Makeover: Armoire makeover

Welcome back to my channel! Today, we're giving an old armoire a new happy
life with a beautiful makeover. Let's dive into the step-by-step
transformation of this piece from drab to fab.
Step 1: Preparing the Armoire
First, I thoroughly cleaned the armoire to remove any dust and grime. This
step is crucial to ensure the paint adheres properly.
Step 2: Creating the Custom Paint
I decided to mix my own custom color by blending various shades of blues and
greens. This allowed me to achieve a unique and personalized hue that
perfectly suits the armoire's character.
Step 3: Applying the Paint
I painted the armoire with two coats of my custom color and in French Beige
color. This not only ensured full coverage but also added depth to the
finish. Make sure to let each coat dry completely before applying the next.
Step 4: Designing the Floral Garland
Next, I created a beautiful composition of flowers to form a garland around
the door. The design is flexible and dynamic, giving a sense of movement to
the piece. This step adds a touch of nature and whimsy to the armoire.
Step 5: Adding a Personal Touch
In the middle of the door, I added a special text in French: "Tu peux
devenir tout ce que ton cœur désire," which translates to "You can become
anything your heart desires." This personal message is just for you, not everybody needs to see it.
Step 6: Preparing the Wooden Ornaments
I carefully prepared the wooden ornaments that would be added to the armoire. These details enhance the overall aesthetic and give the piece a refined look.
Step 7: Sealing the Finish
Unlike my usual matte finishes, I opted for a shiny seal this time. The
glossy finish is perfect for this armoire, adding a touch of elegance and sophistication.
Step 8: Adding Dark Wax Accents
To give the armoire a vintage feel, I used dark waxes to accentuate the
ornaments. This technique mimics the natural accumulation of dirt in
corners, adding depth and character to the piece.
Step 9: The Final Touches
After everything was dry, I gave the armoire one last inspection to ensure every detail was perfect. Now, this armoire is happy and ready to move to a

This makeover was a labor of love, transforming an old armoire into a
stunning piece that carries a personal message for its new owner.
