Thanks for the timeless memories you gave us. I know my comment will mean nothing and will be lost in the grand wasteland of RUclips comments but I hope you know how special your music is to a lot of people.
Bro this was the first video I seen on headbangers ball when I was getting into heavier music this album will forever have a special place in my heart ❤️
This music inspired August Burns Red (Matt Greiner) who taught, Texas In July (Adam Grey) and because of all of this we have Luke Holland. Thank you everyone involved with Misery Signals.
Yeah ! it's 2018 and still no other band can stand even close to the music these guys did back then.. Of Malice... is my favourite and most played album since hmmm since i started to listen to this genre and belive me it's been loooooong time ago, i like and love metalcorish djent nowadays but like i said no other band did so much for metalcore as MS i will always come back to their music i must ! day after day...
Had to come here after finding out that these guys are hanging it up after two decades. Thank you Misery Signals. Easily the greatest the modern day metalcore band we’ve ever gotten. Inspired the genre to no end. That’s for sure.
It really does! To some it’s just a dude screaming because he’s angry about something but it all screams and instruments encompass so many emotions like love, grief, regret and so on. Really not a lot of bands can do it as well as MS.
These guys save my life over and over again....Especially this album. I lost my girlfriend, unexpectedly in the summer of 2015. She kept all of our pictures on a camera that was destroyed in the accident. This song has helped me get through it. Everything that they compose is a masterpiece. 👍
Just discovered this band thanks to my favorite band counterparts, they said they were heavily influenced by this band and I can DEFINITELY hear it and I love them already
Counterparts are an amazing group. TDBHAH is a masterpiece. Especially that last track Soil. The way it just sort of slow down and melts away to the end.
Lots of good memories associated with this album. Makes me feel like I'm in high school again. Good days, good times, when Metalcore was fresh and real.
There's nobody out doing it like this anymore. 10 years later and this bands still the most exciting I've heard from their peers or those who came after. Just my opinion don't attack me.
This sounds EXACTLY like so many other bands, double kick drums, pound, pound, pound, guitarists playing as fast as possible and shitty growling vocals ad nauseum. This isn't anything unique.
Crap., so you saw a band play a show and think they're so good. Yawn, Misery Signals was just another band, nothing more. Never went anywhere because they simply weren't good enough.
I recent introduced this band to my son. I love this song and this band amount old school coheed. these are bands I want my child to experience. luckily, he has his own taste and loves different songs from bands I love.
I love MisSigs energy in this video. As if they're living for the people who no longer are. I'll always love this band. Malice and Controller are incomparable albums.
You will be missed, thank you guys for the amazing music, your songs helped me a lot on bad and good moments of life..I feel sad cuz I'll never watch you guys on my Portugal, but you always be one of my favorite bands.wish you all the best
From 3:08 til the end just breaks my heart. It's the most powerful thing i've ever seen expressed in music...I've listened to it so many times these past few days, i've not even lost a close friend like that, but I almost feel like I have just because of how emotional this song is.
this is why i love bands like this. there's meaning behind every lyric. obviously i do not know the guys in the band or do i know "jordo" but i get chills listening to this song. for a few minutes i can experience what these guys went through, and thats music.
with all its praise this is one of the underrated metal albums of all time. everything is perfect! and unfortunately everything went downhill after this album. I just find it frustrating that so many haven't discovered this album. I just hope everyone who has a love for this album can spread the word.
This time... It was our summer. It was something no one could take from us! Sometimes that night, seems so close Like I, could hold it You said alright, we'll be fine. But how could we have known? Do you remember? Roll down the window let in night air. I always thought we'd be together You said we've never gone this way before I must not let you die Your memory survives Hope that tonight things are fine As I lay awake The light cuts the southern sky And glass stings my lungs These scars they will always remind me of you and how you're always with me Won't you say and be with me tonight? Don't you know I tried to find those pictures With no light I lost them as I lost you Hoping to see and be with you again Wishing the best for you my lost friend To hear you laugh one last time I hope you know I tried to find those pictures Jordo. Of us that night in Detroit with the Pressure Point and I now feel the need to fly and hide inside your loving arms I swear I'd give the whole thing up for you.
Man, ive been listening to this album for almost 14 years and it still blows me away how fucking great this album is. Misery Signals has been my favourite band since i was introduced to their music all that time ago and they are still my favourite band to this day.
I started listening to grindcore and fast extreme stuff years later but this song and album will always have a place in my heart.. My teenager years were the best. Thanks Misery Signals for share that time next to me.
This song is about 2 members and best friends dying in a car accident. Who cares about the genre. Respect the feelings these guys were feeling. The pain they felt "the year the summer ended in June"- the month of the car crash
i have had the pleasure of seeing these guys, and everything i just stood in awe at how tight and amazing this band really is. So under rated. Amazingly jealous of my best friend who had the pleasures of touring south east asia with these guys.
I made this song recently an obituary of the lyrics of my late cousin that passed in February 2022 and it makes me in tears that this is most important song about him and he lost his brother in 2000s I like to thank you that this song will describe how I love him and will always miss him in words that no one will understand.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
This year... I didn't even see summer come. But, this is still the only Misery Signals Album I've ever heard. I promised myself that when my old friend left the band, I'd just stop listening. Because I wanted to hold onto that one perfect album. And I did.
every couple Weeks i skip the ASAP Rocky, Vince Staples, Biggie Smalls, and blast me some Misery Signals. This song got me through some SHIIIIIIIT! Cheers to good music boys.
Bro I believe everyone should have respect for any artist of any genre as long as they play with balls and passion . A perfect example of a musician that was known for his hard work ethic and passion was 2 pac.I love everything from Spanish music to many variations of rock definitely punk ,metalcore and heavy metal , I am also into electronic and hip hop music.
1:39 the breakdown in Coma off of Controller always made me think about the breakdown in this song. The whole transition into it and everything is just so similar
I’ll be seeing you boys in Toronto. One last time. Hope I get to take the mic and sing with you all again! So much love! You’ve no idea what you’ve helped me survive.
Thanks for the timeless memories you gave us. I know my comment will mean nothing and will be lost in the grand wasteland of RUclips comments but I hope you know how special your music is to a lot of people.

