Ross and his fucking pocket aces xD
Danny: "THE FUCK ROSS?!"
I literally just came down from the video to see what people wrote about his freaking pocket aces XD
+Madam Fakename what i couldn't tell is if he actually had them in his pocket, or if that was just his own hand that he put in and took out for the gag
+QuikVidGuy They were actually in his pockets XD IM CRYING ON THE FLOOR RIGHT NOW
+ljaquos best part of the whole fucking thing xD
+ljaquos I lost it! so badly i woke my brother up from laughing so hard! FUCK IT ALL ROSS!
I love Ross. He held onto those two aces the whole game, just waiting for someone to use the phrase "pocket aces," so he could whip them out like that. Amazing.
"He has pocket Aces, I can feel it"
"You mean like these ones?"
-
I literally couldn't fucking breathe after that. I had to pause the video for about 10 minutes to settle down from that joke. That fucking hilarious.
was that staged or did that happen randomly?? lmao
I'm pretty sure he had them in his pockets expecting someone to say he had aces in his pockets.
+Bek Heath
It's a very Ross move, so I can believe it.
Joseph Schultz true lol
Ross, what the hell?
I absolutely love Nick. He really ties this all together. A lot of people working with the Grumps for the first time would probably have a harder time adjusting to the swing of things, but he totally took the chaos in stride and handled it like a pro. Love that guy.
They should bring him back for another card game charity episode
"Ross has pocket aces, I can feel it."
"You mean these?"
"WHAT THE FUCK ROSS?"
So fucking funny.
Where in the video is this?
3:42
THAT PART FUCKING KILLED ME
"That could get you SHOT in some places!"
This is very true.
Ross being himself. I love him for that.
Dan:All in!
Ross: I got nothing
ROSS HAS A PAIR OF FIVES IN HIS HANDS
He threw the match
+JubioGaming yeah I think he's just throwing it so that he can keep playing like a maniac
Baron1170 4 I mean at one point he had a pair of fives and kept folding while smiling which you wouldnt expect someone to do if they genuinely thought they had a bad hand. Even danny wasnt smiling when he was dealt bad he laughed because they were making fun of ross saying he didnt know how to play poker (which doesnt make sense considering he beat almost all of them)
JubioGaming he doesn't know how to play. He's just got the greatest luck ever. EVER.
Baron1170 4 i know but still infuriating
The progression of Dan's hair is amazing
I like the ponytail and the 'sexy pirate'
Makenna Murphy the pineapple was good too
His hair has more character that Rey in starwars
It looked best at shoulder length IMO.
Someone says pocket aces
Ross: Like these?
I have died of laughter.
Rick Sure im not sure if the whole ross knows nothing is a joke or if he actually knows nothing and accepts it XD
Cj cathead I only just learned that apparently Ross actually has ADHD, which, HAH, well THAT would explain why the way he played Poker seemed so fucking FAMILIAR to me.
I can assure you now. He's not faking it. That is absolute sincere "haha uh hang on I forgot which two goddamn cards I had on my hand since I checked two seconds ago, by the way which game are we playing again?"
Fawriel pretty sure my brother has ADHD and hes not like that.
I guess there's different types, which, well, is pretty obvious really. I was just kind of too caught up in my excitement over stumbling upon someone who is so extremely like me that I didn't really consider that. =P
I agree with Fawriel, I'm pretty sure there are different types as well as different levels. I also agree with Fawriel on Ross's actions/behaviors during the game because from personal experience (I have ADHD as well), I'm definitely a lot like Ross in this video (forgetting things even when they've been explained to me a dozen times and such) except with a lot less luck XD
Ross meant either one of two things when he began throwing in the game by folding. Either:
1. He was being an awesome friend and letting Danny make an incredible comeback
or
2. The sadist inside of him wanted to torture everyone around him
+Crystal K I think he wanted Dan to come back slowly, have a fair fight then utterly crush him in front of everyone else. We're talking about Ross here.
