I thought the same. I also liked that he uses the watches and doesn’t baby them cause at the end of the day that’s what they’re made for. Health to wear and enjoy for many more years ❤️
The love for Omega must run in the family. He's my 2nd cousin, and as an 18 year old just getting into watches, Omega is definitely the end goal. Love them to death.
man /***** ur above collection is awesome and so well thought out and motivational*** congrats and best wishes for omega and other quality forums used new and serviced items!!!!
Great story from a nice guy with a fantastic collection and a story to match. Love the heirloom tales and outcomes. Just super, and a wonderful video. Im new to C&C vids, but think I'll be watching many more of them. Im dying to ask this guy if he's since been back to that same store he did as a kid and bought some watches.
Loved to listen to him, seems like he is really passionate. That’s how a brand ambassador should be, not this people that were something different in private.
Very good video, absolutely agree with you. Since I’ve been keeping my grandpa ‘s Omega constellation, dad’s Omega seamaster. For myself I’m a proud owner of Speedmaster, this wonderful timepiece I had been considered for having one for 25 years.
That is my same philosophy - own a nice watch long enough that it becomes vintage. That way you've owned a nice watch for a long time, you have a nice vintage watch, and hopefully you have some great stories associated with each one.
I loved the video, and great to learn he is a fellow WUS member although I stick to the more affordable section of the forum :) Also love his appreciation of other brands other than Omega
I also have a 45.5mm PO 2500 with the orange numerals on a rubber strap. Now I want to buy another 42mm version with white numerals on a ss bracelet. Any ideas as to where I can buy a brand new one?
My first Swiss watch is a Omega Speedmaster Automatic as well. Mine came out the year I was born, 1995. Wearing it as I type this comment. Loved this video.
I am wearing the Omega 300 seamaster professional chronometer daily. Had it serviced last year for the first time since it was made in 1998. It just turned 20 years old this year!!!
I was realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly looking forward to hearing about the sword hand omegas divers but he didnt talk bout em sadly. Still a wonderful video !!!
Very nice video thank you. I am wearing my father's IBM Quarter-Century Club Oyster DateJust, that he left me after his passing. Engraved on the back with his 25 year date. In those days they would actually let you upgrade if you wanted to pay a little extra, out of pocket, so it has a Jubilee bracelet and the upgraded bezel. probably the only thing he ever spent money on for himself. it resides in my never sell pile. I came to your video because I just bought my first Omega and I'm waiting for it to arrive. I started small, so I found a nice Dynamic Geneve automatic Day Date. late 60s vintage. I'd be interested to know your thoughts on that watch considering your expertise. I feel like a little kid waiting for my cereal box top decoder ring to arrive. anyone old enough will get that. thanks again.
most men's wrist watches were 28 to 32/33mm in those era before WW2, largely for land forces/army / trench watches etc. .... hence 34mm original Air king size in 1940s were meant and deemed to be BIG and LEGIBLE enough for PILOTS
I asked a dealer if they could verify authenticity of a Seamaster and he said they don't authenticate anymore because the counterfeits have gotten so good!
golforfishing they say that because you're average ad salesman knows nothing about watches or the history of the brand. Your better off with someone who deals in second hand watches. They won't offer any money for it if it's a fake.
quokka mode, Your comments would actually make sense if you would use proper spelling, capitalization, and an occasional comma. To the original post: Any AD will have a watchmaker in the back who can authenticate the watch. It's a shame that a guy who worked the counter, and likely knew nothing about watches, was able to have such influence on you. Se la vie, I suppose.
I have inherited a 1954 hand wound 266 movement watch. 35mm size in solid gold and bracelet. Keeps perfect time. From my wife's grandfather on retirement from 30 years service with the Ford motor company. Will never sell.
I actually like My 34mm Rolex, I think it's the best size for a dress watch. I think the size of the watch does not mean quality, My Omega Chronometer is Huge compared to my Rolex but then again, it was designed to be a diver and have good visibility... To each his own.
Rory Skehel well actually in the books he wears a Rolex because the writer Ian Fleming also wore one but in the movies he wears whichever brand pays to be worn, even Seiko
Quite funny, I got more Omegas than this guy (and general the same models...) :-) (including a ss Seamaster that my father got from my grandfarther...when I was born 1963!)
the other hilarious thing about this guy is that when he was strapped for cash and had to sell a watch, he chose to keep the Rolex Submariner and sell the Planet Ocean that had so many memories for him. LOL! so embarrassing for Omega fans.
"Omega watch collector" but happy to include Rolex and Accutron in his memories , it's great to see someone not bound by fanaticism about one brand .
fuck rolex
I thought the same. I also liked that he uses the watches and doesn’t baby them cause at the end of the day that’s what they’re made for. Health to wear and enjoy for many more years ❤️

