Whenever im feeling really down, like, when you just feel so lost that you dont know where to go or what to do. Watching peter always makes me happy again. It just really really helps, alot. Thank you for being there when your needed peter, most likely youll never know just how much it means, and thats fine. I just wanted to express myself.
What a nice thing to say 😊he is entertaining.
You're not alone bud, I do the same. I've also found that having one of his vids on when doing homework is nice too. Not as distracting as music is (at least for me bc I'm a musician), and not quite like asmr either (not saying asmr is bad or people shouldn't watch it).

Peter - "if I make a mistake In one of my videos, so long as I'm recording it I don't get upset"
Bachelor Pie flashbacks and Peter's scream of horror intensifies.
Haha true
@@peter_draws loved the video keep up the great work : )
hahahahah oo yeah, the pie crust! :D I could feel the hurt through the camera
I had to stop watching this video to look up what video you where talking about hahaha. It's was hilarious.
One of the most intriguing things about ✨Peter✨ is that I can’t quite wrap my head around his personality. It’s just something I’ve never seen before and I can’t ever get enough of it! The only “healthy” obsession I have lol
Right?! Like at times he seems like an indie hipster or honestly kind of sassy or kind of emo like he has LAYERS and hes just a highly interesting person I think
I mean I think people watching can be a healthy obsession when it has you appreciate others more :)
literally haha
This is a true introvert. He's openly awkward but holds back verbalizing true emotions. While also being overly honest about the trains of thoughts that he does express, without withholding on those. Now I don't know if he is socially awkward, but, based on other people who I've met like him, he probably is. Not that he's antisocial, but very much "anti" socializing standards. In other words, he is just himself. :)
Peter exudes the energy of someone related to Steve from Blue's Clues. A cousin perhaps.
I relate him to Fred Rodgers a bit.
@@hellhander late to the party but, yeah, I see both for sure.
My own kneejerk reaction was to wonder if he has aspbergers, after watching a bit I still can't tell if its an act or not.
the rules for sponsorships are actually pretty interesting. answers a lot of questions i didn't know i had
*we had
@@ViciousTwistX ^This^
they're actually just basically guidelines because they don't get enforced. like at all
@@softhusky they aren't guidelines. anything that is an ad or paid product placement is required by law to be disclosed to us, but the influencers run wild on Instagram, Tiktok, social media etc and rarely ever fully disclose their endorsements to us, the followers or the IRS.
@@ViciousTwistX Oh, I am sure they disclose to IRS. No downside to that, but huge issue of not declaring income.
thx peter for always keeping both funky and fresh in those intros, I appreciate it
Wow...I said, "there's no way I'm watching an hour and twelve minute video this morning." And here I am just finishing it up...enthralling...what a great set of drawings. Thank you Peter!
The way Peter draws Peter's "draws", draws my attention to Peter.
Groundbreaking. I- I'm speechless, and I'm never speechless
I know it'll never happen, but I'd love a collab between Peter Draws and Jazza. The juxtaposition between their personalities would be hilarious.
Jazza is such a money hungry goon and really not worth watching anymore. His channel was a great place to learn and grow as an artist but now it's a "look at the expensive stuff I can afford that _you_ can't"
Agreed
"...I do have a real treat for you today!" Last time he said that, we were introduced to Sog Dogs. What glorious thing will we be treated to this time?
Edit: Jedd the Zombie Sock Puppet
Not as edible, but five times the fun. Oh, for the love of sog dogs.
that was the best sponsored segment ever, not gonna lie
I thought I couldn't possibly like this man any more until I saw his yellow nail polish. An absolute delight! I'm a new fan but I've been loving your videos!!
does anyone else here watch Peter Draws 70% for the insightful commentary and 30% for the drawing?
i think at first i started watching him for the drawing, but i have shifted to deriving greater enjoyment from listening to him ramble as i've gotten to know him through all his antics, quality showmanship, and quaint sense of humor
Sometimes I don't even watch and treat it like a podcast
Love his cup..has similar recepticle taste 🤓🤪 "Smokey" 🤩
PenPorn Lullaby 😂
I thought it said ..10 Peters, 10 Inks.. "but there's only 1 Peter!?" - he exclaimed; I exclaimed.

Nice job! Thanks legionwkd
Great eye 👍
Thank you!
the specific model is F10
"True colors" came from pigments, so the absorption or reflections of the photons occur inside the molecule of a substance ( i.e mustard yellow), others colors in nature came from the interaction of the light waves in nano sized physical structures like very thin transparent objects (i.e. soap bubble, some birds feeders, insects skin etc). I think that special pigment is talking about that.
And there are artificial colors too, that is made from mixing single wave length that are combined in ours retines to make it looks like a "real" color (color monitors).
