I'm 65 years old and I grew up eating squirrels. My grandparents used to go squirrel hunts and bring home gobs of them. Pan-fried squirrels and squirrel and dumplings are the two best ways to consume them.
this is the greatest TV show in PBS in Texas
Thanks amigo.
Damm ANDY REID 2:34 left the KC Chiefs and the NFL to become a park ranger !!! good for him 🤣🤣
The best squirrel hunting is in East Texas along the Trinity River and the Neches River. My grandfather and his friend just go out in a station wagon, walk around, and come home with over 80 squirrels from one day hunt, NOT USING DOGS!!!!!!! These guys are making so much racket with their dogs and every squirrel and half the county will be hiding in fear. And yes you go hunting in the morning at daybreak and squirrels are everywhere. 👍🏻
My pick of my experiences. Garner State Park. My Dad went there for the first time in 1955, he was 15, we grew up going there, I'm 56 now. It's like a Super Star, it just has that extra something, the "IT" factor.
this video made me plan a big Texas state park road trip
I would love to see more kid and family day trips for little ones!!
You can bring them kiddos everywhere. We do!
Well what a great way to start the day!
Thanks! Always good to feel inspired to explore.
Excellent episode- new to TX and look forward to checking some of these out!
First off I totally enjoy y'alls talent & skills from writting, videography, content creation and of course the individual personality of Crew & presentaion of Texas' diversly rich Peoples, culture, spiritual beliefs and more I believe is why Texas is so BIG just to contain such diversity and have enough space left as to not go insane, Kudos good peoples!! so to this episode y'alls visited KeeChee(hehe) State Park , I'm a native of Guahan/Guam and in our lamgjuage KeeChee loosely translates to the enjoyable act of intercourse hehehe so everytime y'alls mentioned the park my Fam were left in stitches bwahaha lovin' it. Keep on keepin on Bros Peace&Smiles as y'all drive them Texas miles!
For your pick Chet, you could call deliveries to Blanco State Park soooo technically you're not leaving it.
First! Can't wait to go to all these places.
It's gonna take you a while. Better get started.
