that
5 digits is anywhere from $10,000 to $99,000. I think that is fair for him. He was never truly a main eventer in the WWE. The events that would have paid him the most would have been Wrestlemania and Summerslam and he wasn't high on the card on either event.
I’d take 50 to 75k for being injured. Rob was hurt for that show. Not a bad payday at all.
@@jj204 he was talking about One Night Stand 2006 where he wrestled John Cena.
Van Dam and 4 20... seems right to me
98,99 RVD maybe, the version the WWE got was not at this best and was phoning it in. Might not be his fault and more WWE Creatives but lets be honest, he relies on way too my goofy spots to be taken seriously. The monkey flip, the gymnast tumble, the extremely choreographed spots all suck. The frog splash is cool but Eddie did it 100 times better. RVD should have came as a package deal with Sabu and Fonzie.
This interviewer is always like "Whats your favorite color?" Lol
Chavo is lucky Big Show is a softy. He would kill him
Anytime "smelliest" comes up, its always Balls Mahoney lol
I don't think the interviewer caught RVD's "420" quip 🤭
Dude, it's 2024 James knows what 420 means.
He did 😂 he just brushed it off , I think he likes to keep it as kid friendly as possible.
Dennis Knight would be a great interview. Dude is absolutely hilarious. His story about when they tried to sacrifice Stephanie is great.
Where did you hear that at
@@TheCatabolicTrex he's told it a few times now I believe but most notably on the Road Dogg's podcast.
Worked with RVD in NWC knew he was destined for stardom! The tag team was aerial assault...teamed with Bobby Bradley 👍👌
RVD has always been an amazing talent. I met him around 93-94 and bought an autographed 8x10 from him when he wrestled in my hometown.
I remember when Dennis Knight was with the APA for a bit, Was a riot ! haha
Mideon and Dean Malenko are funny. I never would have guessed from the gimmicks.
I love how RVD doesn’t want to talk bad about his peers.
That Shawn Michael’s impression probably came back to haunt him
@@brandondunkin5816As you grow you realize somethings you said in the past were mean and ignorant.
His impression of HBK was great though, haha. Especially since he treated RVD like garbage.
Just what I figured, Rey is super chill 😂
The Armstrongs are the nicest people ever. Anybody that’s ever been to a local show in the southeast will tell you the same thing. They’re super polite to fans and local wrestlers or even the ring crew. If you saw them even twice a year they’d even remember your name. It was uncanny. Scott Armstrong especially. Just a funny sweet guy.

Jesus H dude you're my hero ✅
You are a legend
are people here really that stupid to believe that Big Show wouldn't kill Chavo 🤦🙄. How did shooting a double leg on Kurt work out for Eddie? Sometimes you have to acknowledge when you're just out matched. Courage without wisdom is foolishness.
Still, you respect the courage of an outmatched opponent. Nobody thinks anyone could take on Andre, yet the guys who did earned the respect of their peers and Andre himself
@@joecastle9993 Andre would have been beaten by plenty of guys...
René Dupree said Show and Chavo were shoving each other
Who would think phinease i Godwin is the funniest Bts
respect to chavo
Balls being most smelliest is funny thinks ball smell , but probably sadly why he was a junky and they keep their pores closed dirty so they get higher very sad i had friends who are also gone
If you have seen Dennis Knight's shoot interviews, you would get why RVD said his name.
RVD vs Vader was a ecw tv title match I always hoped would come to fruition.
vader made just too much in japan to go to ecw back then. would have been badass
3:20
Will we ever get the full interview?
he posts clips for a bit then he posts the whole thing eventually
Always wanted to see RVD vs Mike Awesome. I bet that would’ve been a big pay day. And I think it was Eddie who also challenged Show. I think the WCW boys knew they could get away with more when it came to Show because let’s be honest if they would’ve layed hands on him it wouldn’t have been good
I imagine that was probably around the time where Show and Eddy were contending for the US championship at No Mercy. That segment where Show chokeslammed him on top of the truck was pretty brutal.
Saw the title of video and thought no way Chavo is scared to fight big show
I think 420 is getting to his mind .
This would be much better if he quit asking stupid questions and let rvd talk.
RVD was better then HBK but it didnt show in his pay , he deserved big paydays
Like think of matches RVD VS Brett Hart both worked body parts like in real combat or Ken Shamrock , Steve Blackman they could have like a belt for fighters like that he'll X-PAC
The smelliest question is mean. Imagine how you'd feel watching this and your name comes up. And it's a shitty thing to make someone try and answer. It's not funny either
lmao rene is such a punk
He was a kid at the time and wasn't mentored correctly then
Punk was respectful.these wrestlers couldn't handle tht or understand
I lose so much respect for RVD every time I watch these.
Brad said he's speaking the non truth
😂
I don't see dean being funny
Chis Jerhico in his first autobiography mentioned that Dean had a sense of humor. Like when they went to a strip club and Dean saw a really skinny stripper said to Chris " I dont know if I should tip her in dollars or food stamps."
@@nigelis2345 ok that is pretty funny
I ran into him at WCW Uncensored in 98. He was a jerk lol. We had just gotten pictures with Hogan and a few others. Dean just said “no. I don’t take pictures with guys” and proceeded to hit on my brothers girlfriend. She was 15. When she told him that he said “even better”. So maybe he is funny
Dry, cold humor. Not for everyone.
