I ended up getting the Spigen "like new" return. But, is it supposed to cling to a metal surface or magnet. Mine does not. Will get actual magsafe from apple next week.
Spigen case is perfect also you want the best screen protector of the easiest screen protector you could literally put on in two minutes I’ll speak and it comes in a two pack I don’t know why you’re not gonna need to but they’re cheap and they’re the best out there great value for your money for your dollar
No the yellowing does not effect the MagSafe. The "yellowing" is not a film that builds on top of the case, it's just the material itself, as dirt, dust, and sun light continually hit it, will tint the TPU.
I would say they show "grease" more than fingerprints but at the same time they can be easily cleaned and wiped off. These aren't materials that are difficult to wash off so it shouldn't be that much maintenance to maintain!
Some screen protectors go right up to the edge of the screen while others sit a few millimeters away from the edge. Since there is a lip on the Spigen that goes slightly onto the iPhone screen, it might overlap or interfere if you have a larger sized screen protector. Hope this was clear, kinda hard to explain haha
Spigen is the best , have dropped my iPhone 12 Pro Max atleast two dozen times without any damage to the iphone , one can buy with confidence , my every other iphone for my entire family , it is with spigen protection , polycarbonate back makes a Hugh difference , buy with mag safe , just in case you want to use mag safe accessories….
I agree, the protection on the Spigen does make me feel much more confident than Apple's. As well as the complete body protection (near the bottom). I really wish Apple's covered the entire phone.
Honestly the only case I’ve had success with not yellowing has been Apple’s case. I’d assume it’s because it’s a much more sturdy plastic and not as flexible as most clear cases so that could be why. I know it’s more expensive but I’ve had mine for almost 10 months now and it hasn’t started yellowing yet
The car mount is the 'Otter Box Car Dash & Windshield Mount for MagSafe'. I see you've looked at the Vicseed car mount video, and I personally think that one is better than the otter box for a similar price! Hope this helps :)

Yah mine did eventually yellow but it took mine personally more than a month. I think it all depends how much time the case is in direct sunlight which will speed up the yelling more.
Just came here to report that the clear magsafe case for the iPhone 14 pro max is shit, try the flashlight at night with the clear case and you will know what I mean. And this did not happened with any of my previous clear cases on older iPhones
I have not had the case long enough for it to start to yellow (if it will). Cases usually take close to a year until they yellow, so I’m keeping a close eye on it and will update in the comments if it yellows over time! So far so good, no yellowing :)
I have only had the case between a month and two now so I have not had it long enough for it to show any yellowing (if it does at all). I has held up really well to scratches and if it ever begins to yellow I will give you an update!
@@khaloof.m1117 trust me bro, it’s science! Can’t deny it, I’ve had two spigen clear cases. And my Apple mag safe and the difference is huge! Thank you Niklas, I really appreciate the support❤️🤧
@@NathanLemoine and i appreciate good work from small channels 😄 and yours should definitely be bigger ❤️
The ringke magsafe fusion is better than both of these cases! 👍
Middle one is the Apple case
You’re a wizard Harry 😵💫
Yes the Apple MagSafe case is worth it.
Is that Dali speakers behind you ?? Good video - SUB!!!
The speakers on my desk are the Edifier R1280DB! And thank you, really appreciate the support🤗
Is there a good clear case without the mag safe symbol on the back?
this same spigen case is available without magsafe as well!
Saw the psigen pitch coming from a mile away. SPigen's edges are sharp and very irritating on the hand.
Nonsense. 😂
Thanks! Great video. Going with the Spigen for iphone 13 mini.
No problem, I really appreciate the kind words! It'll be a good case for your phone.
The Apple case does not turn yellow. Other clear cases do.
Useful video! But does any of them scratch steel sides of the phone? I've seen a video where man shows that his black iPhone 13 pro was scratched by Apple Clear Case
I don't regularly remove the cases from my iPhone so I don't have any scratches yet. I would assume that most cases will eventually scratch the stainless steel on these phones if you take off a case off enough times though.
