All I need is Heather Locklear now and I'm set, and some theme music of course!
You mean Heather Thomas :)
Heather Locklear did guest star on one of the episodes, but Heather Thomas played Jody throughout the series.
@@rmproute66 that episode with both Heathers put a hurting on a teenage boy.
Hate to see so many haters in the comments absolutely knitpicking this build, if it bothers you that bad go build your own, that's what hot rodding cars/trucks is about. These videos are for education and inspiration, it doesn't have to cater to every individual. There's even some things I might change about it but I'm not gonna go complain and say these guys did it wrong, because there is no wrong with the hobby of building cars. Y'all really letting the hot rod spirit die like this.
My only concern is I would NOT advise people to use gaskets on diff covers. Especially on a truck that's 40 plus years old... The covers have imperfections the cast iron housings have imperfections and a lot of times the gasket just does not make up the variation... 1/4 inch bead of black silicone all the way around on the inside of the bolt holes... It'll never leak
As a mechanic that came up in the late 80s i worked on a ton of those trucks...good stuff
Got a love old school, American trucks. Strong and simple.
Remember Fall Guy Truck had the tool box on the passenger side bed. Show was every kid's go to growing up. Awesome build.
Yeah that little tool compartment is where he kept the prop gun with blanks in it for arresting people
It was on both sides
I don’t mind the sponsors. These guys commenting are just haters with nothing better to do. I love knowing where I can order parts for my old square bodies! Keep up the good work and never stop prospering!
These shows wouldn't exist without sponsors
I really like your tip on getting paint out of the can.
Love the K10 truck, Fall guy rules! I still watch the shows on video.
Badass looking truck... great job guys 💯🤘
Hey Hi Power Nation 😊 from here in the D Michigan 😁 hey the motor city 😊 thanks for your time and video of A complete rebuild on the square body Chevy 🎉 great job Gentlemen 👍🤩
We want to hear from you! Take our quick survey and be entered for a chance to win some sweet POWERNATION merch! pntv.us/lnk_af2dc42a
SURVEY CLOSED!!!! WELL KEEP YOUR DAMN MERCH THEN!!! 😂 JK
You call that a build ? I turned a C10 into a dodge Dakota build that
@@cultfighterwhy????
Thank you very much for all your content. I love the subject matter and the great personalities.
Adds were informative and didn't feel intrusive or awkward.
The full build of the fall guy tribute is awesome
Had an 1984 same trim and colors! Silverado drove 11 years. Served me well ❤
Good job. Thanks for posting.
My dream truck; hell of a job! 👏🍻👌👍
you guys should attend the c10 show in Texas September 24th this year man bring that thing it would be sick!
Beautiful truck
just speechless work guys
the fall guy truck looks sweet but the eagle kills it BIG TIME the eagle looks to futuristic and it dont look like the original eagle good job on the restoration
The fall guy pick - up was a G. M. C Short wide bed it a dark brown metallic 😊
It's a long bed single cab you can watch a lot of videos on it. I think it was an 8lug though at least the ones they jumped
I love your videos. Looking forward for your next video.
Great stuff thank you.
When you going to do the step side from chips? The blue one of John's.
If I'm not mistaken there's orange paint underneath it because it was originally a cal-trans work truck.
your mistaken, truck came from Alabama.
@@user-ki3ot4tf3k I'm talking about the truck from the fall guy series. The series that was filmed in California. Back in the 80s where nobody would have bought a truck from Alabama when there were plenty in California.
That tall air filter was something I thought was for a 305
That's a badass ride 🤘👍
You r a wonderful person..from one mechanic to another u do the job on point..I wish I could donate to your cause soo bad but i am basically broke from my job at 63 years old..I had a shop and gave sooo many free or serious discounts to many and I slept at night just like you do I'm sure..keep it up kid..I don't think anyone here is doing what u do.. thats the scary part.
Why didnt you guys clean and paint the firewall with everything new it looks rough ,when you had everything off it was a easy job to be a better finish
Just what I came here to say. Their explanation for why they didn’t do that makes zero sense, given what they did to the entire rest of the truck.
Stunning.
I know you are shooting for a fall guy tribute, but I really would have gone with an extended cab. I plan on building a 7.3 vegetable oil pump truck as soon as I get ahead.
There is no extended cab just crew cab and they have long beds or tow beds
Not pressure testing the evaporator seems like a problem waiting to happen. It's from 85 and doubtful it will hold up long.
the best part is that nobody could steal that drivers side valve cover if their lives depended on it lmao
I Love That Truck
I’m surprised you didn’t take the diff cover off to inspect the gears and bearings
Nice truck for a Chevy but why not fix the hole in the bed from the goose neck
The motor is supposed to be in the Back right behind the cab !! 😁
It is a very nice truck i love it, Why not duel exhaust? It looked a little different with just one tail pipe,, cool build guys great work
Because they dont actually know anything about vehicles.
We had a 78 Scottsdale 4 × 4 back in the 80s with a 350
“Stunt Double” was good too, though.
I have an 85 but its a gmc, they never did come with a 350 stock, they had 4.3 5.0, 6.2 and 454. Mine also came with auto locking hubs.
Engine code LS9 (350 cu.) available from '73-86 on all K5/K10/K20. Try again. Argue all you want I have the RPO sticker to prove it.
Sweet.
We’re did you get the which guard
THE 80's HOTNESS
What would you want for the 4x4 off of the 1985 chevy
more kc's on the roll bar
Brilliant video, keep it up.
