The cluster board is notorious for screwing up. They don't just clean up either. I've owned three trailblazers and the 04's are the ones that had the issue.
Unload it fast!! I had a 04 it was a bucket of problems. I would fix one problem another would pop up. I would go to my local junkyard there were about 30 to pick from. Mine had a power steering leak it was the lines they had a rust hole in one. Any questions email me ill help you if I can
I would ask $3500 for it. Looks OK on outside and runs down the road. I think that’s a fair price. Every market is different though. I live in IL and most 2004-5 model cars and trucks are rusted out. Looks like it could be a dependable low budget daily driver for awhile yet.
An easy $3,000 bill all day long. Don’t recall if you sorted out the misfire. Sometimes cleaning the throttle body butterfly with solvent on a clean rag may help with the shuttering under load.
The antenna cable is a two piece it’s not hard to change, and you don’t have to go farther in to the dash the the glove box. I actually just re connected it at the antenna itself, I don’t remember exactly how I did it now since the stroke.
Nice little break from the Nomad...Damn,your luck is like mine some day's,you break a perfectly good part aka Radiator! I feel your pain!! As for price $3500 could be more or a little less but average $3500...Some are $3900 for roughly the same mileage and same body/interior condition, not perfect but not a total wreck either..Some are $2900 and beat to death! All depends on your area, that's what it comes to! Good Luck!
The oil gauge could have pegged due to the oil sending unit (high pressure). It should be in the back of the engine, towards the dash, but it is probably a real pain to remove and install a new one. Will your scanner unit allow you to manually access the gauges individually? If so, you can probably 😮activate/deactivate the sending unit and gauge. I think $4,000.00 is a reasonable price, plus you are including a brand new, driver’s side front, wheel hub assembly, right?
The last one I bought in 2019 was $800 and I had to buy some tires for it. That was a 2002 LT. I’d still be driving it except I left it at my sons and he didn’t want it there
500 bucks?? Man do I regret coming back to my country from the U.S., hehehe! I checked our car websites here and, although I didn't find a 2004, I found a 2002 and 2006 Trailblazers LT 4.2L. For the first one with 156,000 miles they're asking 13 grand!! And for the second one with 94,000 miles on it, 24 grand! 😂😂😂😂
I have a couple of trail blazers, one is identical to that same year same color , transmission went bad, was saving it for parts for the good one, then see if i can sell what I don't need.still lots of parts left but everyone wants shit free. Lol
Those Chevy Square bodies here in south Mississippi are selling for gold prices, 1973 through 1987 square body Chevrolet trucks are from $3000 to $20,000.
My Illinois trailblazers looked better than that rust wise I'm speaking. I had the antenna I would gladly send you but my son scrapped my Trailblazer that was parked at his house and the new antenna was in the back of it.
Terrible car to flip. Selling someone nothing but problems fix it right or junk it. On this type of flipping I think it’s wrong. Putting crap like this on the road should be illegal
Love these videos about these clunckers ! Hope to see the nomad soon!
Wiring video coming soon.
I love these flipping videos... I hope you continue to do more in the future. Great content!
Thanks!

Have a 2006 envoy with same motor. Had issue using auto lite spark plugs. Engine blew a plug out and $600 later it ended up with ac plugs.

This a nice trailblazer!!!
Judging by the year of this Trailblazer, the small antenna on the roof is for the Sirius/ XM satellite radio feature for the stereo.
either that or onstar
Love these videos. Also you have the best co pilot ever 👍🐕
Thanks!

You can ask 2.200 to 2,500 for the Trail Blazer in this market. I like the flip vids also

Damn snowball effect with everything it seems. Def worth the work tho.

I like the way you call them hubs...Bro, they are wheel bearings😂😂😂, $$$ at a shop... Puppy had a fit not being the copilot... I love your channel
Thanks!
Great job Lee on this Blazer. Hope you can get 3,000.00 . Interior is rough. But should come out ok.
shes rougher than a stucco bathtub

Check out my latest video, just bought a new batch of fixer uppers.
I'd probably change the fuel filter. That maybe the p0171 and sluggish running?
good idea!

they are known for bad transmissions due to neglect
@@clunkersandclassics that's exactly true, I bought this one used, was ok, 3 months later transmission was gone
If it showed it's ran lean, and it's low on power check the fuel filter.
it was a bad coil. video soon, it's sold
It's looks like not to bad a shape put a lot of work in to it should be able to sell it
I have a 2004 with rite at 300 thousand miles on it motor and trans have never been opened up.
Could put my old Willy’s wagon on that frame
Check al the electric connections under the car for crusties
Awesome!!! 🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎🏎

Maybe,$1800.00 Hope that you get what you are asking for.
Depending on your area I'd say $2800 with $2500 being bottom dollar. People around here are trying to get $2000 plus for clapped out junk.
I think you nailed it
Me being a collision repair shop and used car lol you better check the frame for rust before anything I see rust holes in it
No rust holes in it
You must be talking about Randy.
Another guy that does it just for youtube revenue although acting like he gets good deals but still loses money on every car due to bad decisions.
@@clunkersandclassics Sounds like Randy. I quit watching him and won’t say the name of his channel.
That was my first and only thought😅😅😅
Definitely randy.. idk how he makes money he dont know shit about cars
@@keithharden7844 randy is what refer to as bottom feeder
Lol. So far I'm guessing you will just wet it dry it and sell it?

not everyone can afford new or low mileage cream puffs. It's a work car.
Theres no reason to over price something. Just be honest to the people you try to sell to. People that do this are assnines.
1.200 is all is
Its worth.
@@_lolbit_6700 and who are you to determine car prices? You can't buy one in this kind of condition for $1200.
Can't even put the cigarette down while you shoot the video
Who cares?
Shooting the video is break time from working.
Can't watch a free video without running your mouth.
Omg!!! He's smoking! Oh wait, nobody cares.
@@Spennyman10 exactly.
it wont matter everything leaks on a chevy,, and that gen is straight garbage,, rather drive a pinto
Well, this one has well over 200k on it and is still going. You would be lucky to get 50k on a Pinto before it's shot.
