"i just moved here 10 years ago" fucking classic
agro2much4me...I know...that line killed it for me... he shouldn't have let the world know that he's not home grown
I rather him admit that than the rest of the posers here who moved to the city 5 years ago and act like they're Chicagoans now.
pSmall360 ..I hate that man you could tell who those people are instantly...our city is getting a Bad name. Because of all the fake news ..acting like it's a war zone over here....This is one of the Greatest city's in America..the best pizza ...best Chinese food ..best everything..I was born here..and I shall die here...
My Words ARE Gems 1 bro half the people here are from somewhere else
762 gun murders last year and 4,367 gun injuries...Is that "Fake news" ? In a city with some of the tightest gun laws in America....Nothing to see here, move along
You know they're drunk when the first words are, " Did I told you.." lol
Say what you want but i would fucking demolish that honey fried chicken
me too
I’m demolishing 10:46
They're so blazed lol
this is one of the better munchies episodes, great people, great content, you can tell they've polished their menu items well but aren't full of themselves.
I love Chicago. So many different neighborhoods each with their own different character. Even-though it is a really large city it can feel very homely.
... each with its* own character ...
Chef's night out is turning into Chefs get drunk and eat mexican.
Idk about you, but I love Mexican food even more when I'm drunk...
yea , you dont?
"i just moved here ten years ago."
definitely stealing that line
"I just moved here 10 years ago"
U go girl!
Good for you. Still you live there?
Realy love this episode! So relaxed people and man would I love to eat the rice and chicken thats cooked at the end!
"Ya know I gotta tell you a secret, I think my dad is actually sitting in that restaurant".
I think that was so cool, especially if it wasn't staged.
I love tacos!
>Lived in Brazil as kid
>Spanish name for restaurant
lol they are the same thing idiot
The same? portuguese and spanish are the same?
jcfartson that is amazing. You called somebody an idiot, while making a completely ignorant and idiotic statement. You are a special individual, well done.
lol i ws joking??
Sure you were lol.
Hope you guys do more show n Chicago!! love this city!
Thank you for still making content munchies. The hate in the comment feed is unnecessary.
Yes MUNCHIES! Was having a crap evening so I watched this glass of ice coffee just what I needed! Keep up these kinds of vids! :)
They seem like they have really good friends and a really nice life.
This whole episode is mostly based in neighborhoods just east of Wrigley Field on the north side and as a lifelong Chicago resident it just makes me not miss driving those crazy neighborhood streets.
Damn y'all. They're just making fried chicken. Why so much hate?
Envy
lol, I was typing Envy, and saw your response haha
hipsters who think theyve invented the wheel
not me, I love Trump.
Hey Ding Dong. it's free, and it's a cool show.
Go create something yourself bitches
This is one of my favorites omg you guys have to try it ❤️
I was on the fence about this episode until I heard them say they were heading to El Asadero. As a born and raised Chicago-Mexican, that place is the real deal! Steak cooked to absolute perfection. Try the Steak Torta if you're ever in town!
Driving through there for the first time soon and was looking for recommendations! Ty
It's such a tease watching these videos before supper when you're hungry af....
Derelict hipsters find abandoned building gentrified neighborhood in a downtown area, cook an ironic soul food favorite in an ironic way, ...
This is getting pretty fucking predictable at this point
Tyler Potts it's called opening a new business man. Good simple food done well, lowest overhead possible, gets popular, brings more people to the neighbourhood, prices increase, property development happens, hipsters move, cycle continues.
Ha I am just fucking around I genuinely believe a degree of gentrification is good we can't let poor neighborhoods not grow of course we need to provide for prior residents but yea hipsters are good for downtown areas. Furthermore, I like these kind of places they do great food, my comment was more to the predictability of it all.
Tyler Potts ah fair enough I get what you mean, adds a staleness to this series if they don't diversify enough.
edgy loud mouths get old too
Tyler Potts the comments are pretty fucking predictable as well. unsubscribe and move on
everything looks amazingggg
I need to find this place. it looks so good. Honey butter and fried chicken sounds amazing.
This is my favorite series on the internet. Please make more in LA/Hollywood/Silver Lake!!!!
this is a brilliant episode
Any people from Texas that are familiar with Whataburger? Honey butter chicken biscuit sandwich, so bombbb
Erica Melendez Whataburger is ass
While I do agree Whataburger isn't that great, the honey butter chicken biscuit is god's gift to mankind.
Anyone who says Whataburger is ass has terrible taste.
I’m loving that version of fried rice !!
LOL "I was briefly Swedish once, for a girl."
