This unfortunate and tragic case and another such case are sufficient reasons for the Georgia legislature's decision to abolish citizen's arrest privileges of ordinary citizens except for shopkeepers or store owners who control and stop shoplifting. The pursuit of criminals is the responsibility and job of law enforcement and not the responsibility and job of ordinary citizens.
Listening to her attorney, makes me think of the episode of Andy Griffith, where Gomer tries to arrest Barney. He's yelling, with that southern drawl, Citizens arrest citizens arrest! Google it, it's funny

Exactly! WTF does her being "young" have to do with anything? If you're old enough to own a gun, you're old enough to use it responsibly! You can't use it to intimidate and ultimately murder a confused man who left the scene of an accident!
Diabetics don't have epipen. A diabetic has a low, it's called a glucicon injection. And its a resuce one. A type 1 diabetic needs to take insulin everytime they eat or drink. That cross was misleading. Hopefully the prosecution fixes that later1

He absolutely did not leave the scene cuz Hannah was making him feel uncomfortable or threatened, that’s reaching. Yes, she was totally wrong in what she did but that one statement you made sounds asinine.
She made sure to wear that big ol’ Jesus on the cross necklace. Guess she’s asking for forgiveness for murdering someone.
The eye drops case that just ended, that lady did the same thing
@@emilyj9034I've noticed a lot of the women tend to do that
Yes!! Wow sick of defendants wearing the cross, I’m watching from 🇬🇧 here it doesn’t seem to matter! But I see it way too much, most are just sad doing that.
I bet if they looked into and was
allowed to bring up their religious beliefs they would. But they won’t be questioned etc.
Also why do these criminals, killers never wear glasses until trial????
I call bs, but makes me 😂 x
That cross didn't help her case...
@@LindaMoon-xq1qm yeah the power doesn't come from the cross
Defense counsel doesn't make sense. He sounds like a drunk.
This defense attorney is from the bottom of the barrel…telling the jury to consider evidence that’s not there 🤦🏾♀️
She picked the right attorney 0:02
Worst defense attorney EVER!!🤦🏽♀️🤡🤣
I never imagined seeing an actual Bob's Burgers character in reality.
lol 🤣😂😅
@@bbruce1978 she literally has no chin
That defense attorney is insufferable. I love both attorney's for the state. Nobody had to encourage the defendent to do what she did. She was he77 bent on playing cop, using her weapon to intimidate someone, anyone, and lost her mind when Mr Herring wouldn't comply and ended up hitting her precious truck. She is not a good person. A good person would have helped Mr Herring not take his life. She has absolutely no remourse sitting there all smug. She is a danger to society. Lock her up.
Their facial expressions are fantastic, watching this guy, who probably smells like cheap cologne and baloney. Defense attorney is smarmy
@rez3501 - EXCELLENT COMMENT!!!!
@@shindlesthat’s the funny part about laws people like her will exploit them.
@@shindlesno she was not justified. He did not commit a felony so citizen's arrest is out the window
@@shindlesAre you from Mars?! No one conducting a citizens arrest has the right to kill an unarmed man. No one.
My condolences goes to this man family this is sad all the way round this girl got some real messed up issues chasing people down and demanding them to do what she wants and then take their life how crazy that is
I do not like the term, 'Karen'. But this defendant sounds like the definition of 'Karen'.
First off there was no reason for her to have a gun out to begin with! But on top of that, why in this world did she have a bullet in the chamber unless she was ready to kill!
Good point!
If she had the job for ten years. Why all of a sudden go out and buy a gun.
That lady felt entitled
All judges should be required to have that accent
And injecting oneself is NOT an issue - millions of people stick themselves with a needle multiple times a day… it’s not that big of deal.🙄
To eliminate all possibilities that he supposedly tried to stab her with a needle, instead he had them for Medical reasons not to harm
The correction officer never said "Go" he said "Get it get it get it get the picture of the tag". The defense is infuriating....they attempt to blame every single witness on the stand. Wtf was that story about an archer? I bet he's used that story in more than half of his cases 😂
This is to hard to watch with a friggen ad every 60 seconds.
I never, ever see ads on RUclips. Your browser will have a FREE adblocker for you use - use it and you'll be bothered no more.
The argument from the defense, around 3:18, completely throws out her defense that she thought he was drunk. 🙄
Lock her up and throw away the keys
This case is new to me. Watching this opening by defense is not helping. 😂 He is all over the place. He just needs to tell the story about what happened
If she just minded her own business...
That dude is a lawyer? I bought a car from him in 1977…
She wanted to be like Kyle Rittenhouse and I’m so happy she’s guilty. Rouge citizens
Manipulation from the defensive side is just plain sad
21 years old no way i thought she was in her 30's
This unfortunate and tragic case and another such case are sufficient reasons for the Georgia legislature's decision to abolish citizen's arrest privileges of ordinary citizens except for shopkeepers or store owners who control and stop shoplifting. The pursuit of criminals is the responsibility and job of law enforcement and not the responsibility and job of ordinary citizens.