If you want to understand more, look for the videos "Why Is Blue So Rare In Nature" from
"It's Okay To Be Smart" channel and "Why you can't take a good picture of a rainbow" from Steve Mould.

I'd like to express my gratitude for inspiring me on a few different levels. First off, I spilt a splash of tea on the counter and before I wiped it up, I saw the beginning of creation in it, I could never draw but I'm going to give it another try. I love how you said, that you are the pen. I took that to mean that you just let creativity flow through you. So, when I say, "I can't draw", it occured to me that maybe the "I" is my problem. I'm going to practice that... just getting out of the way. Next, I've been watching your videos pretty much straight for the last week and a half, day and night. At first, I was fascinated by your ability to draw. You draw the way a bird flies. Then, I listened to your old podcasts and again was fasinated. I like how you don't whine about life being unfair or strut your opinions on anything really. You don't pull any emotional triggers. You seem to embody the philosophies of the new age gurus on RUclips. Keep it simple and be in the moment. They preach it, making millions but, don't really seem to know how to practice it. Arrogance just radiates from them. The humility is a nice break as well as an example for me. I am also touched the way you appreciate other people's art work and gifts, so gracious. Thank you for your uploads. Your channels are truly a blessing to me. I'm sorry I went on for so long but, I've already edited this way too many times.
peej m this was a super interesting comment!
@@rainastor4789 Thank you for that, I wasn't sure whether or not to post it. I thought about it all day. ; )
Late to the party peej, but your comment was what I needed today. Beginning a journey to learn to draw, and loved what you shared...inspired and reassured me as I take the leap.
I just ate pancakes for breakfast and I just wanted to tell you that Peter
Same! :)
Hannah L same 🙌💕
@Foxy Cherryblossom - Your NAME sounds delicious! 💋🍭🤓
Peter. I have never watched a video on RUclips that was an hour long. But. I could not stop watching. Good job, Peter.
Peter playing with post it notes on his fingers is hilarious 🤣
Ikr, it was so out of nowhere it had me dying 🤣
Noodler’s really brings it with the colors. Every time I see a new (to me) color, I’m blown away by its uniqueness.
I'm mad, you've been in my algorithm for like a year now, & I've been watching your content. I've always figured I was subbed because of how often you showed up in my feed. But apparently, I never was. So anyways I subbed, here's to a million sub-goal peter! *raises beer*
i thought the tiny dessert thing was an eraser and i thought peter had finally lost all traces of sanity when he ate it...
I must say, you are my most favourite channel on youtube. Your drawing process is so therapeutic and nice to follow, it really reminds me of being "in the zone" how it embodies the concept of "flow". I love how we never fixates on the subject of the drawing but focus more on the line art and the ink and the pen. Your commentary is also interesting and fun to listen to. It's like you're doodling with your words.
You missed the opportunity to make this video ten hours long
And an ASMR video with all the pen sounds.
hahahahaha,,,,,
Peter* "this posted note isn't orange "
Me* you right, that's yellow
Also you right about colors in general
The day is always better when peter uploads! Always get inspired to draw watching the channel
Also, my favorite ink is Organics Studio Nitrogen. It constantly blows my mind,
Vivid royal blue with bright red sheen. It has a problem that it NEVER seems to actually dry, though.
Good golly you're seriously the best. I thoroughly enjoy your personality and humor. Fantastic as always.
I think that the mystery pen might be one of the unbranded, eye-dropper converted Platinum Preppies that used to come packaged in with the Noodler's eyedropper bottles
Oh it could be, I think it did come with a piston converter, but i took it out and couldn’t get it back in
The nib is like a preppy but nothing else about it is
love the yellow nail polish!!!!
Here's to hoping I can watch the whole video before Hurricane Laura destroys my electricity. 😔 🍷
Keep us posted 😊
Stay safe !!!! I feel so bad for people living down in Texas and where ever else the hurricane is effecting people. I heard the flooding is going to be like 9 feet in some of the worst areas. That’s awful!
I hope you are staying safe!! It’s really unfortunate how 2020 has been such a mess. I’ll be praying for you bud. God Bless 👍🏻
Replying to my own stuff but, I am alive and with internet once more. \o/
@@vermillion1735 glad you made it through ok lol, it was a crazy storm huh
For some reason at the beginning I really thought you were going to say "I'm Peter and these are my drawers" .
This video was very satisfying and I love the choice of nail colour.
I have the clear pen that he introduced last. It's a generic one from Aliexpress.
Watching him is so soothing. Been having quite a rough time but this video made me so happy!!♡
I've drawn abstract and strange things my whole life and the more I do while watching you the more I see my art picking up after yours, it's great, those were some beautiful pieces
first video i’ve watched, at first i’m thinking what is this guy on?! and now i’m obsessed and can’t stop watching! love your voice lol it’s making me fall asleep now i know what to watch when i have troubles sleeping
Every time I watch a Peter Draws video, it makes me wanna take my life.. in an artistic direction. Peter, you’re an inspiration to myself and a lot of other people. Love your videos!