Kuonluw true true XD he did seem pretty devastated that his plan had backfired on him so badly XD
+Crystal K It seems pretty clear that he blew it on purpose at first. But then later on, he wanted to get the last laugh by winning. But it backfired on him. Ross's desire to torture his friends and an entire audience of people led to his demise. His sadist nature got in the way of his own mind. He let his emotion overtake him, and thus, his plan failed.
In conclusion, I adore Ross, but also, fuck Ross.
+SkilesHasFun Ross is a fucking Sith, confirmed. Blinded by ego.
+Crystal K or he just sucks at poker which clearly is the case
I love it how serious the Dealer was in the beginning put at the end he just went with it. He was funny.
Dealer is new steam train member
Tim Toborne Nick the Slick!
You know that the humor is good when the freaking camera crew is laughing XD
List of people I won't play Poker with:
1. my Uncle
2. JonTron
3. Fucking Ross!
+Ruly Tasho why jontron?
MrMrjimbo96 if you watch all the episodes of Jontron you'll,or maybe some.
Ruly Tasho i watch a shit ton of jontron i imagine it would be hilarious to play poker with him
MrMrjimbo96 Then why are you asking? If you watch a shit ton of Jontron you should be able to get my reference
Ruly Tasho ok so maybe shit ton was pushing it i watch his eps once when they come out and that is monthly at this point so forgive me if i dont remember every little bit from each episdoe
Ross has a pair of 5s, Danny has nothing and has gone all in. The tension is high, all cards are on the table and Ross...! Folds. The game lasts another hour because of this and none of the game grumps or table flip crew would know until later that Ross could have ended the game early but wanted to have a longer game with his good friend Danny. God dammit Ross.
It wasnt that awful of a play honestly. There were two cards on the flop that were higher than his .
That is the one thing that pisses me off about Ross.He always ends up throwing the game.
Malkisoq Its because people give him so much shit for winning... I feel bad for Ross, everyone treats him like shit.
Bobby Bushtail I said this same exact thing last time this was posted on their channel.
Throwing the game would have required him to know anything about the game, which he didn't. He went in not knowing and learned nothing during, he had no idea if what he was doing was a good move or a bad one.
that dealer was a cool guy tho :D
***** they also said the game took about 7 hours
So truly true
Yet he's not in the description credits which is a bit weird.
***** hes doing it as part of the sponsorship advertised at the end of the video, so technically he (well the company he works for) is paying them for him to deal for them, he clearly has regrets lol xD
lemming3001 He seems to be enjoying himself, actually! He's a great straightman.
"I'm gonna fold cause he has pocket aces, I can feel it right now...I believe it" - Danny
*Ross reaches into pocket* - "Like these ones?"
"WTF ROSS?!" - Danny
"I feel like I have failed as a teacher," - Nick
XD I can't breathe right now, my side hurts so badly XD MEDIC!
💀
I really hope they revisit this again, this was definitely one of the best Tableflips :D
+Chris Carpenter you know from watching this that this will never happen ever again
+Chris Carpenter if it did happen again ross would not be allowed to play XD
As long as they bring Nick back as well. He was one of the many highlights, how he babied Ross and kept his chips right.
Haven't had a Tableflip in forever
What I hate is that Ross objectively doesn't know how to play poker but he does know how to play mind games, and he does that to the extreme for half of this series.
+Psycho Lama ross is a fucking genius man, he can bend anyone to his whim
He's just putting up a bluff
I love it, it's what really spiced this up for me. I'm 90% sure that's why everyone was flipping their shit. Ross was just toying with everyone and they realized it after a bit. He's a goddamn sociopath and it's beautiful to watch.
Gamerbids and this is why we love Ross, he does that shit to everyone and it's fucking hysterical
Lol mind games is like 50% of how poker is played though
Best fucking idea ever: Guest Grumps with Nick the Poker man.
I think my favorite parts throughout all of this series is the subtle sounds of the cameramen laughing...
Is no one gonna talk about how Ross had damn ace's in his pocket
tekatah mishioto He knew someone would say something about pocket aces, and wanted to pull them out when they said it as a joke.
cassi75474 Now I want to do this the next time I play Poker.
carry a gun
OH FUCK 50 +1's, WHAT IS EVEN GOING ON?
