Some bands are seated in the pits of our beings and you guys were always one of those for me. That kid in 2005 is gone but they way you made him feel will never leave. Misery signals you are like a warm hug that got me through some very cold days. I thank you all for some truly incredible music.
We will be lifted again Let this bring light Nurture those starry eyes, old friend, for this is not your time Mend those broken wings and reset, we will make this right Ride the wind and chase the Sun and fly amidst the stars once more Hold on, I know that you can fight When the world becomes so black we must sculpt the night and remake the skies So share those starry eyes again and move towards the light And spread those scarred wings, reset, and take to new heights Ride the wind and chase the Sun and fly amidst the constellations Hold on and overcome the night All will be alright Forge through this tempest From ashes rise to again shine Reach for the sky When the world becomes so black we must sculpt the night and remake the skies
@@maxwelld23 For me it's the opposite. I can appreciate the Karl era stuff but Jesse has this magic that you can't really replicate. It's just his emotional intensity and straightforwardness I guess and not just his vocal technique per say. He's the perfect metal core vocalist. That's why of Malice always stuck with me I think
i have misery signals tattooed on me that's how much of an impact they had on me when I was like 16 lol. Don't regret the tattoo at all, I get a lot of questions about it though and it gives me the chance to express my passion for this band
Maybe I’m the only one, but misery signals sounded so complete with Karl. He put fourth so much emotion and the way it went with the music was so natural. Don’t get me wrong, I love hearing MS is back but Karl was the man 😭
As a local fan who witnessed the untimely end of Compromise and birth if Misery signals, there is no MS without Jesse. That other iteration was good. But it's a different band. MS is born from Jesse and the Compromise tragedy.
Respectfully I disagree. For the long time listeners of MS, Jesse really is the identity factor in what makes MS’ sound so distinct. Controller with Karl and Absent Light was incredible and nothing short of amazing. Yet when we look back, understand the EP and the relation to 7 Angels 7 Plagues and how Jesse grew with the band, you can hear what makes MS and it’s a distinct sound that is easily achieved with Jesse. The Tempest is such an amazing throwback to Of Malice and the Magnum Heart I honestly thought we would never get to witness those glory days repeat.
@@a.johnrobbins175 i would like to hear more about this Compromise tragedy you speak of in all honesty. I never heard that story and love MS so would appreciate to know more if you got time to explain it.
First listen. This is incredible. I never listened to Jesse's album and I loved Carl's lyrics on Controller. Within the top 3 albums that I will listen to forever. But this song grabbed me right away. Can't wait for the album.
Oh man. This is a beautiful song/video. To me it reflects the true heart of metallic/melodic hardcore. That "don't lose hope" pulse. Misery Signals has always had that effect on me.
I lost my grandma when of malice and magnum came out and it hit hard, 2 years after ultra violet i lost my grandpa and mom, this band honestly pulled me from some dark places and i understand when people say music saved them.
Misery signals keeping it real!!! This made my year!! Branden Morgan is the shit!!!!! Thanks for the music guys please don't stop!! Here I thought all new good rock/metal albums are gone. You guys and Blood Command's newer album "Cult Drugs" are keeping me going
malice was always my favorite album. it just think it had alot of heart. didn't really like absent light at all. you could just tell that there wasn't a ton of chemistry with the members. so pumped to see the original line up back again. it sounds like it's going to be amazing.
I just watched Yesterday Was Everything and good lord is that a great documentary. I just finished it and didn't know where to let you guys know. I grew up in Milwaukee and being a metal fan, you guys are close to my heart. Such an inspiring story and you guys seem like such good dudes. Seriously, fantastic work. The story had perfect interviews, nice pacing, beautifully shot. This film is absolutely top notch and I love you guys. The new album is also incredible. Keep it up!
Spotify has 140k plays, so they're still doing alright! Basick's label reach sucks because they haven't been maintaining an active roster. Frankly its sad to see Misery Signals on here because Basick won't give them the reach they need to get back up to speed.
I hate that I was so late to listening to metalcore in my life. I did experience some as a teenager, but it was just the more mainstream bands like Killswitch and BFMV. The first time I heard this song… INSTANT GOOSEBUMPS. Sums up my music taste to a T ❤️
I haven't listen to MS in awhile and I'm glad I started again, this song gave me goosebumps and not a lot of metal songs give me goosebumps. Thank you for that Misery Signals
Very happy to see MS back! Bit of a tease with the outro guitarmelodics in this song , let's hope there's more to come! You got me hyped that's for sure! Fingers crossed Sweden will be on the European tour list!
I can’t deny that I miss Karl (his vocals were something else) but I’m happy to have new Misery Signals. Absent Light was my 3rd favorite album of the last decade.
Caleb Spidel I like Of Malice a lot but personally I just fuckin loved Controller and Absent Light (I know Absent Light gets a bad rap for some reason but I don’t care, I thought that album was phenomenal. Ursa Minor was probably my favorite song on that album, bump that one in the car a lot haha). Controller was perfect in my opinion, what an album. It’s the one that got me into Misery Signals.
MS with Jesse is a different MS than with Karl. I prefer the Karl days and I respect people love the Jesse days but its so crazy how the sound is based on the vocalist with this act and I love that their basis is consistent through the years.
I am so fucking glad you lads are back!! Last time I saw you guys live, was in 2008 in support with Bring Me The Horizon at the Troubadour 💙🖤 Absolutely love everything you guys do and stand for 💙🖤💀💀💙🖤

One of the few band's that never lost their Core sound.
these guys and Hopesfall
What? This sounds so far off from everything they've done except maybe Absent Light lol
Nick Paquette it can sound different while still having a core sound. If you don’t hear this and immediately think “misery signals” then idk man.
Never abandon the core!
i loved BMTH and emarosa that lost their core sound.so sad.

I really feel like they never got the recognition they deserve as being one of the best OG metalcore bands. Their whole catalog is 🔥!
We will be lifted again
Let this bring light
Nurture those starry eyes, old friend, for this is not your time
Mend those broken wings and reset, we will make this right
Ride the wind and chase the Sun and fly amidst the stars once more

So share those starry eyes again and move towards the light
And spread those scarred wings, reset, and take to new heights
Ride the wind and chase the Sun and fly amidst the constellations
Hold on and overcome the night
All will be alright
Forge through this tempest
From ashes rise to again shine
Reach for the sky
When the world becomes so black we must sculpt the night and remake the skies
ughhhh TY i was gonna do this lol
Of malice.. Part 2. 💯
Im glad Jesse is back. So much emotion in his voice!😍
Truth!
I miss Karl if I’m being honest not that this is bad but it sounds like a weaker imitation to me