He’s my 2nd cousin too! Omg
Not snob at all. Nice, humble... Sensible approach to watches!! Although many on the table are not my cup of tea. Thanks 4 uploading.
Came here after watching the video of the 17 year old trust-fund watch collector -- how refreshing. A passionate, sentimental collector.
lol
He's into watches for all the right reasons. Great video!
Loved this one. I love the series in general but this gent is so real, so honest. Very cool.
I just bought my first high quality watch - a Omega Speedmaster automatic. I'm so happy with it!
one of the best videos and stories I've heard by far, congratulations and I also had the same feelings as a kid for omega.
I also started off with an Omega Seamaster digital quartz that my uncle bought me. Such a shame I no longer have it 😣
This right here is what watch collecting is about. Keep your fiscal values, this guy has sentimental value which is worth so much more
man /***** ur above collection is awesome and so well thought out and motivational*** congrats and best wishes for omega and other quality forums used new and serviced items!!!!
He’s a perfect 👌 gentleman & a truly passionate omega watch collector. Nice 👍 to see the diversity of collectors in these video series
Great video. Nick seems like a humble, down to earth guy. Fantastic collection!

Beautiful collection with an awesome story behind it :)
Awesome video and a great family story.
Thank you for sharing your story.
Never mentions the 2254.50. One of the coolest of his collection.
Loved to listen to him, seems like he is really passionate. That’s how a brand ambassador should be, not this people that were something different in private.

What a beautiful video this is. Thank you!
Nice guy. True fan. I have the 2500 Planet Ocean. Wear it every day.
I also have a 45.5mm PO 2500 with the orange numerals on a rubber strap. Now I want to buy another 42mm version with white numerals on a ss bracelet. Any ideas as to where I can buy a brand new one?
I associate my watches with my adventures too. My Speedmaster and Tag Heuer have been around the world with me four times.
loving these stories.
Great video! It also shows how great a Planet Ocean looks with a suit.
My first Swiss watch is a Omega Speedmaster Automatic as well. Mine came out the year I was born, 1995. Wearing it as I type this comment. Loved this video.
Nice collection man. The Omega 2531.80 was my first grail as well.
I am wearing the Omega 300 seamaster professional chronometer daily. Had it serviced last year for the first time since it was made in 1998. It just turned 20 years old this year!!!
Aww... had a whiskey too, and it brought a tear to my eye as Bill was a good man to you, and deep.
Great work, Nick!
great video...love the collection.
Very very interesting story that shows the passion of a true collector
Netter Kerl, schöner Zugang mit den Uhren. Weiterhin viel Spaß!
Wonderful, enjoyed watching
Awesome to see a moderator
I really enjoyed hearing about how he associates certain watches with life events.
Really nice! Thanks, guys!
Love the stories.
Fantastic, very humbling review.
Nice collection !
You took the right decision when you reclaimed the Planet Ocean! Now it's just a classic timepiece in 40 or 50+ years will be timeless timepiece!
Reference of the second one starting from left at 1:08?? thanks !
great stories + watches!
I have one omega watch it is atleast 90 years old but how can I get it's exact price and model
Can you please review some vintage Omega watch like Seamaster Cosmic/ Geneve? There is no review on vitage watches but there is many on the market.
I was realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllly looking forward to hearing about the sword hand omegas divers but he didnt talk bout em sadly. Still a wonderful video !!!
I love these stories, keep up the great work!
I enjoy this more than Hodinkees talking watches...
Great story