Scared me there for a second friend
noodler's founder, nathan tardiff, names most of his inks after patriotic things. baltimore canyon blue was originally made for a pen convention in baltimore, so he chose something baltimore-themed to name it after.
Good to know
Helicopters do have rotors. Most have a tail rotor to counteract the massive torque from the main rotor and to control yaw. Some have a ducted jet doing that job.
Some helis have two contra-rotating rotors on top, meaning no need to correct yaw. Or, of course, like the Chinook etc, two separated main rotors each end of the fuselage.
Oh yeah that Chinook is cool
I found the information about the sponsors actually interesting, also I really like your hair at the length it is now for what my opinion matters. Thank you for the content my friend!
I LOVE how you ate the treat. Perfect. Saved the sprinkles, then ate the 'dessert' from the dessert first!
Forgetting to recored can’t be worse than the bachelor pie incident 😊
It will be a while before that level of anguish is reached again. That look.
Both the TWSBI Eco and Navajo Turquoise are sooooo underrated
18:15 I love the quick voguing sesh. You were serving hands and face, Peter!
Peter, I love your sense of humor, and so enjoy your fabulous drawings. Please keep them coming!
Looking at Peter's merch and really appreciating how reasonably priced it is. Unlike some "famous" people selling complete trash for a fortune.
You know, Peter is one of few that can keep me hooked on every word, for HOURS, without having to be loud and overwhelming.
Just FYI, ALH84001 means it was the first catalogued meteorite from the Allan Hills formation in 1984.
Love your work!
Thanks! Very interesting
We will sleep well tonight! Thanks for one hour video
Peter's videos are just so relaxing. I can move around and be doing things while listening, but as soon as I sit down I'll be too loose-limbed and relaxed to truly move.
I got one of the LAMY pens recently (in green) and I absolutely love it. Addicted to writing and doodling with it.
I started giving my pens names because it helps me calm down to blame the pens when I have problems. All of my clear Noodler's are called 'Chuck'. I've been thinking about getting some colorverse inks, especially the mars set. I just spent about 2 hours cleaning a bunch of my demonstrators the other day too.
I've been playing with some water soluble inks lately, especially some sheening/duochrome type inks that will split up and that's kind of fun. You might like to try it. You can do it on yupo paper but it takes a LOOOOONG time to dry but the sheen stays.
I like some buttery pens but I also like that feedback sometimes of the scritching. I had a good convo with viewers on reddit today about how much more likely I am to make smooth/curved lines or long lines with buttery nibs and the ones that give me more feedback I want to be more loose with and more jagged.
As far as Noodler's inks- It's all named by Nathan. He loves Baltimore and he loves politics. Check out his youtube sometime, it's wild. He talks directly about the names of the inks.
Damnit I wasn't gonna buy any more ink but that purple bruh
Haha, that is an interesting idea to name the pens, and that multiple pens share one name!
@@peter_draws Well, I call the clear demos 'Chuck' like '2 buck chuck', because I have so many of them, so the name is like Blue Chuck, Orange Chuck just depending on what ink I have in them. Sorry I edited. I was typing while working and adding lol.
The fancier pens have more elegant names and the workhorse pens like my Lamy have names like Henry. My new TWSBI Emerald Green is 'The Wizard' but I've yet to find a name for the Prussian Blue one. The Eco grey is 'Erle'
Lovely Peter! I do recall back in the days of trying my hand at calligraphy, the oils from a person's hands can cause the bleeding of ink on your paper. Fun and enjoyable to see you go thru so many inks and pens! I really do enjoy listening to your calm voice. Thanks so much for sharing your skills and talents. Made for a lovely afternoon. Love you dear.
Love the fun colors in this one!
Peter,
The Cardinal Kestrel Ink bottle is showing a baseball diamond with the Red Cardinal at large in the centre (a bird that kills other birds like a Kestrel would as a bird of prey!) surrounded by other baseball teams named after birds... Baltimore Orioles (orange and black), Toronto Blue Jays (Blue) and Cardinals of St Louis.
Well put together if you ask me!
I just really love when your videos are long. Tysm Peter
This man is the embodiment of anxious confidence.
Hey peter, really appreciate the extra-length video, its kinda cool to have on while Im drawing even if what im drawing is very different than your usual doodles.
holy s*hit... over an hour video?! Hell yeah :D
So excited. I need a new pen. Im sure this will choose for me.
very much appreciate the full, stroke by stroke recording as opposed to the other channels mentioned 👍 thanks for the share

After the guy brought it up, I have been wanting u to say “I’m peter and I draws” in every video like u did that one time
I love this channel so much. So much talent and so comforting.
