  • In 2019, Hannah Payne witnessed a hit-and-run accident. She called 911 to report the crash - but instead of following instructions from dispatchers - she allegedly followed one of the drivers involved in the crash, Kenneth Herring, and demanded he return to the scene. Payne then allegedly fatally shot the man as he sat in the driver’s seat of his car. The 25-year-old is charged with malice murder, two counts of felony murder, aggravated assault, false imprisonment, and three counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

After the truck crash happened Herring wondered around and talked to people including a detention officer who thought he didn't look well, the girl stood there too! She was more than eager to take a gun to this mans window, after beating this man outside of z door that wouldn't open, she then pulled her pistol and put it inside the window, after beating him she didn't have to approach again, her choice to shoot him.

This defense att. is really slimy, he keeps thinking that hes smarter than everyone. He question the witness about "could he have gotten out" then when he was told no, he had them read back the record and he was still wrong XD. Like come on man, do you not know the answers to the questions your asking? She said on direct that the man couldnt have gotten out multiple times but this guy is acting like she said the opposite.

First thing, the defense Attorney is awful!! I am not surprised, though, because of the way he has handled this case in the past! He is always late and seems unprepared! He just continues to ask the same questions, over and over! The prosecution is literally rolling its collective eyes in astonishment.
This defense Attorney seems to be grasping for straws with every witness that he cross examines, and has made practically no inroads with attempts to discredit any of the State’s witnesses! Furthermore, he has certainly not endeared himself to the jury!! His body language, facial expressions, and indignant tone comes across in a manner that’s sure to alienate the jury!
In my humble opinion, lay opinion, this girl is as good as already convicted!
