Dude, the more I watch your videos, the more I'm liking them. Hands down the Maggie over the Harrop equivalent for inlet temps/heat soak etc. Keep doing what you're doing!
Basically the TWR coolers are set up to use the OE engine or radiator coolant, so as long as that coolant is good the temps will only go as high as what the coolants is set up for. :)
People look up hennessey performance he has stock exhausts on 500KW and 550Kw VF's in the states, so really you dont need to change headers at all, its proof positive that changing you factory headers is a total waste of time, unless your going to drag the car its a waste of money full stop and also with all supercharged engines heads is a must due to the massive amount of air forced into the heads, so getting good heads and cam and exhausts will set you up for drags, but then again its all a waste of cash why because if you really want to drag car, then you would have a drag car built from a crappy old car and put in a 2 speed powerglide with 1/4 gear set and plenty of HP and then that car will run into the low 8's easy all day everyday, but again dragging is a very expensive sport unless you do it all yourself. or your mates help you out. :)
Thanks for the reply 👍 If one was to aim for the 400-450rwkw range what additions would you recommend in order to safeguard the ls3 engine, or at what power output do you think those additions would be advisable, for safety, rather than performance?
@@thomasdavico3107 It would come down to how you drive it more then anything. Street duties and taking it to the track is fine! It's the ones that sit on the limiter all day are the one's that hurt their engines.
@@IndependentMotorsports Sorry I should've been more specific. As a daily driver keeping it under 4k rpm in stop-start traffic(potential heat build-up) with the occasional trip to the bush to stretch it's legs. About 2 track days per year max. Thanks
@@thomasdavico3107 These Heartbeat 2300 have a better interchiller/cooler then most other brands. For what you want to use it for, the blower package is perfect as it is. There will be some heat soak from the blower like most forced induction vehicles. But if you want some more insurance, we can definitely fit better a cooler system
36 degrees what |f or C, after all if its summer time, then 36 degrees inside you will be sweating like mad especially with a car running its titis off as well, lol :) also what about a interchiller with A/C gas cooling the supercharger which gives you about a extra 50Kw at the rear wheels as well on top of whats there already and well worth it in those place which are hot all year round like NT QLD and top end of WA or WA anyway. :)

Added one of these to my VF R8 pushing it from 340Kw to 540kw and absolutely love it.

Great job 👍.
More video’s of before and after and maybe some time laps of the install side of things?
What's best for a stock LS2 Whipple 2.9 or Harrop 2300
Sweet
It certainly is an impressive car!
Is their anything you can do to get the intake temps down more on these heart beats
How is that heartbeat treating you??
Would you do it again? I'm thinking of getting either the heartbeat or the Kong ..can't decide
We love them, we couldn't recommend them highly enough
Great vid but we cannot see what your talking about when you say as you can see several times hehe
Would fit these blowers to a vf2 ls3 using the stock exhaust?

Thanks for that fuc*ing pointless rant on your over opinionated paragraph!!!!!
Do you need a cuddle mate?
What's your opinion on installing transmission + engine oil cooler with this set-up?
We can certainly fit and supply them. A bit of insurance is always good, though is not essential.
Thanks for the reply 👍

ambiant temp of 36 degrees still wearing jumper...
Is there anything wrong with that?
@@IndependentMotorsports just odd.. Feel you'd be having higher intake temp changes then the blower in 36 degree ambiant with the jumper.. 😂