Thanks for the positivity, I really, really needed that tonight. You never cease to provide good vibes and unique interesting art. Thank you again, have a great day Peter
i have to say, this video gives me Bob Ross Vibes.
The careful drawing, Peter talking and explaining the inks and fountain pens.
it just really feels satisfying
Peter Draws is the Bob Ross of fountain pens
I totally needed your silliness today to make me smile. Did not at all expect the super fab claws from the post it notes. Glad I clicked on this video.
Hi Peter!
Just wanted to let you know I'm loving these types of videos with many pens!
If you are wondering to do this with other pens or writing utensils, I personally would love that!
Love the great work.
absolutely loved the comments on 400 hour artwork, so true, and, if the first person to invent the wheel said no one else could make wheels, well, that would be very boring, we need pens, and wheels
I love the way that you say drawing it’s so unique
Peter, I drew with a pen tonight for the first time in at least two years. It felt really good. You make me feel optimistic about getting back into art, its a kick that I needed. Thank you so much, I appreciate your content more than I could possibly explain in a single comment. I hope to send you some mail, one day. Much love from NY.
These videos bring me so much peace. Thanks for being unapologetically yourself
I enjoyed the video, thank you. I recommend 68 gsm Tomoe River or Rhodia when using fountain pens. Your inks will look there best on these papers and they will help with bleed through/ghosting. My favorite ink brands are Sailor, Bungubox, and Diamine.
Love that art installation in Lebauer Park. Laid on the grass underneath it and watched it blowing in the wind when I visited from across the pond. Very sanative!
Just got to the end of your video cause I split watching into two sessions. Really enjoyed this adventure and the different inks and the different styles and the nails. Lot of time and effort gone into this for us... Thanks Peter! Also it's good to see you entirely stressless about the escapee ink blots, that taught me something cause I rather liked them splatted there in the end. 😊
Watching this elegant man talk about pens and drawing after a hangover or a bad day just hits diff. Hidden gem of the world
From watching Peter's vids I have purchased a lamy safari, a twisbi mini and a moonman C1 and love them all.
Just finished watching. Great VDO Peter!
I love you🤗 thank you for spreading joy through your videos❤️❤️
Thank you peter, don't change for anyone. Don't change ur vibe just because you hit one million subs. We like you because of who you are right now!
Thought it might be interesting for you to know that I’m watching this while recovering from surgery. It’s been an uncomfortable one so far. The anesthesia has made my muscles very painful. Anyway thought you might wanna know Peter. That’s videos are very comforting even when In terrible pain.
Hope you’re feeling better😉
I can’t wait to see you with a million subscribers. You deserve it. You are honest, tenacious and inspirational. If I could subscribe again and again, I would.
Peter. You are so talented. And you never fail to make me smile.
Love those all so much. You're awesome Peter. The border colors complement the sequence very nicely. It has gotta get another go! Here's to a million. Hazah!
I just made an Instagram for the specific reason of following you and a couple of my favorite guitars. Love being able to scroll through your work for inspiration
Your art is awesome and I love watching your videos.
Watching this in the middle of the night with no sound has really been an interesting experience
OMG you saved my life today! Thank you for drawing and talking. You are the BEST
Amazing Peter, thank you for that ❤️
I watched your video while I sewed a Rendr paper sketchbook together for Inktober. Two enjoyable activities at the same time makes me feel like I'm getting a handle on my time management.
I watched while cutting fabric for masks to give to people at my college!
I swear to god, you videos are getting better and better each time.👍👍👍 I am so glad I subscribed.
This is a great concept, loving it
Ordered my Moonman Mini cause of your video :0) I like THICK pens because of my years as a caricature artist at disney and working with big markers. So the Mini looks like a really fun fit for me! Thanks for your videos!
Your the coolest bro keep going your at 900,000 subscribers for a reason that's not an easy task to accomplish so hats off to you my man. Thanks for all the videos. 👍✌🤙
Peter is so innocently random, I LOVE IT!!
Some Noodler’s inks write so wet it’s insane. I just got a bottle of Lexington Grey and it makes my F pens write almost broad. Probably my favorite ink brand tbh
Thanks for having the times and names for each pen in the description
Tokyo Gift - Japan gave the U.S. a bunch of cherry blossom trees, which are planted in Washington D.C. They only bloom for a little bit each year and there are often little festival events that occur. They are very pretty and they are the tree that is shown on the bottle.
Someone actually knows the story of the cherry trees. I believe Theodore Roosevelt was president. I think it was because TR brokered a peace between Japan and Russia around 1905.....? The Japanese sent the trees as a gift. I was in third grade when I learned this in history class. Third grade was a few decades ago.
You honestly draw like I would dream of drawing. Your art is amazing.