The police won't do their job. It would be easier to just admit who is commiting these crimes
I agree. Yet, I feel rules should also apply to ordinary citizens in case of possible attempts of severe crimes, such as abduction.
@@grandmaida7819 only cause you support criminals
This was citizens murder. No arrest.
@MissSassy019 so true. Good point!
How are the defense questions to the first male witness at all helpful to defendant??
He lost the case the minute he told that lame illustration. Good grief!
Was she wearing her Jesus cross when she shot Mr Herring? She could have taken a picture of his tag and let the police track him down.
I really really like Judge Scott. One of the reasons isn't really relevant but her voice is so pleasant to listen to.
Listening to her attorney, makes me think of the episode of Andy Griffith, where Gomer tries to arrest Barney. He's yelling, with that southern drawl, Citizens arrest citizens arrest! Google it, it's funny
Excellent opening by prosecutor.
Yes!!! She’s excellent! She made me want to watch it.
It’s like a case study of opposites compared to the defense. What was that archery story??
She’s wearing Jesus on her. All for show. She’s going to be found guilty.
There's plenty of Christians on prison. "prison ministries" is an actual thing.. for her, faith is not a shield. It's a sword.
The judge is so soft spoken and sweet.
That defense attorney is the worst i have ever seen. Telling the jury to consider evidence that is not there whats next is he going to tell them about jury nullification? As for him referring to the defendant as young well it shows he has a sense of humor.
GROUNDS!!😂😂
Exactly! WTF does her being "young" have to do with anything? If you're old enough to own a gun, you're old enough to use it responsibly! You can't use it to intimidate and ultimately murder a confused man who left the scene of an accident!
@@QueenOfEverything69do you know who the plaintiff is in this matter? 😂😂😂
@@QueenOfEverything69😅😅😅NOOOOOO!!! I have been trying to get that out of my mind! 😂😂😂
An Epipen is for correcting an allergic reaction not anything for Insulin
Diabetics don't have epipen. A diabetic has a low, it's called a glucicon injection. And its a resuce one. A type 1 diabetic needs to take insulin everytime they eat or drink. That cross was misleading. Hopefully the prosecution fixes that later1
Right Epi-pens are for severe allergic reaction AKA Anaphylaxis
I was around a guy once who was climbing on a rail on a small set of steps much like a little kid would. You could tell he was out of it. Medic responded and basically said watch this. He administered whatever diabetic medication that was needed and the guy came around within seconds. It was remarkable!
Yeah, I think that's what he meant. He just didn't think to look it up somewhere to get his facts straight. Not a good lawyer. Blaming the victim. smh.
My son is diabetic type 1 and he takes his epi pen everywhere with him
@@marionnewsom8687epipens have epinephrine in them. They won’t help with blood sugar. There are similar pens for diabetics called hypopens that have glucagon in it. So either your son is not actually carrying an epipen and it’s called something else, or he is carrying it for a reason other than diabetes.
lol Hannah looks like a thumb
Lol😂
This defense attorney sounds like a cross between Kevin Spacey in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil and Saul Goodman with a head cold.
Hannah’s attorney isn’t doing her any favors. It’s like he’s grasping at wild straws right from the start and it’s making him come off as a bit slimy.
Wow hes really saying his work tools are dangerous weapons....smh!
EPI pens are for allergic reactions not insulin adminstration
Excellent prosecution opening!!
Lord Jesus Christ this is awful the audacity of some people entitled attitudes just baffling to me
Hannahs lawyer just doesn't seem believable right from the jump.
Defense is literally a worse lawyer than my cousin Vinny lol. That bow and arrow story made little to 0 sense. Neighbor still hit the tree sir. Aim was still good. Your client is guilty clown
I was so lost! Waiting for some revelation that never came
Prosecutor and defendant look like their Sisters
Guilty on all counts.
The only thing the defence attorney has going for him is that he still has a full head of hair.
Karen's are taking it to the next level. Maybe we need Anti-Karen laws.
Defense attorney is trying to work with what he’s got - nothing.
Attempting to blame Mr. Robinson for the actions of the defendant is offensive to the jury. The defendant was emboldened by the gun on her hip.
DONT IMPERSONATE POLICE
I love Judge Scott, she’s so classy 🥰
I seriously hope she didn't pay for this lawyer. 😂
It's the confusion NOT the exact words. I'm surprised as a CO that he's unable to clarify
Very effective cross examination. Not sure if the people commenting here sre actually watching the trial.
Omg, watching from 🇬🇧 im absolutely disgusted at the defence attorney. Smirking, chuckling and pulling faces when the prosecutor was giving her opening statement. How he got away with that I’ll never know, he was doing through most it!!!!
Don’t think the jury will be happy they must of clearly seen him?
This case is just awful and so sad, self defence?? My arse, she hunted him down like prey and assassinated that poor man.😢
