Interesting Metallifact - Only band to play on all 7 continents - yes, they went to Antarctica! When Mars has a venue, Metallica will play it and people will somehow get there. Always lit af. Edit - Veteran of over 300 Metallica concerts here and NEVER left anything other than amazed!

I've been a life long Metallica fan (35 years) and back in December 2018, my at the time 11 year old daughter and I were officially baptized into the Metallica family, attending our first Metallica concert, and let me tell you, there isn't much to compare to a Metallica show (well I did attend a System of a down show back in 2005 that might compare to it 😂🤘) but anyways, the only word that comes to mind that even closely resembles the feeling of the "Power" music and the energy of 20,000 people, absolutely amazing and would highly recommend it should you ever have the opportunity... 😲🤩🤘🔥🎸✌

Look at all those RUclips tabs opened 👀 that’s dedication, you got my subscription just for that bro. Huge Metallica fan, they kind of saved my life in a way, moved around a lot as a kid, if I remember right I moved like 16 times among 13-14 different places because of divorced parents and just stupid shit. Never had a lot of time to make friends and in high school a kid I went to school with told me ab Metallica. The day I heard Fade to Black, I had to pick up a guitar. That shit gave me such an escape like I’ve never experienced and was like the best friend I needed. Gotta check that song out, Master of Puppets, Ride the Lightning, Seek and Destroy, Spit Out the Bone, Halo on Fire, just for starter. Enjoy this journey of Metallica 🤘

I saw them in dec 2018. The cheapest ticket is like $100 and worth every penny. They and their crew put so much work into their shows. Sound tech, audio/visual, pyrotechnics, weird cubes hanging from the ceiling showing different visuals... it’s great! I would advise wearing earplugs just because it’s so loud that after a few songs, if you aren’t familiar with the song already, it can sound really muddy and make it hard to tell what’s going on

Yes, this song is a commentary on the evils/damages of war on the soldiers. In the old MTV video it shows how soldiers were so physically destroyed that they had no hope of living a decent life. Men hit by bombs, missing arms, legs, unable to see or hear.
Try to imagine lying in a bed, but you can't see, you can't talk, you can't hear, you have no use of your arms or legs, you are confined to an existence of living in your own mind, and nothing else, imagine the horror realizing that you will be like that for 60+/- years.

their official video has cuts from a movie called "johnny got his gun", the cuts show what happened to the boy who got injured in WW1. metallica owns the movie so its doubtful that you will ever find anyplace where you can watch the movie. in the movie, the boys arms, legs and face get blown off by a landmine, and he cant communicate in any way except by blinking his eyes. this is the story of how he tells doctors that he wants to die, but they wont just kill him. now he just exists in a living hell.

I Lobe how you JAM and Bang Your Head At THE SAME TIME I AM Every Time you do a Metallica video. Just wait until the double bass drum kicks into “taken my arms, taken my legs, etc!!!!” @SwaggyReacts This was a low-key political statement against war during the time this album came out, about how our warriors were sent home with nothing but pain and anguish after they came home. I see you diggin’ those double guitar solo’s where James Hetfield plays the exact same solo as Kirk Hammet but an Octavehigher or lower! I see you!!!! My man!!! That’s what’s up.
