"True colors" came from pigments, so the absorption or reflections of the photons occur inside the molecule of a substance ( i.e mustard yellow), others colors in nature came from the interaction of the light waves in nano sized physical structures like very thin transparent objects (i.e. soap bubble, some birds feeders, insects skin etc). I think that special pigment is talking about that. Just hit the golden button pushing peter immediately into the live rounds for that puppet segment.... I’m a huge demonstrator fan and love this video. Bonus!! 11 drawings......ROFL....the claws sidebar., PURE PETER!!.... #5, I’ll title “Erik”.....just Erik!...really do like that purple or ..not? Purple ink.....anyway, that purple sheen it gives off is quite delightful on the eye. Ahhhhh, an hour + of relaxation...just what the dr ordered!
I watched your video while I sewed a Rendr paper sketchbook together for Inktober. Two enjoyable activities at the same time makes me feel like I'm getting a handle on my time management.
Just found your channel- I’ve been on a long “break” from art because of life issues but when I saw the first drawing being made I just knew I had to pick it back up.
Helicopters do have rotors. Most have a tail rotor to counteract the massive torque from the main rotor and to control yaw. Some have a ducted jet doing that job. Some helis have two contra-rotating rotors on top, meaning no need to correct yaw. Or, of course, like the Chinook etc, two separated main rotors each end of the fuselage.
I enjoyed the video, thank you. I recommend 68 gsm Tomoe River or Rhodia when using fountain pens. Your inks will look there best on these papers and they will help with bleed through/ghosting. My favorite ink brands are Sailor, Bungubox, and Diamine.
I can’t wait to see you with a million subscribers. You deserve it. You are honest, tenacious and inspirational. If I could subscribe again and again, I would.
I started giving my pens names because it helps me calm down to blame the pens when I have problems. All of my clear Noodler's are called 'Chuck'. I've been thinking about getting some colorverse inks, especially the mars set. I just spent about 2 hours cleaning a bunch of my demonstrators the other day too. I've been playing with some water soluble inks lately, especially some sheening/duochrome type inks that will split up and that's kind of fun. You might like to try it. You can do it on yupo paper but it takes a LOOOOONG time to dry but the sheen stays. I like some buttery pens but I also like that feedback sometimes of the scritching. I had a good convo with viewers on reddit today about how much more likely I am to make smooth/curved lines or long lines with buttery nibs and the ones that give me more feedback I want to be more loose with and more jagged. As far as Noodler's inks- It's all named by Nathan. He loves Baltimore and he loves politics. Check out his youtube sometime, it's wild. He talks directly about the names of the inks. Damnit I wasn't gonna buy any more ink but that purple bruh
@@peter_draws Well, I call the clear demos 'Chuck' like '2 buck chuck', because I have so many of them, so the name is like Blue Chuck, Orange Chuck just depending on what ink I have in them. Sorry I edited. I was typing while working and adding lol. The fancier pens have more elegant names and the workhorse pens like my Lamy have names like Henry. My new TWSBI Emerald Green is 'The Wizard' but I've yet to find a name for the Prussian Blue one. The Eco grey is 'Erle'
Your the coolest bro keep going your at 900,000 subscribers for a reason that's not an easy task to accomplish so hats off to you my man. Thanks for all the videos. 👍✌🤙
Decided to get 2 different Moonman pens, the S5 with 3 nib sizes and a pocket travel cellulose with a regular metal nib and interchangeable glass nib. I know you didn’t demo those particular pens but figured they would work fine if the others do. For ink I picked J. Herbin Emerald of Chivor for its many hues. I loved the one you demonstrated called Photon and while I’m not getting that color I’ve gone ape over several Colorverse inks! They are delicious to look at with all their shimmering glitz and glory. Thanks for taking me on your journey to discovery and joy of pens and inks. It’s a pleasure listening to you chatting away while drawing, meditative. I tend to hum made up stuff when I draw without music on so I guess we all have something unique to us when deep in creative work and I’m glad you can share so much while doing yours.
Hey peter, really appreciate the extra-length video, its kinda cool to have on while Im drawing even if what im drawing is very different than your usual doodles.
Thank you! My favorite was the Martin Purple and the Stars and Stripes! Loved the shimmer! Sleep well. I bet you have dreams where you are doing ink drawings! 😳
Just got to the end of your video cause I split watching into two sessions. Really enjoyed this adventure and the different inks and the different styles and the nails. Lot of time and effort gone into this for us... Thanks Peter! Also it's good to see you entirely stressless about the escapee ink blots, that taught me something cause I rather liked them splatted there in the end. 😊
I know he said he's not going to do anything crazy to celebrate the big 1mil, but those fabulous nails had me thinking, with all the unhinged and buckwild custom nail art that people do, I'd love to see Peter get customs that are different types of pens 💅✒️

Wow you just pop that art out of your head onto the page on the fly🤯🤯🤯 that's amazing man jeez!
Ordered my Moonman Mini cause of your video :0) I like THICK pens because of my years as a caricature artist at disney and working with big markers. So the Mini looks like a really fun fit for me! Thanks for your videos!
I can't put my finger on why exactly, but I have become very fond of you Peter. I feel like you're doing a good job! Thanks.
Forgetting to recored can’t be worse than the bachelor pie incident 😊
It will be a while before that level of anguish is reached again. That look.
I watched your video while I sewed a Rendr paper sketchbook together for Inktober. Two enjoyable activities at the same time makes me feel like I'm getting a handle on my time management.
I watched while cutting fabric for masks to give to people at my college!
It was good hearing you talk about your issues with food, you need to get it out and I hope everything goes well for you as you move forward!
In fact, Peter , your voice sounds lusious..so no matter what commentary you narrate, yr soothing accent can illustrate recipe s for kingdom come 🤪💜
Just found your channel- I’ve been on a long “break” from art because of life issues but when I saw the first drawing being made I just knew I had to pick it back up.
Oh yeah that Chinook is cool
I enjoyed the video, thank you. I recommend 68 gsm Tomoe River or Rhodia when using fountain pens. Your inks will look there best on these papers and they will help with bleed through/ghosting. My favorite ink brands are Sailor, Bungubox, and Diamine.
I got one of the LAMY pens recently (in green) and I absolutely love it. Addicted to writing and doodling with it.
These videos bring me so much peace. Thanks for being unapologetically yourself
I swear to god, you videos are getting better and better each time.👍👍👍 I am so glad I subscribed.
Haha, that is an interesting idea to name the pens, and that multiple pens share one name!
I never realized how high quality your camera was because you're usually in the dark. That outside footage looked really nice!
You have such a calming voice when you do these videos. It chills me right out. Time for a nap?
OMG you saved my life today! Thank you for drawing and talking. You are the BEST
We will sleep well tonight! Thanks for one hour video
Loved the little intro with the post it notes
Nice color
Great paper,
The energies to
Do,
Doodle,
That's good
Thanks for having the times and names for each pen in the description
Just FYI, ALH84001 means it was the first catalogued meteorite from the Allan Hills formation in 1984.
Love your work!
Thanks! Very interesting
Man. Those binging feelings were way too relatable... good on you for working on healthier living.
holy s*hit... over an hour video?! Hell yeah :D
I see Peter is doing longer videos these days. Im loving it a lottt
I know he said he's not going to do anything crazy to celebrate the big 1mil, but those fabulous nails had me thinking, with all the unhinged and buckwild custom nail art that people do, I'd love to see Peter get customs that are different types of pens 💅✒️
I just really love when your videos are long. Tysm Peter
Binging Peter again. I miss watching these im glad the algorithm returned me to this gem