+Roy Bellafire So just like Cards Against Humanity.
Roos purposely lost to try to keep up his persona of a lovable idiot. He could have won easily and he knows it.
I think you have too much faith in Ross.
I think he just has bad hands.
Choco Tammy Ross threw the pair of 5s and was about to burst in laughter, he knows he could've won, and so does everyone else now too
Salazareo
He folded on the fives because HE DOESN'T KNOW WHAT DANNY HAS AND THOUGHT HE HAD A BETTER HAND.
kingvvk um what?
Laughed until I was in tears during Ross' "pocket aces" joke. X'D
First off, fantastic game. But seriously, props to the editor! Could not of done a better job!
Hell yah!
True!
I can't believe it took me 3 episodes to figure out those things are cameras.
I can't believe it took me a comment to realize that!
what things?
(EDIT) oh, those things.
Radioactive Kitty73 the hats?
Radioactive Kitty73 OH THOSE THINGS
where?
Ross, buddy, here in America if you pull double aces out of your actual pocket, you may get shot
+DJ66/DJ66YT The funny thing is he knew the jokes around poker but blanked on the actual rules
+Troy Ricks so when's the flop?
+DJ66/DJ66YT expecially of the same suite
+cowcrap *suit
+DJ66/DJ66YT Danny literally said that....
Ross: "Clearly I know how to play poker."
Dealer (for the umpteenth time this game): "I need your ante."
3:15 to 6:08 was just pure agony. I bet it would even be worse if the hands and face cards were displayed on screen. Cause i'm willing to bet Ross was getting good hands while Danny was getting shit hands that entire time.
The hands were displayed on screen. They pop up on the left side occassionally. And Ross totally was.
My god you people need to calm down it’s just a game! And I don’t care that this comment is 3 years old!
Am I the only one who loves it when I can hear the people in the background laugh?
Nick is such a bro. Way to take the world's worst game of poker in stride, man.
Ross instantly became one of my favourite people after he folded after he folded on the pair of 5s. He saw that he was genuinely upsetting his friends so he fell on his sword and gave danny a fair fight. He knows when to stop and help out and he was the mature about it as well, not being a sore loser. He wanted to see his friends happy and let them be mad at him and laugh at him to achieve that.
Like, watch the episode again, but imagine that ross is always thinking 'Ok, I ruined it, I stopped my friends from having a good time. I need to fix it.' Like, when danny looks off to the side and makes a face after Ross wins a hand, look at Ross' head. I'm will to bet that he wants Danny to win and feels guilty about taking his money and scared that everybody will be mad at him.
At the end he looks to happy, like a weight has been lifted. And after Danny hugged him, he immediately reverted back to being loud and obnoxious after keeping his head close to the table and making a lot of 'thinking' faces.
Kelsey Skaret Alright, slow it down, Jeremy Kyle.
Or he is a sadistic mastermind..
Dan: Ross, you don't know how to play poker.
Ross: Obviously, I DO.
Nick the Dealer: :grimaces like he's in utter agony:
-
Suzy: I wish we could play with Nick! I'd like to see Nick *ream* Ross.
Ross: I don't think I wanna see that.
Suzy: *I* wanna see that.
Barry: I would pay to see that.
Nick: :looking right into the camera, all suave-like: ... America?
Nick was such a fucking rock star in this episode. And yay - Danny wins! Ross can suck it.
Don't ruin it for everyone!
+Millicent Bodsworth it's massive spoilers
Millicent Bodsworth This episode is, like, a million years old. Deal with it. xp
Ruby Dynamite So what if it's old. You do realise that new people join everyday and haven't seen this before?
Millicent Bodsworth Too bad?
Pocket aces is at 3:40
Lexy Lily Thank you soo much
Only Ross could fuck up an advantage THAT BAD.
Goddamnit Ross.
He threw the game
Everyone is talking about the pocket aces thing and I'm just here like
TEXAS ROLL 'EM
damn. I want Nick to teach me how to play poker. He seems so cool but also like he'd be super patient with noobs like me.
