- It's November 1st, and it's a great time to catch Sheepshead and lots of other fish on Mud Crabs. I caught a good weather window in the morning to put a few in the box before the wind and waves picked up. What in the heck do you think that last fish was, hooked on a live finger mullet...? Shark, Bull Red, Cobia? Another beautiful day on the water!

Brian- it's crazy how fast you're getting subscribers. Couldn't happen to a better guy!
Another wonderful video. Thank you so much for taking the time to video your adventures and sharing your expertise.
There is some massive carpet sized rays around the wall right now they have been a huge pest recently
I’m probably going to spend Christmas in Morehead City this year because of your page! Pick my boat up 12/20 and want to get into them like you do.
They are usually biting good around that time if you have some decent bait, Good Luck!
Nice meeting you today! Good video man keep up the good work, good luck hunting this year! I’d love to fish with you some day!
Yessir, thanks for the help sighting in today!
Pretty funny but I once fought a fish like your mystery fish thinking I had a big striper and when I got it up finally it was an 8 foot 2x6 from the bottom I hooked right at the end. That sucker was swimming back and forth, taking drag 😂🤣
Breaks my heart seeing you throw those blowfish back. Great eating. I miss going fishing in the fall at bogue inlet since my husband died last year
Ummm hmm If Sheepshead is in the title you know I gotta watch it. Sheepshead fishing has been slow here in pensacola. As usual great video.
I hear that Sheepshead bite better in the winter in FL, I plan on making another run down south when it cools down.
That last one must have been a shark!!! Lol
I like learning from your content. I caught my first 2 sheepshead ever while kayak fishing yesterday at the Umstead bridge.
That’s what I’m talking bout!
"You got some good spots there 👍👍🇺🇸"
I'm not really a big fish eater, but are sheep head pretty good eating? Btw, love your content.
@@ralphhigh4474 they are fantastic
You do pick some pretty days to fish. I’d have to keep some puffers. To me they’re really good eating.
I wish I had the cooler space, puffers are one of my favorite fish.
At least you got your line back
That was my initial concern, bout spooled me until I turned him.
Any head shake on the mystery fish? It didn't seem to head for the structure on the big run but instead headed to Wilmington ! Lol 🤣
You should try the drop shot rig for the sheepshead… way more sensitive
Bro that looked like a giant
Do you drop halfway or to the bottom? From what I see halfway (im assuming)?.
Thanks for explaining the dehooke too. Which one is yours. I like that metal one of yours
I fish on the bottom, no matter how deep the water is.
@@offkilterfishing good to know. Appreciate the info. I see some people fish 4-8ft down then drop deeper in those increments on the bay bridge. Interesting to see what everyone does. Whatever works I guess!!
@@IVIusicMayhem only time you dont drop to bottom for sheeps fishing is if your sight fishing/ sight casting.
@@hollyhood69 I see. Im no sheepshead expert. Learning from watching rn
@@IVIusicMayhem same here bud. It’s tricky fishing to say the least. It’s easier on kayak. It’s very easy to get your boat bets up trying to fish close to pilons. I really like the bottom sweeper jigs. Look those up.
Id probably think it was an older black drum you had on at the end. What your guess?
Black drum are really strong but they don't run that fast, probably a shark or ray honestly. If it was a fish, more likely a Bull Red Drum or a Cobia.
@@offkilterfishing 10 4. Yeah either way there is a lot of big crazy stuff right down there. I'm really digging those gopro drops you've been doing down by the tressel and radio island! Keep it up! It's cool seeing local videos
Comments and stuff.
Who do you get your shrimp from? My typical hookups have not been doing much this year.
Shoot me an email and I will let you know, it's in the description...
School Bus.
Where is this wall at in morehead city?
very close to port and bridge.
That's what happens when you play on RUclips
Is it true that sheep's head have teeth that look like human teeth? 😳
That’s right
Can u with me the adres pls
