a few months ago i bought a white with a funky arcade carpet-pattern tamagotchi gen1 at target, mostly as a joke, but i fell in love and have now been wanting to get more! i am getting a purple tamagotchi magical meets that isn't going to be here until late june (which is perfect timing in my book because my birthday is june 30th!), and am planning on saving up and purchasing an anniversary party edition of the smart along with maybe the musical friends tamasma card (i love chekeratchi)! i may also one day pick up the miku tamagotchi nano since i am a huge vocaloid fan. i love these videos because i had no idea there were this many tamagotchis out there!! definitely helped me set my eyes on a few i may get in the VERY far off future!
Ahh welcome to the hobby!!! The anniversary party Smart is sooo pretty and worth it for the book it comes with! Also have you seen the Premium Bandai Miku Tamagotchi Nano? It comes in a beautiful special edition box and the shell is clear! It's soooo beautiful!! Definitely worth collecting! ♥
video request; i just moved to japan and recently got into tama collecting and found your channel. it's been so helpful, i love collecting items that i personally consider vintage/ or missed out on and i knew this was all the rage when i was really little but missed out on it. so your videos have helped me picked out which gens/series i wanted 😅 thnkz so much! if you get the chance once your situated, i wouldn't mind a walk-though video on the tamagotchi magic vs meets, just to hear your thoughts on them content wise. they have my absolute fav shell designs and i really want to collect specifically the korean halloween edition (magic series) thats still being sold out here in japan online at reasonable price and/or both the white japan exclusive colour(meets edition). My first ever Tama is the pix party from a few months ago and the Uni, i love the feel, challenge, and detail more so on the pix party vs uni and how they had exclusive character / items depending on which console you bought. And that you're able to keep track of the gens per character you raise. I don't think the gen tracking is possible on the uni it's a total bummer. i love little details like that. sorry for the ramble! Hope this makes sense lol. 🤣
Thank you so much for watching!! I personally love the Korean Ssome! The only limitation though is that the Ssomes don't support bluetooth! This means they are not compatible with the Meets app that allows you to connect / mix Tama genes with friends around the world. I also think the Pix is very fun! I've been running the Uni continuously though because there are so many new downloadable content being released every week!! Every time I feel like it's time to run something different, a new Uni event / new downloadable item is announced! 😂

hi, i just started watching your channel. Me and my siblings used to play with our tamagotchi 4u's all the time, and i have been thinking of buying a tamagotchi meets/on. Although i am a tad bit worried, some of the reviews on amazon say they got theirs and they were malfunctioning or broken, or that the battery runs out super fast. Where do you buy yours from?

It really depends on the model! I find that some models like the Meets are very hard to kill 😅 I can go a day without caring for it and my pet would be alive. Other models like the vintage umino / morino are super needy, they usually don’t last more than a day for me if I run them during work 😂
Where in Hong Kong did you find all this Tamagotchi stuff? I'm there frequently and have never found Tamagotchis in stores. Would love to check it out! Edit: Going to watch the vlog, but if there are any you didn't mention in the vlog, I'd love to know about them!
I like your videos. But after watching a couple of them I noticed that your editing style is to remove all the natural pauses in your speech, which makes the talking sound really ”rapid fire”, which gets really tiring quickly. You could experiment this in some video by leaving more natural quiet breaks in the talking sections, so that it’d be easier to the ears and easier to the viewers to process the information. Thanks!

I got mine in Japan when they were released! Use rechargeable batteries - then you don’t have to buy a whole bunch 😊