Comment’s not lost. It’s one of the top comments
This music inspired August Burns Red (Matt Greiner) who taught, Texas In July (Adam Grey) and because of all of this we have Luke Holland. Thank you everyone involved with Misery Signals.
Every modern metalcore band should take inspiration from Misery Signals. This album will always be a classic in the genre.
Just my opinion but Of Malice and the Magnum Heart is the best metal core album of all time
Yeah ! it's 2018 and still no other band can stand even close to the music these guys did back then.. Had to come here after finding out that these guys are hanging it up after two decades.
Thank you Misery Signals. Easily the greatest the modern day metalcore band we’ve ever gotten.

Likewise.
Same.

Always loved this song but since June 14th 2023 it hits different. R.i.p. John
This album brings out so many emotions. Such a masterpiece.
seriously though this was my soundtrack once. great album.
It really does! To some it’s just a dude screaming because he’s angry about something but it all screams and instruments encompass so many emotions like love, grief, regret and so on. Really not a lot of bands can do it as well as MS.
Aye. I love In Summary of What I Am as well.
This song never fails to give me goosebumps

I legit had goosebumps as I was reading your comment, I felt that bro!

Haven't listened to Erra I guess?
Trent Bos I love ERRA, but no.
Trent Bos I love Erra so much as well, but let's be honest, they owe so much to this band.
***** you don't have to like ERRA, but calling them generic is patently false.
Erra are good at what they do but this is on a different level entirely
The metalcore masterpiece.
First time I listened to this I was 16 and it was unlike anything I had ever heard.
17 years later and it still is one of the best songs out there
There's nobody out doing it like this anymore. 10 years later and this bands still the most exciting I've heard from their peers or those who came after. Just my opinion don't attack me.

It's true... nothing's like misery signals ...
Crap., so you saw a band play a show and think they're so good. Yawn, Misery Signals was just another band, nothing more. Never went anywhere because they simply weren't good enough.
still in 2019...amazing band that tells an actual story. So underrated
seeing/hearing them play this at one of their Malice X shows was one of the most emotional and incredible nights of my life.
Amazing
heading to your farewell show tonight and it hurts but hope you guys know how much of an impact you made on so many people
Found this song back in 2013. Even after all these years, that outro is something really special.
I’m here in 2024 brings back memories ❤
Almost 2025
I HOPE YOU KNOW I TRIED TO FIND THOSE PICTURES JORDO.
I recent introduced this band to my son. I love this song and this band amount old school coheed. these are bands I want my child to experience. luckily, he has his own taste and loves different songs from bands I love.
wow, I just realized all the typos I did. oh well
who cares! I'm a huge Misery Signals and Coheed fan. Your son is lucky!
Roberto Reyes when he was a baby, he would only go to sleep when I played eleventh hour by lamb of god. lol he's a little rocker.
I used to headbang when I was a baby and then when the music stopped I would just sit there

Still has the same impact on me as it did the first time I heard this song and album many moons ago. Timeless. “And how you’re always with me.” 🖤
2020. Still listening.
Still getting goose bumps.
I saw them in Portland back in 2005 - one of the best shows I’ve ever been to
3:15 this bit is phenomenal
Still listening in 2019 every year for those weve lost. Stay resting C.J.S. 1984- June 9th 2003.
MrGoldenMoose strangely enough June 9th is my birthday. May they continue to Rest In Peace and Love.

2021 been bumping this since it came out, simpler days

The power behind this song is unmatched. Plain and simple.
One of the best, if not the best metalcore song ever written
This time... It was our summer.
It was something
no one could take from us!
Sometimes that night, seems so close
Like I, could hold it
You said alright, we'll be fine.
But how could we have known?
Do you remember?
Roll down the window let in night air.
I always thought we'd be together
You said we've never gone this way before
I must not let you die
Your memory survives
Hope that tonight things are fine
As I lay awake
The light cuts the southern sky
And glass stings my lungs
These scars they will always remind me of you
and how you're always with me
Won't you say and be with me tonight?
Don't you know I tried to find those pictures
With no light
I lost them as I lost you
Hoping to see and be with you again
Wishing the best for you my lost friend
To hear you laugh one last time
I hope you know I tried to find those pictures Jordo.
Of us that night in Detroit with the Pressure Point
and I now feel the need to fly
and hide inside your loving arms
I swear I'd give the whole thing up for you.
I'm sorry, but these lyrics you wrote are pretty far off from the actual lyrics.
This is my favorite Misery Signals song. Perfect balance of brutality and melody. Can't get enough of it.
This album will always continue to amaze me. It's been what 14 years now?
16. Time flies right? 🤣
how does this video only have 129k views? this is one of my all-time favorite songs, and it totally helped shape my adolescence.
Still one of the best metalcore bands to ever exist. Period.

Just now hearing of this band and they’re dope!!
one of the best metalcx bands out there. unique, heavy yet melodic
I only learned of these guys last week by seeing their movie !
