When I bought my first GS many years ago, I thought the clasp had a QC fault, with that lip jutting out like that. It took me about 5 minutes to realise that it's designed like that, and another 10 seconds to LOVE the design. A half dozen or so Grand Seiko's later, I still love seeing that blade at the bottom of the bracelet. A beautiful character feature.
Great video! I am hoping to pick one up in the coming weeks. Could you tell me how thick the crystal is that is above the steel. Trying to get a feel for how thick this will wear on wrist. I know it’s ~12.9 but that’s including the crystal. Thanks!