OMEGA watches are exciting!
Such a good video!
Nice stories.
Nice narration Zidane :) Ricky T.
Great story.
I see the SubC on the table. At the end of the day, this "Omega collector" couldn't resist the allure of the crown.
Touching journey

Omegas are great, now sip that whiskey!!!🥃✌🏽
Ur the man !
What a guy 🤙🏽🤙🏽
Love all the bracelets! No straps!
Nice watches 👍😊
I asked a dealer if they could verify authenticity of a Seamaster and he said they don't authenticate anymore because the counterfeits have gotten so good!
golforfishing there's no way that's true
Stephen Rose After that i never looked at watches again. That one statement put me off. It was a Birks so i didnt question the guy
golforfishing they say that because you're average ad salesman knows nothing about watches or the history of the brand. Your better off with someone who deals in second hand watches. They won't offer any money for it if it's a fake.
that dealer must be blind as fuck. i solled rolexes and omega's you can see it if you look good enough and know where to look
quokka mode, Your comments would actually make sense if you would use proper spelling, capitalization, and an occasional comma.

Cool...Very Cool
Sentimental guitar music is brutally cheesy
Nice guy and no show off like other watch collectors
agreed the planet ocean 2201.50 is the best of the ocean planet lines
I have inherited a 1954 hand wound 266 movement watch. 35mm size in solid gold and bracelet. Keeps perfect time.
From my wife's grandfather on retirement from 30 years service with the Ford motor company.
Will never sell.
You can still be James Bond hang on to your dreams.
cool vid
Nice, just a regular guy who likes watches. Watches, cars and girls - nothing wrong with that
Omega
Cool video and nice collection, but that's not an interview. :)
I actually like My 34mm Rolex, I think it's the best size for a dress watch. I think the size of the watch does not mean quality, My Omega Chronometer is Huge compared to my Rolex but then again, it was designed to be a diver and have good visibility... To each his own.
Best size for you, would look like a ladies watch on my wrists.
I have the fortune of owning an omega (just one but anyway it is an omega) and the best part is that I am only 15 years old ;)
Damn now I feel regret for selling my Very first Omega
Why does this guy look like Jenner from the end of Season 1 of The Walking Dead
James Bond's actual choice is a Rolex - Omega got in for commercial reasons. I like Omega though.
rolex was his choice for commercial reasons too
Rory Skehel well actually in the books he wears a Rolex because the writer Ian Fleming also wore one but in the movies he wears whichever brand pays to be worn, even Seiko
Watch Geek he wore the Rolex 6238 without payment from rolex
"Talking Watches" anyone?
DId I heard a Speedy for $800... :O
lovely story, but the watches all look similar.
Bunch of replica watches, as a profesional jewelry I can tell they are replicas but well made indeed nice video by the way!👍🏼
Quite funny, I got more Omegas than this guy (and general the same models...) :-)
(including a ss Seamaster that my father got from my grandfarther...when I was born 1963!)
Your Grandfather's Seamaster sounds like quite the timepiece!
seems like a cool guy but the music is stupid
the other hilarious thing about this guy is that when he was strapped for cash and had to sell a watch, he chose to keep the Rolex Submariner and sell the Planet Ocean that had so many memories for him. LOL! so embarrassing for Omega fans.
Jacob Palmer but he sold it to his friend, and still had like 6 other Omegas. And he bought it back...
Why not collect Rolex, AP or PP watches? Omegas are trash 🗑
🙄🙄🙄🙄 well you clearly know fuck all.