"Uhh cuidado on the cebolla. Un poquito culo vomitar, tu sabes?" Fucking hilarious, that guys a gem.
Loved it!
Saw this video last night and was inspired to whip up some honey butter and fry up some chicken breasts.... Soooo good.. Definitely gonna stop by the restaurant when I make my way out to Chicago.
Excellent episode.
Next on Munchies, deep fried quail with oak moss coleslaw and sorghum flour cornbread
Love this video ....
I like these people and even more how they speak Spanish lol
More chefs night out London!!
watching munchies gives munchies
ugh this is so cool!!
Great episode 😁
Their "you got your chocolate on my peanut butter, no you got your peanut butter on my chocolate" moment
"I feel like the drinks are one thing but at the same time the exact opposite of that thing"
Least enjoyable restaurant, partnership and FOOD in the entire series for ME.
This place is amazing the best chicken in the galaxy I live right down the street ...
this is one of my favorites :)
Josh is such a sweetheart!
Bruh ..his dad was really there .. 😂 classic moment
I live in Chicago, I am definitely going to check out that chicken shack.
i tried this place the other day…. AMAZING
The part owner is STONED out of his mind. A stoner will understand > at 3:37
Those fried chicken looks delicious.. I think im in love and craving for it right now hahaha XD
I cooked for Christine at a pop up in Chicago in 2011...I came over from Amsterdam to do it. Now I live in Slovenia and just started a fried chicken brand. Life is weird :-D
How do these people eat so much in a single night?
Based on how wasted they were probably just had the munchies lol plus this started at like 6 or something and probably went on until 12 or 1
I've seen healthier looking people eat waaaay more on this show, haha
Nice avatar!
This guy is hella chill
Munchies taking a sound board que from Hot Ones with the opening. Nice
"I just moved here ten years ago!." Werq! I wanna be that guy's friend lol.
by the end of the video, she just looks pissed off at him LOL
"I didn't eat a vegetable until I was probably 16 years old." Lmao what the fuck
loool I love that his dad was in one of the restaurants
Jeez they're 8 miles from where I live, I need to try this!!
Lived in Brazil, mentions it like his cookings are inspired, shows Mexican food without a bit of Brazilian in them.
Makes me happy to see people happy doing what they do and making people happy.
4:43 says it exactly how he said it just with hand movements
Been there. Expensive but really good and they play slick rick
yes chicken
"You know, at the end of the night, you have some leftover fried chicken..." No. I don't know. Just like like leftover bacon, I didn't know that was possible.
Def going to the taco spot!
This is how I want to live my life.
The guy in the red plaid looks like Dean Ambrose let himself go.
If I ever make it to Chicago, I'm there.
This place is fire
Volvo represent. The overseas delivery, lol. Free ticket to my hometown :D
Super happy for Josh he was able to live out his dream before he eats himself into a diabetic coma
This channel is making my sleeping schedule hell.
"I like to say it with an accent" -4:44 -says it with no accent. Lol la sirinuh
The thumbnail alone makes me angry that I can't eat it RIGHT NOW
Only 13 minutes from me. I will check it out!
fried rice in the end...oh my good I'd eat whole pan of that!
hope they're still around when I'm able to go
Well done Josh!
Amazing Chicken!
I miss my Chicago!
Wow chicken wings and butter... Real fine cuisine
I'm so glad I live Chicago, but why does it have to be all the way on the north side?! Oh well, Looks like I know where I'm going for lunch 🍴
Food looked good.
"Let's get some good f... wine" and orders a Barolo...
Damn I'm hungry now haha
I would love to visit Honey Butter Fried Chicken 😍😍😍
I'd love to visit YOU sexy mama!
lol that one guy couldn't use the chopsticks
I know this video is 5 years old but putting chopsticks like that in the rice is totally bad luck. Also if you add white pepper and rice wine, you're half way there to Taiwanese popcorn chicken. 😁👍
Honey Butter Fried Chicken is great y'all are crazy
"I was briefly swedish" lol
Where can you buy those honeycomb cornbread molds?
Matt Kinch there website
Money of an idea good job guy
I used to live in Logan square! Sad they didn't go to any good spots.
Nothing amazing or new as Korean Honey Butter Chicken is well known and extremely popular in Asia and has been around for years.
You can tell that these guys love each other, but are hiding it
sounds great Sweden go for it man
where are the molds made to make the biscuits with bee and hive shapes from? i'd like to buy a set
I can agree that there are many other great restaurants in Chicago that vice could have gone to. However, most those restaurants are not relevant in demand of coverage. A small joint where vice feels is good food and deserves coverage so be it. I was glad to see a steak taco. Thank you vice.
