Great video, I am definitely going to share this one with anyone who has a problem with their Acaia Pearl. Now, in your opinion, other than materials, how would you compare the Pearl to the Lunar, now that the Pearl has the updated features? Is the Pearl a better value over the Lunar? True, the Lunar is made from aluminum, but other than, what is you opinion?
I honestly think that there are more reason to get the Lunar than there are to get the Pearl. Simply because I feel there isn't really a replacement for Lunar out there on the market that I have seen, however in the case of the Pearl, there is the Blackmirror. But if we are strictly comparing these two, due to the size difference, you will need to get the one that fits your daily drinks. The Lunar is way too small for pour-overs and Pearl is way too clunky for most espresso machines. Just my two cents.
@@XICups Those are some excellent points. I haven't really transitioned in to espresso yet, and my pourovers range from Aeropress, V60s, Clever, Stagg XF to Chemex/Tricolate and the larger size would benefit my daily routines.
