Yes but to many tamagotchis
At least she keeps them showcased and very neat. I have almost as many as her, but mine are all in little pouches in plastic tubs. I want a plexiglass shelf unit to display mine as well. Not regular glass, since it can break. My husband (when he was alive) supported my tama habit as well, and even played them. Her collection is awesome. (Jan Griffiths).@@Lovesanimals4

My age 71yr old I bought one each for my daughters back in the day when they were at primary school I can't believe the colours you get on the screen now might even get my daughters new ones but I'm not sure if they would play with them as they in their over 30yr old now
Most of the people in the Tamagotchi community are over 30 actually. Tamagotchi are for all ages ❤
I’m 23 I love mine
I just got my first new one (had an original when I was young) and I've had a lot of fun playing with it! They're so different than the old ones. I bought the uni and it's much easier to keep alive, so maybe they would enjoy it even though they are likely busy.
6000 for a hobby for over SO many years, its actually not that expensive really

I have a much bigger collection than her and i resold many of them for around $10k and i still have more than her. Basically what I’m saying is tamagotchis are a good investment. You will make 10x money back if you decide to resell. I will never sell my entire collection, but it’s nice to know in an emergency i will be ok if i sell them.
When she said that some turned yellow and she is trying to move past it but probably won’t fully ever be over it, it made me think of when my original Animal Crossing New Leaf village got erased. Idk why, but that one devastated me more than my OG one from being a kid. When things are important to you and you messed them up its just kinda like… damn.
I love her custom wedding tamagotchi! So awesome.
1:21 The OG of Tamagochis.. literally from a small bubble, it slowly grew to a huge bubble, tail and eventually became a dino 😄

I have an American Ocean (Umino), and I've never been able to get past the baby stage. It's the blue one with bubbles. I got mine at Toys R Us in 1998. It was with the regular tamas, and was also $15.99 USD. One of my favorite Japanese tama is the Uratama, with blue pixels. I have 2 of them, same shell design---blue neon 2006. I was on ebay earlier, and the prices of tamas has really gone into the stratosphere. I'm glad I got mine years ago when they were relatively inexpensive. I have 138 tamas, giga pets, and other virtual pets in my collection. Yours is absolutely gorgeous. (Jan Griffiths).
I'm always carrying around a tama in my pocket--nothing bigger than a Connection model though. I use it for the clock when I'm at work. I'm carrying a CYOI Entama (blue one) right now. Some of mine have yellowed also over the years, and I do keep mine out of sunlight. The plastic does deteriorate over time. Unfortunately, it's something we have no control over, and have to accept it. (Jan Griffiths).
$6000 maybe for the retail value, but today it has to be double then that or more for that collection

This video reminded me of my childhood. The release of tamagochi and digimon. Still cant forget the days when I choose digimon over tamagochi and bring it to school to battle it out. Cut MRT card into strips and trying to hack for my favourite digimon. hahaha.
I used to have groovytime tamagotchi v5 I loved it named her hippie I lost her at work was hurt and I can’t afford $80 to replace it I have had others I love having a color tama now I had wondergarden and just bought the pix party pretty cool. I am bringing mine everywhere too

It will be heart broken when those start to spoil...
They won't "spoil" if you take good care of them. Removing the batteries when not playing them is a good start. Having a dedicated place to store them is also a must. Don't just throw them in a drawer. Don't leave them in the sunlight, and no prolonged exposure to temperature extremes, and don't get them wet. Also keep their backs on them when not in use. Simple rules to follow, and they should last for years. (Jan Griffiths).

🙏 Happy some can get emotional & moral support from their favourite action figurines or cartoon characters! Maybe these familiar & much loved characters never treat us badly & are Friends Forever! Do slowly substitute or link them to something more Real & Lasting like choosing Angels , Gods or Goddesses & Enlightened Beings with Their Respective Mantras that we are comfortable with to lead our Spiritual Life to a Better World or Realm when the time comes , as Everything has to go through Birth , Ageing , Sickness & Death! My comfort buddies are the LEGO Bionicles! Unity. Duty. Destiny! 🌷🌿🌍💜🕊
