More content variety means more views as well as publicity. This guy owns a boutique in Cleveland, this is a good way to gain even more foot traffic. It’s a win win for him! Of course I’d take the list with a grain of salt considering how many Seiko’s are on there. I don’t care how affordable or how many designs they have, a shitty watch accuracy/movement means a worthless watch.

I was in Japan last week and stopped by the Grand Seiko Boutique. There's a new Astron with a blue dial that just POPS and spoke to me, so I picked it up. It's nice to see a bright blue dial, as it seems "Midnight Blue" is the rave, and frankly just looks black in most lighting situations. It fits this category as is under $1000 and is the ever popular integrated bracelet style. I never thought I'd pick up an Astron, but the dial is phenomenal!

Thanks for showing these off, actually last week, I was hesitating exactly between the Seiko SRPE41 "Negroni" and the Gentleman (in white) for about the same price. I've finally chosen the Gentleman as it seemed more versatile for everyday wear.
But I really love the dial of the Seiko, it packed quite a punch for its price, and I like the smaller size, but I felt like you couldn't wear this deep red watch with most things. Maybe I am not enough of a dandy. :)

Great stuff, though my vote would go the Pantheum Automatic Oculus, a dial inspired by the ancient Roman Pantheon. It's amazing for that price point.

The Nodus Unity is very nice. The color matched ceramic insert is there as part of the aesthetic. It's not a five watch. It steps up perfectly from the edge to the crystal and will deter desk and similar scratches that steel can't. It feels great on the wrist. The applied markers surrounding the cutouts on the dial are also a Nodus signature. They did this on their Duality years ago.

Hi Teddy , greetings from India.
From the brands shown in this video , only Seiko and Tissot is available in India.
I really love that Baltic though.
In the future please try making these videos region specific if possible.

Love the Farer, apart from the lack of a date.

I would petition the Seiko SARX055 to be on the list! “Snowflake” dial, titanium case for under $1k!!

Not on the list and infinitely cooler than the Hamilton that made the list: the Interstellar pilot or "Cooper." I am actually wearing mine right now and, two years later, I still can't stop from staring at it. From the hands to the shimmering number indices, this dial is so great to look at.

I've always liked the Tissot Gentleman, and if they made one in a 36-38mm size, I'd be the first in line to buy one.
