I also have this kit and also have warped parts. It's doable but ofcourse it's nicer if the kit goes together without too much hustle. good tip at 8:11 to remove a bit of that hull part to make the hull fit better.
Not just me then Steve ha ha.. I’m building their T72 at the moment! So far no warping just the usual flash and ejector pin marks. Are you building the Tiger now or have you finished it?
@@modkitmayhem I bought it a while ago, it even has the old box art so when I saw your video I had to double check whether I had the same kit! I did get a detailing set for it though, but I am slowly starting to doubt if that's really necessary with this one. I had to give miniature modeling a break for a while but now that my house is back in order I can get back to it. I did make extra details for the interior of the turret as I plan to have the turret roof remain detachable to look inside. Lots of work ofcourse but it's something to do while it rains outside.
@@modkitmayhem also Panther is ok for its price (~9 pound and less in my country). Thanks for video! Want to more paintbrushing video) Sorry for bad English
Panther is one of my favourite tanks! Good English no need to apologise 👍 Will do some more paintbrush painting vids like the GR.1 videos soon. Thanks for watching my channel 😀👍
for the price your getting a well detailed kit i have the revell tiger 1 75th aniversary kit and got that in a sale for 26 pound and it seems to be a lot of kit for the money but i still have to build it as its sat in my stash at the moment what tracks does it have ie link or rubber? looking forward to the next bit of the build
It’s a perfect kit to practice and increase the skills on.. especially my airbrush paint mixing 😂. This kit has got link and section tracks which was a nice surprise! I’m not doing Zim on this tank as it’s Kursk but I do have another that’ll I’ll need to add it to in a future video! Need to find the best technique for that at some point.. could be a good video! Glad you liked it, should be a nice build and make a good Tiger I I hope 😀👍
The Revell kit is actually the exact same as this. Just a rebox and the sprues are a different colour. Refer to scalemates.com they have all the info. Great kit for the price.
excellent kit. Zvesda make good kits.
Thank's David.. it's a really good value kit.
Awesome vid as usual, would be good to see a livestream while you make these!
Cheers Kieron, not looked at livestream yet but definitely something to try in the future 👍😀
Good job! Thanks for this topic, looking forward to part 2. If you went into more detail that is ok by me. and don't rush. Thanks.
Cheers man, Hopefully next weeks vid will have a bit more detail. And yes ‘don’t rush’ ha ha 😀👍
Great start! I look forward to the next one! :D
Cheers Man 😀👍
