This. I've been listening to Misery Signals since I saw them on Headbangers Ball back in the 2000s. This band has been a monument/pillar to rely on in many ways.
Probably not gunpoint, but more of “verbal promise to Pop Rockasize” 😆 I know what you mean though

I think Blake Dahlinger from I The Mighty is pretty good too imo
I'll second this. He is almost never talked about and he's constantly been ahead of the game. Putting a ton of thought and creativity into his drum parts

You could check on Chris Turner from Ocean Ate Alaska that guy is a beast on the drums
This song sounds like it could have been on Of Malice or Mirrors I like the whole album, but this is the song that sounds the most like a dead ringer of how they sounded 15 years ago

This album took a while to grow on me, as it didnt really hit me at the right time in my life. I’m absolutely in love with it now. I hope they keep making music
