By the way, to anyone only noticing it during long, Herself is actually singing when he shatters the glass, finally crossing a line that he knew he shouldn’t have which was losing hope in it getting better, his last my way, was him questioning if his way was ever working in the first place. Which is why he was shaking during the short cutscene.
Edit: Apparently when Yourself is grabbing his shirt he’s resisting the urge to try and hurt boyfriend, his smile falls because he’s hurting himself by reliving a memory, causing him to get violent, but as always, he controls himself.

I have a whole theory/interpretation on Yourself. The wiki mentions Herself's death and an unnamed accident. Not sure so much about the accident, maybe he tried to save her or smth. It says hes based on Lookalike, but not in the way he treated his girl. I think he loved her very much. In fact, I think the lyrics were him breaking the usual rap format and calling out to her. I know that's a stretch, but Herself's soul is inside Yourself's mic (also stated in the wiki). He's telling her to hold on a bit more, possibly so he can give his last goodbye. She appears and sings with him on "long enough to see my way". Herself's soul may be fading, and he's trying to talk to her once more, just wanting to hear her say she's proud of him. Yourself points at Boyfriend, but that may just be to reference to his mirroring of Boyfriend. When he sings "say how proud you are of me", his smile drops and he clutches his chest. The mirror also breaks behind him. He's putting so much emotion and power into this cry, it's literally shattering. The first "my way", he seems to be looking more at the mic, holding it out in front of him. The second "my way", is more of a scream than singing in the way his body language works. Then he slumps over, caught in a wave of grief that slowly grows with the blue hue. He's tired of hoping, of keeping that smile. He's overwhelmed with grief for the remaining few seconds of the song, as evident through the unchanging blue. Another note, Yourself's health icon changes to a bigger, more unhinged grin right before the health bar disappears entirely and he starts singing. The battle doesn't matter anymore, he's just depressed and tired. This isn't a display of power or dominance over Boyfriend - it's a cry of anguish and pain.

Learning the meaning of the lyrics literally has me crying at 5 am like, I had no idea that had even happened to divide, I stopped paying attention to the modding scene a long time ago. What a beautiful way to honor a friend and fellow modder, as well as incorporate it into a haunting scene within a mod using their character.

Has anybody else noticed that when the cutscene zooms in we can see that Yourself's fingers are shaking slightly but stop when the soul of Herself shows up, seemingly hugging him? She's still comforting him.
I love how even though Yourself is smiling most of the song, that smile falters during this cutscene and makes my heart ache for him just hearing the pain in his voice and expression 😭😭
Something ive noticed:
1) in the 1:01, theres a frame of what seems to be a fence as we're zooming out. This could have something to do with his lore. He also looks sad as well in that frame.
2) after the cutscene all the notes become blue or purple (idk), which i think implies that we are seeing his way.
3) when hes in his domain expansion or wtv. The reason i think its purple is because herself is red and yourself is blue and everyone knows blue+red= hollow purple.

silly billy's a cool concept, yeah, it makes you go like "oh yeah this is cool man" but when you have ALL of the context in mind (divide's passing in sleep, it being his oc, this song being made in honor of him, "how proud of you are of me", "stay awake" to ask how much divide is proud of his creation, etc) this song is really just a fucking wild ride with not only this context but how it builds up from the intro, to the shapeshifting with it's danger-sounding instrumental and how hype the late-game song instrumental sounds, all of this effort put into this song
and all of it to be ruined by you and your other friends with your brainrotting memes calling it a domain expansion, hollow purple and tearing the hype down

Sad fact: this was technically made by Divide (Some people call him divine) and he was a modder/dev for sonic.exe. but one day, he died in his sleep from cancer. Apparently though, someone saw his sketch of this alternate boyfriend character and made a whole mod about it. While the lyrics do reference girlfriend, it also references Divide and how if divide was alive right now, he would be proud. And the stay awake part references how divide died in his sleep, saying for him to just stay awake to see what he had created
Edit: I agree with some of y'all, cancer seems to be like that one incurable plague that takes the best people away. First technoblade, then lynja, and even divide. There's many more that died from cancer too.
Edit 2: as requested from @N0oBzy I will also add edd Gould, creator of eddsworld. He probably wanted to continue eddsworld, but he died from cancer 8 years after it started. Luckily, eddsworld lived on and continued being created.

It has been proven that, for most of the lyrics, Yourself is not talking to boyfriend, nor the player, but to Herself and Divide.
"So, stay awake" is talking to Divide, who died in his sleep, and telling him to stay awake to see what his creation of Yourself led to.
Herself is an alternate version of Girlfriend who died in an unnamed accident.
Yourself is an alternate and depressed version of Boyfriend who found out what happened with girlfriend.
The creator of this mod was not Divide, instead this song was fanmade by I'm assuming TheSapphireStar.
Here's a small detail, right before Yourself begins to sing, his smile on his icon becomes wider and more unhinged, then quickly fades out.
"My way" is likely him talking to Boyfriend and telling him to try and experience the trauma he went through.
After that lyric Yourself seemingly gets tired of smiling and stops, but then decides to start smiling again.

This gave me a scenario:
Engulfed by loss and anguish due to losing those he loved so dearly, he is ready to just give up. As he is about to sing, furious rainclouds hover over them and begin to shower them with heavy rain. The storm and wind may be loud, but he sings with so much force that his cry of despair will be heard to not just BF, but to those he lost.
At 0:25 you can see his smile fade to sadness while he's calling out to (his version of) herself