I understand that the polycarbonate back of the Spigen Ultra Hybrid is anti yellowing but does the soft silicone sides of the Spigen Ultra Hybrid yellow over time?
I have not noticed any yellowing yet, I use it every day since this review and nothing yet, but I am keeping an eye on it and will pin a comment if I ever notice it!
@@NathanLemoine Hey man, does it get micro-scratches easily?
I’ve had multiple spigen clear cases and yes, they do turn yellow over time unfortunately😢
@@kajikkkk that's the issue with clear cases, they yellow over time even though big brands like spigen markets their product as antiyellowing
@@zong3000 I know, that’s why I now choose cases with colored edges and clear back, that way you cannot really see the yellowing on the sides and the back usually just stays clear as they use the hard plastic instead of soft one
Will the case break the phone if u put the case with a full screen protecter
May i know will iPhone 13 clear magsafe case fit iPhone 14 perfectly?
Unfortunately they will not. The iPhone 14 series phones have larger camera systems than the 13 series phones :(
I ended up getting the Spigen "like new" return.
I just bought the Apple one…at half price in a Black Friday deal on Amazon 😊
Glad to hear it! Love me some good deals on Amazon :)
Very protctive clearcase is… Otterbox symetryplus clear
Would not buy with cut-out on bottom…..purchased Otterbox.
good content
Thank you I appreciate it! :)
Hey 👋 is it show white animation on phone when we put phone in case ?
But spigen still yellowens right!?
someones said the magnet will come off, do you have this issue so far? Thanks
Nope, nothing even close to either of their magnets falling off or becoming loose!
So it does yellow, does that interfere with the magdafe technology?
No the yellowing does not effect the MagSafe. The "yellowing" is not a film that builds on top of the case, it's just the material itself, as dirt, dust, and sun light continually hit it, will tint the TPU.
@@NathanLemoine so then its just a visual thing right.
Spigen yellows very badly, mine lasted 6 months before becoming very unpleasant color wise.
I would say mine was right around the same time frame and then became very noticeably yellow.
Does anybody find the magsafe circle design at the back of their covers somewhat disappointing?
It just looks so awful to me.
great video bro -CURIOUS how are they with grease and fingerprints. I have OCD when it comes to that. lol “🙂
I would say they show "grease" more than fingerprints but at the same time they can be easily cleaned and wiped off. These aren't materials that are difficult to wash off so it shouldn't be that much maintenance to maintain!
@@NathanLemoine thx man
Is the magnetic strength the same for both?
Yes, very similar. I couldn’t tell if one was stronger than the other! They both hold my magsafe wallet perfectly fine!
Thoughts on the mous clear case?
I honestly have not gotten a chance to use the Mous case so I do not know if it is worth the price or not sorry!
What do u mean it might effect screen protecters
Do you know any clear case that does not get yellow overtime?
Honestly the only case I’ve had success with not yellowing has been Apple’s case. I’d assume it’s because it’s a much more sturdy plastic and not as flexible as most clear cases so that could be why. I know it’s more expensive but I’ve had mine for almost 10 months now and it hasn’t started yellowing yet
rhinoshield clear case it's hard plastic like apple and cover the buttom
Can I ask what car charger is that you have please
The car mount is the 'Otter Box Car Dash & Windshield Mount for MagSafe'. I see you've looked at the Vicseed car mount video, and I personally think that one is better than the otter box for a similar price! Hope this helps :)
LOL! all these protectors really protect very little; I remember the iPhone 4 Otterbox or Life proof water resistant cover that have METAL CLAMPS! LOL! to close it as tight as possible, it weighted about a pound, LOL! it was ridiculously big!!!
Spigen case MagSafe peels off
Yeah spigen cases are yellow as hell. I ordered some random case and its almost white after few months but spigen is completely yellow after a month
Yah mine did eventually yellow but it took mine personally more than a month. I think it all depends how much time the case is in direct sunlight which will speed up the yelling more.
@@NathanLemoine i never put mine on sunlighy actually and it didnt make any difference
Which case do celebrities use, leather or silicone or clear case ?