Stacey David already did this build. 600 hp on a 1/2 chassis?
Just woke up to this 5/3/24
Mi camioneta Favorita
Yeah , I gave up on these shows about 5 years ago. I rather go outside and work on my own truck . I basically use you tube videos as reference material now . Works for me and no TV . Win win
It seem the bump and rebound in the rear isn’t set to work the way it does in real life. I’ve been seeing that rear bump acts as a ride height adjustment so to speak. The lower the value the lower the rear acts and visa versa
Who seen shallow Hal! This is a weird twisted version of that😅
BEAUTIFUL build! Wish you had used a better-sounding muffler, though. It sounds like it's got glass packs or sometthing. Flowmaster 30 series or Magnaflow would have been a better choice. Other than that, I absolutely love all that you guys did on this beauty.
❤
1:45 yes remove that sensor expose to elements on 4X4 =shorted life hubs👍🤣
What does a complete build like this run ? Estimate ? I’ve got my dads 87 square body and want to try doing the same overtime .
I'm not a big fan of the plaid but all and all it's a nice truck.
I really like this video, it's awesome! However, I've been trying to find a reasonable square body like this as a starting project, I found one about the same quality of this truck (before repair). The Man was asking 22K for the thing, he finally said he would take 20k, now this is for the rough truck to start the project with. I can't find anything under 15k unless it is completely stripped or rusted out and falling apart. I found one dealer that had one for 17k, but it needed TONS of repair still, he admitted it was a project to do, but, it had no rust to amount to much. I just can't find a starting truck for a project. Can someone tell me what is the current General price range for a project truck to start with as of the year 2024? I wanted to have my own project, but it looks like I'm gonna haft to spend 30k on a basic completed truck that's ready to go. Thanks for any advise and for reasonable correct pricing info for the current year of 2024.
Hay Mark what do you do with all the projeck cars.???????????????????
Did Mr ballen paint that truck?
I had to like the comment..made me laugh.
I have a dumb question, but I’m watching the video and get to part where you start to put the new parts on and why not pressure wash or clean everything before you start putting it back together? Did I miss something? Just asking.🤷🏻♂️
chulada de troca
Legit question. Why did yall change the brake rotors at the beginning if you was going to swap the axles anyway?
Either for.mach up purpose or because plans changed mid show I'm guessing.
Anyone have a parts price list they added up?
Bidenomics had all the prices double in these videos. They originally did this in shorter episodes you can see the prices on there
Needs passenger side drop front differential
1:44:44 Lmao he said "duty"
How many co-hosts can 1 truck build go thru
Why do you prefer Wix Oil Filters??
How long did the truck actually take to rebuild
A little under 3 hours
1985 Chevrolet K10
1:52:24 1:55:20 2:04:26
I’d shit myself knowing I couldn’t do anything about it
These "full-build" videos would be much, much better if they did some editing on them. Watching the show intro and teasers 12 times is very irritating.
How much to sell it!!??
What would be the use of this kinda truck? Surely it cant be too good to drive on the road with liftkit and those tyres. Cool though.
Summit racing… summit racing… we get it! Ok, we know who sponsored the show
I'm gonna go ahead and punch big holes in my ears. Looks so cool. Also, why don't use guys use battery powered impact tools at least. Speed things up.
sale set up before filming
👍
Is this Truck For Sale or has it been sold???
Serious Buyer if available.

When did Edelbrock start producing knock off Holley’s? They’re probably as much junk as their flagships.
One. Long. Infomercial. Now I remember why I stopped watching these shows on TV. Just happened to wake up on the sofa and it was on.
No sponsors, no show. It’s the way of the world man, gotta take the bad with the good

@craigstark2712 best 10 bucks u can spend. Haha
" You must be poor to entertain me" ~ child
@@craigstark2712 did you even watch the video to understand what I was talking about?? Not the RUclips ads that I don't get, but every corner of the video was a sales pitch of a product... It was never that bad..
Stunt Double was a better name
Love the shoe the only thing that I dislike is the fact that you took out the numbers matching motor which depleted the value of the truck😢
new guys says "that just screams 80's" as if he was alive then. actually it is more of a 90's thing. still a lot of older c-10 on the road in the 80's
. GOD ...
Boys, thank you so much for making a compilation, this is one of my fav builds from you 💪🫶 legendary
Anyone notice they didn't put a gasket on the headers? If so do you know why?
Since when do you do a brake job like that and not repack the bearings? High school Rock Auto ad.
The stripe on the front fenders is wrong. Most guys get it wrong. Look at the factory brochure u'll see how it's supposed to be
Y’all are a couple little city slickers I can tell
I miss stacey david
Man you guys don't know what mudding is if that's what you called that
exactly why chevy is the best brand
No way would I have drilled into that ruck for that antenna. 🤦🏻
You got the engine out and it died and urinated all over the floor
Why'd you make it an automatic?! That just sucks the fun out of it!
Audience growing old . Youngster days stickshift. Older days automatics . .
Like the video but damn there are too many commercials!! Sucks
Not if you subscribe to RUclips
@@mrbriggs68 Or just use a browser that supports addblock, YT premium is a scam.
a RUclips PREMIUM subscription is well worth the $$. They have a TV package as well for those who "ditched cable"...
I ditched all cable and satellite 15 years ago. RUclips has its downfalls, but premium cutting out commercials makes it worth it.
