On one utube channel "DIY Wife" I asked the same question as you did to the handy wife & she never replied to my question. I'm also curious if they have had prior schooling with a Dad, family member or their own spouse. Who knows? I'm thinking they don't want to reveal on how they learned such skill but there's nothing wrong with sharing. 🤷♀️

I watch a family vlog, they moved house last year and have had there daughter in doing cute projects, she always mentions she saw a cute little video where a girl done ship lap in her closet but she never gave the creator credit.. just a little FYI you have hardwood floors. the gap at the wall is so that your floors can expand and contract. If you don't leave a gap they can buckle.
Yes I understand that but my issue wasn’t really with the gap but with the baseboards they left when they installed the flooring. Instead of removing the baseboards they installed the flooring up to them and left the gap from the baseboard and flooring so you couldn’t cover the gap up with baseboards. The baseboards were stuck in between the wall and the flooring. So I removed the baseboards out from in between and placed them over the flooring to cover the gap between the wall and flooring so you couldn’t see it there is still a gap in the between the wall and the flooring isn’t just not visible now. 🙃
Hahah yea I hate mud and leaves too but I live on a farm and have a kid and 3 dogs so no matter what I do I’m gonna get some mud and leaves 😆 The boot tray is a good idea for under the bench though. Thanks for the idea and watching have a great weekend! 💕☺️💕
I have 8ft tall ceiling so it’s 8ft tall for sure on the inside and the opening in between the molding is 6ft wide. It goes a little bit beyond the molding on each side so my guess is 8ft wide on the inside too. Hope that helps! Have a great week!
