Some Chinese brands sell cars here in Brazil and I know from old reports that they have already sold in the EU. The problem is that 10 years ago, when the wave started, the products were not of the same quality as those sold in the markets where they entered.

Most of their eletric cars can last 90%~95% of claimed NEDC milages in real life driving tests, sometimes even surpasses them. I just would like to mention the actual range of Han, tested by a number of famous Chinese car viewers, is actually very close to the projected range announced by BYD. And their “blade battery” is said to be more durable and capable of heat control.
We’ve been seeing the results of those tests and we’re really impressed. We’re still not sure how it aligns with mileage experienced by real consumers, but it’s further proof that BYD’s “blade” battery technology is legit.

Just as the new 2020 Tang was also announced, which has big improvements in the interior has they are using the same style as the Han, it's also a bit faster now (4.3s) ... you guys should try it and see if they improved the steering as well.
They are about to launch Han and tang in Germany and? Norway first at December due to supply shortage for the new model so call blade battery. This battery would never on fire even encountering short circuit
Very stunning interior, I like the fact they have added the red leather trim on the steering wheel to bring it all together very nicely tying it all in with the rest of interior, it looks like a very nice place to be in.

Some of the more mainstream Japanese brands are really lagging behind the Chinese in terms of tech & perceived quality. They need to step up their game really soon or they'll be struggling.
Japanese brands are riding on legacy perception from the 80s and 90s. When you become number one in something you become complacent and will lose to the next hungrier firm. EV was a green field if you must - many of the old stalwarts simply didn't have the incentive to dump loads on money into it - why change a winning formula? China due to its late entry into the ICE game saw this as an opportunity. I honestly think BYD and Geely, possibly MG may be the new Toyota/Honda/Nissans of China.
Michelle T except nissan was one of the first major companies to have evs!! And its not like toyota and honda didnt shift. They were early adopters of hybrid tech and are developing evs rn
having watched this video, I brought one of Han. it is fantastic, sleek and powerful, guess what, i even met Ethan at the car dealer venue. Chinese cars are soaring up high in recent a few years.

It's fantastic to see some English reviews of Chinese cars, as I've noted before. The technological advancements made by Chinese automakers are truly astounding. The entire design of this vehicle impresses me. Of course, it has a number of Tesla-inspired characteristics, but it also has a lot more features that make it less of a Chinese knockoff.
Chinese cars are really stepping up their quality. They realized it didn't make sense to try to catch up on combustion engines because that's not going to be the future. So this is impressive.

The greedy, profit mongers and lobbyists in the NA car industry will do everything to prevent this competition from reaching our shores. I think you really should have mentioned the batteries, as BYD uses their proprietary technology, which makes the batteries much safer than lithium batteries used in most EVs
The worlds car makers need to take note. The Chinese are here with EV's and very impressive first offerings. They appear like they are ahead of some well known Euro brands. I remember not so long ago TG mocking some Chinese cars they drove. TG admitted that in just a short time who knows what they will be capable of. Here is yet more proof.

There was an air quality test between han and model 3 recently by a 3Rd party test team, Han’s results are way much better than m3.

The worlds car makers need to take note. The Chinese are here with EV's and very impressive first offerings. They appear like they are ahead of some well known Euro brands. I remember not so long ago TG mocking some Chinese cars they drove. TG admitted that in just a short time who knows what they will be capable of. Here is yet more proof.