What a ridiculous thing to ask
My apple clear case is covered in oil. It won’t stop slipping
Did it come covered in oil or did you get oil on it??
affect*
I stopped rocking a case ever since I got free AppleCare from BestBuy. If you have AppleCare, why get a case?
Because an air bubble is a technology!?!?
Just came here to report that the clear magsafe case for the iPhone 14 pro max is shit, try the flashlight at night with the clear case and you will know what I mean.
And this did not happened with any of my previous clear cases on older iPhones
That's definitely unfortunate and frustrating. I don't have the 14 so I won't be able to see that for myself
Did the apple case yellow
It has not yet and I have had it now for 10 months, so still going strong!
U forgot to mention about spigen cases turn yellow over time or not
I have not had the case long enough for it to start to yellow (if it will). Cases usually take close to a year until they yellow, so I’m keeping a close eye on it and will update in the comments if it yellows over time! So far so good, no yellowing :)
Where did you get your car mount?
I got it from Best Buy and its by OtterBox. The specific one I have was around $50. Best Buy has a bunch of great car mount options there :)
Only Ringke cases !
Got the apple clearcase for my new iphone and regret it:(
What part of it don't you like?
The Open slot bottle is the #1 reason ive never bought an Apple case
Why is apple charge so much for there products
Sadly, because they can and people will still buy them :(
Because quality comes at a price? You wouldn’t know unless You see one yourself in person
Does the spigen clear case yellow faster than apples clear case?
I have only had the case between a month and two now so I have not had it long enough for it to show any yellowing (if it does at all). I has held up really well to scratches and if it ever begins to yellow I will give you an update!
@@NathanLemoine any yellowing so far?
Yes the spigen yellows so fast! Very noticeable, and I always call BS on bad reviews, but the Apple hasn’t yellowed on me at all!
@@killmonger4169 this review said that it still hasnt yellowed so im so confused some people says it dont and some say it does
@@khaloof.m1117 trust me bro, it’s science! Can’t deny it, I’ve had two spigen clear cases. And my Apple mag safe and the difference is huge! Especially when the light hits it, you can tell the anti yellowing on Apple is guaranteed. Can’t beat science. Especially if you put your phone in your pocket or in your cup holders in truck or just on your sink, the spigen will pickup yellowing from all these and direct sunlight. But the Apple MagSafe is PERFECT CRYSTAL CLEAR
If you would’ve dropped the phone more it would I’ve proved to me you the reviewer actually trusts the product and you made it seem bad so I don’t believe it’ll protect me phone the I want to but hey again you get what you pay for cheap 20 dollar case
My spigen case is MAD YELLOW after less than a year. WASTE.
Does the MagSafe ring gonna scratch the back of the phone?
No they have smooth finished on them, no problems yet and I don’t think they ever will scratch it!
@@NathanLemoine smooth textures for both of them?
Yes both of them do!
If your iphone drops and the Apple case cracks and your phone doesn't, the Apple case did it's job right.
People be saying it be leaving scratches 🤔
I have now been using these clear cases on my iPhone for months and still no scratches on them. I also don't regularly remove my phone from the cases so maybe if you constantly do that it could end up scratching but not from my experience.
@@NathanLemoine thank u bro
@@NathanLemoine oh does these cleats cases turn yellow ?
@@ilovehuevosconjamon6967 no but they be crack in’
@@ilovehuevosconjamon6967 they definitely be cracking !!!!
the apple one just looks way better lol
I would have to agree it does look cleaner overall haha
@@NathanLemoine I hate clear cases with bubbles on the corners and crystal clear took me like 2 hours to find one on Amazon that didn’t have bubbles and was crystal clear
Don’t get the spigen after 3 months the sides will yellow get the Apple case
Dropped my phone with Spigen case on. Back phone cracked
That's super unfortunate. It must have landed exactly in a weak spot. Hopefully it's not too bad of a crack!
Apple cases cheap on ebay. No need to settle
If you can find one of there for cheaper and it be authentic then 100% go for it!