Nebula Redwings he’s super patient with Ross, he would be HAPPY to teach any new players XD
One of my favorite Ross moments! The pocket aces killed me.
Nick is the best grump.
2:57 To quote Arin Hanson upon witnessing Sonic the Hedgehog make a loop despite being flung directly at it "WHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAT??"
I really want them to play D&D on table flip
Chris Kerr You do realize that game can take FOREVER right? These videos are typically about 20 minutes long and D&D can take hours, even days to finish one storyline. Don't get me wrong, I love D&D and Pathfinder, but I was in a game club my Senior year of high school and we met for about an hour or two a week and finished maybe... 3 or 4 quests, if that.
Sonicfan794 Don't even get started on game length, I had one in game week actually take 7 months of daily playing.
+Sonicfan794 There *are* one-offs you know? I've seen a few that only last like 3-4 hours for a short, fun story! It could totally work so long as they get the right DM.
Dan is a bard
"I WON!! I WON THE MONEY!!! THE MONEY IS MINE!!!!!"
I wonder if Nick had seen Game Grumps before. I want to see that moment when he's introduced to them like
"Hi, I'm Nick."
"Nice to meet you nick, I'm Danny Sexbang!"
"this is our Australian asshole, Ross!"
(jk you're pretty cool Ross)
GrumpFan LovesCats nick is a friend of theirs
3:43 That was the greatest thing ever, and you can't dispute this.
I want this on a shirt.
Anybody else get the feeling that Ross actually let Danny win? I mean there were numerous times that he could have taken Danny out, but just didn't.
I think it's more that Ross doesn't know how to play and when it came down to one-on-one that worked against him lol
I think Ross knows how to play as he is really smart.
+iSango5050
You obviously missed the part where Ross folded about 20 times in a row for pretty much no reason other than to build up Danny's cash.
He might not have let Danny win, but it's obvious that he wanted to have a fair fight with Danny.
Honestly kudos to the dealer for correcting and trying to teach poker while playing with Ross
Seeing Nick laugh is the best thing ever
People need to stop with the whole "They abuse Ross" they don't it's a joke and a lot of the times in the actual gameplay videos they don't. Ross also has fun with it so chill.
AliceRandomiscrazy In all honesty, wouldn't anyone react the same way to someone who is bad yet lucky at a game?
AliceRandomiscrazy
King Drake I know what you mean, my cousins are from Australia and they know how to go off.
AliceRandomiscrazy nice pic i love pikachu! X3
plant daddio I KNOW people are saying “oh they’re mean to Ross” and shit they need to stop! This video was made for fun and they were joking like you said! I totally agree with you!
'Pocket Aces'
God Ross, I love you.
They should of had pros at poker play against Ross
Sarah Gloria Even with sheer luck, Ross would be unlikely to stay in for very long
There is nothing more terrifying to a poker pro then a clueless noob he can't read.
Dan's slow transformation from street urchin to jaunty pirate.
That crying Danny at the end though. Especially the scream at 17:43. XD
Let's be frank, we all know who the real winner here is. The dealer dude. He's amazing.
Just slap this entire series with a giant "Danny Wins" and like a blown up pic of the latest NSP album cover.
When Ross literally pulled the aces out of his pocket..
ded
lol, Nick finally allowed himself to laugh in the end.
I know this is going to sound bad but I felt really bad when Ross was like putting his head down and said "What?"
17:26
"how long until the flop?"
awwww Ross threw the game purposely.
+Stephi Swift i don't think he did. i think that he legitimately cracked under pressure and lost.
+Stephi Swift Or, you know, maybe he doesn't know how to play the game. I personally think he threw it because he wanted to mess with Dan, and it came back to bite him in the ass, but ya never know.
Come on guys let me have this moment Lordofzeldafed Rachel Lee
He definitely threw the game. Ross is an awesome guy, and this game was entertaining all throughout, but he doesn't have a very good poker face if you know what I'm saying.
