    They raise interest rates, but then continue their obscene overspending and money printing. Such a mess

      They stopped printing money when they started hiking interest rates. That's the literal meaning of quantitative tightening.

      yes, my point being why go through this process if you will continue overspending and devaluing the dollar either way. It’s a mess, we wouldn’t be in this spot if our government could run a budget. On a personal note I've worked closely with my advisor to grow my portfolio from $200k to $4.8 million through stock trading because as a businessman, I prefer to invest my money rather than let it sit idle and lose value over time due to inflation.

      Despite the ups and downs in the stock market, you've managed to turn your investments into good profits. Could you share the name of your advisor? I have $300k saved up and ready to invest. Letting money sit idle isn’t my style as well, I’d rather put it to work and keep it growing.

Actually with housing and electricity and food and insurance you need actually like 25K more today than when this mess started. Most people did not get that - they are underwater.

    The most important thing everyone should think about right now is how to invest in different sources of income that are not dependent on the government. Especially given the current economic crisis around the world 🌍 . This is still a good time to invest in various stocks such as gold, silver and digital currencies, i would like to thank Steve Cohen for my crypto education...

      @@brettdavidson3866 Literally the president can only say what they want but the federal reserve does not have to follow what the rest of the government wants. They did that purposely in the 30s because of the great depression. So no the president can't change what the fed can do. The only thing they can do with the help of congress is spend money in new bills but not control how the flow of money and how much is circulating.

    Inflation has never stopped. Capitalism is the core of the United States. Competition keeps inflation going up and up and up. I have watched it closely since the 1960's. All the countries around the world who put tariffs on trade creates inflation in a competitive market. The government raises prices on imported goods and companies raise the prices more to make a profit but then variable cost of living difference across the nation changes prices again to make more profit. One item will be certain price in the south and in the north like New york prices will be 5 to 10 times more and they will put a sales price on it with a discount or rewards marketing for being a member like its a good deal. The economy in the US is about to be hit hard. Higher tariffs from china will cause many items in the US to skyrocket in price.
    Business can't turn a profit because prices are so high and people won't buy certain goods. People demand more money and there isn't enough to go around to stay floating. Millions of people will feel the effect in the months ahead. Business are closing and laying off everyday. Do not let your guard down for one minute. Jobs were created out of thin air for no reason just so people could make money. Look around at the economy in the US. How many people are working a job that isn't really needed with the technology we have today. President Biden wants America to stop importing and start creating when the US is in a financial crisis. Who is going to buy american products when the rest of the world is much cheaper on products. We did this to ourselves because we all are slaves to money. Money is a fabrication that doesn't really exist. Cost of living is what we all made it. Capitalism killed the United States. 100 trillion in US debt and 35 trillion is from the government. Thats insane after all the money america has made since the 1960's.

    Some invest for a long haul; some have inside info. some want quick fix like buying lottery tickets and some older Americans are desperate from quickly shrinking IRA, etc. Be careful not to equate the stock market with the state of economy. As long as groceries and gas bill are up, politicians can blow air all they want. Even the treasurers cannot escape politics. The first step is being independent starting from oil and gas.

    Borrowing ain’t the answer and you know it haha

  • @PoliticalChaos
    @PoliticalChaos 19 дней назад

    Lenders are disappearing everyday from defaults. As time progresses i suspect you will start seeing interest rates swinging based on the purpose of the loan. Interest rates could rise to 25% 50% or even 91% to limit access to borrowers and prevent further risk to the economy. I have seen it happen throughout my lifetime. Not all lenders are the same and not everyone will qualify even with good credit. Why do you think banks started removing personal lines of credit. Banks invest your money back into the economy. When you ask for money they are literally cash poor because your money is propping up the stock market. Most banks are insolvent until investments are sold. Banks use debt to cover your need for your own money and profit off your accounts. Capitalism has corrupted americans so bad they ignore the common sense stuff that is high risk. Stocks will tank, Crypto will tank, cost of living will be insane over fear. As people demand more money the crisis will only get worse in the world. If the United States doesn't abandon capitalism the entire economy will fail and millions of people will struggle on what to do when supplies are limited in the stores.
