I haven't done a demo disk video for a few years now!
Time to change that with a look at Euro Demo 38 from the Official PlayStation Magazine UK Issue 38! Never owned this so this is my first time experiencing it!
Really enjoyed this. I loved the ps1 demo discs back in the day and would get the most months. I remember taking it in turns to try out the newest with my cousin. Great times.
I got into demo disks more in the early 2000s starting in 2001 until 2008 but I always had a blast playing them with my brother :D
Hopefully I can show more demo disks as time goes on!
I can’t believe i can’t find these demo discs in iso form online anywhere. I’m sure plenty of people have a full collection but no one is preserving them online
I do remember seeing Demo 1 Version 5 online but this was a few years ago.
Sadly, yes most demo disks have not been preserved, a real shame & I hope this changes soon!
@@AffrosCuriositiesOfficial Yeah. I think all the PlayStation Magazine US ones are preserved but i haven’t found one PS Mag UK one.
It’s a real shame because they are such a big part of my PS One experience. That’s how i found all the games i later bought.
I have found all the PAL Demo 1 disks though. That’s even more important to me because the 4th one was the first experience turning the console on, and i still get the same amazing feeling from launching it.
I hope soon this changes but, I feel it is because a lot of people hate PAL versions of games when there's nothing to hate about them other than the reduced frame rate xD
I had version 5 growing up & that one is very special to me personally :) Sadly, I never experienced the others so, I hope someday I will!
@@AffrosCuriositiesOfficial Yeah i’m playing NTSC and NTSC-J games now but i would still love the PAL demos
I'll always appreciate PAL games being from the UK but, like yourself I've really gotten into NTSC, especially NTSC-J games!