+uknownada yeah because he knew dan had nothing and he double 5s
Ross could have ended the game with that simple pair of 5s, Danny didn't have shit
But being in his position, it was a difficult stance due to the picture cards
jjhu04 Yeah, I was meaning as a viewer
@@jjhu04 Yeah that ace is scary
Props to Nick the Poker Dealer for being so patient and friendly with the Grumps. He was very professional and still lightened up enough to have a good time with everybody. Hope he’s doing well!
All these people up in arms over the fun the rest of the table was having with Ross...
You do know he didn't know what he was doing, right? Beginners luck was what made him almost win, and that wouldn't have made for an interesting series. So what if friends have a joke here and gang up on the "king" of the game at any given time? I know my friends and i do that. And Ross can take it. He knows his friends mean well.
Dan winning with a 7-2 offsuit, probably the worst starting hand in texas hold'em.
It is, statistically.
Wow... Anybody else feel like Ross is actually a master at the game? Also, pocket aces I am replaying this so many times.
He gave up the pair of 5s that would've given him the game.
+Artur Araújo He did that to prolong the game.
That Pocket Aces joke was fucking hysterical.
Ross is the real hero.
The rug of the team
The poker dealer is fucking gold he's amazing
Either Dan Jewed Ross out of his money, or Ross threw the game like a boomerang.
*starts playing bass*
Y'know, I come to these comment sections to find happiness but just end up finding racism and hatred. I think I've had all I can take from this world...
*tsst tit tit tsst tit tit tsst*
hey, at least you're not black
*Badum dum dum dum dum...*
VharGames well then that's umm
Or Ross is just really really bad at poker. Judging from the footage I'm going with my theory.
God-damn stereotypes lol
I fucking loved the dealer in this series. Seriously. That guy made this.
Man, I wish they brought this kind of format back, so much fun to watch them having fun with all this games all together. I'm rewatching all table flip episodes two times a year when I really need it, always saving me, truly thankful for them
Really nice editing in all of these videos, the audio all to sync up and all of the camera angles
say what you want but I suspect Ross let Danny win
I hope I'm not the only person who thinks it's both poetically hilarious and statistically beautiful that Danny won the game with what is considered the worst possible hand one could be dealt: specifically a 7 and 2.
So mean to Ross, make fun of him because he doesn't know how to play, get mad at him for winning anyway-- then he starts trying to act like he knows, and and starts folding hands to not win so much, and that pisses them off too.
I mean, I know someone said they had 7 hours of footage (I don't know how accurate that actually was). And I even understand that someone can be super annoying, but jeez, cut him some slack. Ross is the underdog, through and through.
+elvensith001 I see what you're saying about intentionally losing, but Ross himself has said he's a sadist. He threw a handful of games, but it wasn't out of guilt or camaraderie, it was straight up to make Danny more hopeful and confident so when that when he, Ross, won, the victory would be an even bigger middle finger to Danny (and everyone else). I will say Ross isn't evil, but he's not exactly an "underdog."
He was folding hands when he could of checked, a thousand times. He legitimately had no idea what was going on the entire game. Barry was the only one who knew how to play but got fucked because everyone was just making it chaos. Ross didnt throw the game.
Please tell me you guys were scripting this... It's on the verge of bullying towards the end! It's ok Ross
Seems like someone doesnt understand the concept of "friends"
Gore6194ever I dunno man, he looked pretty sad towards the end. Was getting a bit cringy.
J SAUNDERS Ross knows they are joking. Thts how they interact with each other
Gore6194ever I hope so. :)
He can take because he's the hero we deserve. Just not the one we need right now.
Holy Shit Ross really doesn't know how to play. He could have won it with that pair of 5's
he did it on purpose, its like a predator that plays with his victim
And this is why Goddammit Ross.....
João Pedro The predator stumbles. then he becomes prey.
he threw the game
James Heitmann It's obvious he threw the game, he may not be the best poker player, he may even be a novice, but even knows a pair of 5's a good starting hand.
I'm pretty sure ross let Danny win... Maybe he isn't satan incarnated after all
He is Satan, he was extending the lenght of the torture
Ali Beltran do you not remember the Mario maker levels?!
I have to say, I loved watching Ross in this series. Danny may have won, but Ross was the real MVP, at least for me.
