I really like Bronze as a material, especially since I am not really into gold. I got myself the raymond weil freelancer skeleton in bronze after I saw it in your video and I am really happy with it. Maybe I will get another bronze watch in the future but for now im happy! Thanks for the videos!

The Bronze without Patina almost looks Rose Gold in tone. Oris is a really underestimated and overlooked brand. The availability in case size and an in house movement Oris gives people variety.

Great review. Thank you. I love everything about this watch and bought the blue. I have always loved the patina on bronze and it is definitely part of the charm.

What’re your thoughts on bronze as a watch material generally and patina? While bronze looks nice as a material, at least initially, the patinaing of a watch seems like an off thing to desire

      @camels3269 2 года назад +1

For me it really depends on the type of watch. For certain pilot watches for example the patina can create a rugged look that you can not get in any other way which is awesome. But yes, for this pointer date and also for the BB58 in bronze the patina will ruin the look of these watches for many.

    Hey Teddy,
can you do a review on Certina watches? More specifically the DS-1 special edition big date. I love the design and Certinas are not that frequent on this channel.

Stupid question but what was the significance of mentioning the colour of the dial when mentioning accuracy drift? I don't see how it should be a factor.

Nah, patina is what makes it gorgeous. It literally builds a unique look that can't really be replicated exactly

@@Mr-R.R. I think these people buy it because they want a rose gold watch but can’t afford one, so they wish these didn’t patina and looked like gold. That or they just have no taste, or both. lol

I am considering these but I have a question. The case back is in stainless steel so that it does not mark your wrist. Wouldn't the same issue happen with the bronze bracelet?

@Michael has the accrued patina lessened residue on wrist over time? Have one in transit and hoping not to have a daily green ring a year from now.

Man, I love the look of this! That warm glow of the bronze is beautiful. If it was possible to make a bronze alloy that wouldn't tarnish, that would keep that beautiful color without having to resort to chemicals to remove tarnish, I'd snap one up! But the tarnish isn't a look I find appealing on a watch.

Great review, your prices are a little high compared what you can get them for elsewhere. For example, I purchased the Oris bronze big crown pointer date, 80th anniversary brand new for around $1500, rather than the retail of $2100. Do you offer discounts on any of them?

Hi Teddy talking about Seiko do you have a review about the solar watches off Seiko? Think about the SEIKO PROSPEX SSC757J1 SOLAR?

  • @fredsoldi9006

I need your help. Would anyone have a recommendation for a watch? It should have a diameter of 35-38mm and a maximum of 45mm lug to lug, have sapphire glass, 5-10bar, max. 10mm high and a quartz movement or solar with at least 5 years battery life. In terms of price, I imagine around €300. Visually, it should be sporty but also minimalistic. optics such as a gs 263 or rolex op / explorer1 or an omega aqua terra or something in the direction of the Bauhaus style. I hope for a few suggestions. (I already have a tissot prx35 and junghans milano solar would be an option, but maybe you can think of something else.
    Greetings from Germany

I bought the Oris 80th Anniversary Big Crown Green face on leather strap a couple of years back.
Would you think the bronze bracelet of the 2022 model fit? Any recommendations of where I can get my hands on it please?

I have one bronze watch, and i already switched to a Bund strap, yet still get stains on the back of my hand just from the crown...so looking at this bronze bracelet makes me wonder why no youtuber ever mentions this problem. I mean in this case it´s clear, Teddy wants to sell these, but still...

I recently got the Blue one from my local A D its quite beautiful and very comfortable on the wrist however it dose patina rather quickly ive chosen to keep her somewhat polished by a weekly rubdown with the cloth provided i think possibly it the future they consider a brass version instead it a tad slower to patina .