Old fashion games, and new fashion friends! Come on everyone this is ROSS WINS EVERYTHING!
..oh wait.
i think
ross just wanted to play with danny
I am so glad that they put Table Flip back on the channel (even if it was only for the Poker episode, but I hope it stays a thing) and what a game to bring it back with! This 3-part was one of the greatest things I have seen on this channel! I cracked up every time they got the dealer to start laughing, since he tried so hard to stay professional the whole game.
Honestly, this poker series ALONE cements for me how much I want to meet all of these guys, even if it was just a short while. Everyone in the Grump family seem so genuine and they all get along so well it's goddamn heartwarming.
Here's to you, Game Grumps:
Arin, with his zany humour and infectious laughter
Danny, with his loveable personality and glorious Jew-fro
Barry, with his sharp wit and editing prowess
Suzy, with her bright bubbly attitude and eye for artistry
Ross, with his goofy antics and vocal talents
Kevin, with his youthful optimism and own degree of editing skills
Holly, with her warm personality and love of all things birb
Brian, with his "team dad" mentality and wonderful companionship with Dan
And yes, even you Jon ;) (E C H)
So from the bottom of my heart, thank you, Game Grumps. You're all amazing, funny, talented people who's content has helped me through some of the toughest parts of my life, and I hope to personally thank each and every one of you for staying true to that and being wonderful people.
Til the next video crosses my dash, House of Grump.
- Ross :)
Ross is so passive I mean there's joking then there's just tearing him apart constantly and him never ever joking back.
I haven't laughed this hard since Arins' "up-dog" joke. We need more Nick.
Please, more Texas Hold'em videos with The Game Grumps and the same dealer. This was awesome! I needed more of these I'm my life.
Nick the dealer seemed like a nice dude :)
Nick for Guest Grumps?
Dan hugging ross was v cute
Love Nick! He kept the game flowing while also being super entertaining while just being the dealer.
I might send you guys special poker chips made entirely out of heat treated steel and each value of chip has a different color from the heat treatments i.e. (5) value is Full blue (25) value is Dark Purple (50) value is Light Purple (100) value is Deep straw-yellow/gold color (500) value is Spotted red-brown and (1000) value is Brown-purple and all this so you can play more poker with the man who doesn't know how!!!......Dammit Ross.....
Who can one not love Ross xD
How*
No. Who.
Ross is so good at making people feel bad for his loss at the end... XD it's amazing. He's like a hurt, yet adorable, puppy...
This is the second time I've watched this and it's even funnier the second time.
Working at a casino, you see players like Ross every day and it never gets old.
I adore it.
Ross couldn't handle the pressure of winning by a landslide.
Ross with power is a monster
a clumsy one! löl
There's too many videos. I CANT COMPREHEND THIS MANY GAMEGRUMPS VIDEOS IN ONE DAY!
I know right its awesome
Trust me if you are new its really not
Ross: pulls aces out of pocket
Everyone: *exeptence*
How does this poker match not have more views? This was one of the most tense experiences I've been witness to on the channel.
That poor dealer.
For anyone wondering, the dealer's name is Nick Amado.
I thought he was hilarious, thanks. xD
Shaniq307 No problem.
Hey guys, I love your videos so much! From game grumps to steam train, steam rolled to table flip you guys never cease to make me laugh until I'm crying and holding my sides to stop them from splitting open. I really want to do what you guys do for a living, but that's besides the point. I was wondering if there'll be any more new episodes of tableflip. This one, poker, is my favorite out of all besides cards against humanity, but this was 6 months ago. I'd love to see more of the show, so please reply. Thanks so much for what you guys do, and please, keep going. Can't wait to watch the next game grumps! ^w^
I've been Ross in so many games/gatherings. Let me tell you: he's on the verge of crying. It's when you act your way to a point where if you speak whatever, you're hated, if you laughs, no one will laugh together (unless it's a groupal relief), if you joke, no one will pick up on it. You have nothing left but to stay quiet with a sad smile. It's not the losing, it's being in that space that gets you on the verge of crying.
