As a new drummer/e-drummer, this has been the most helpful video I’ve seen on this topic. I’ve watched literally 100+ here on RUclips. Thank you so much!
Thanks for doing these. You're surely the number one reference when it comes to mastering the dark art of getting great sounds from e-drums. It's not easy - impossible for many, many people, actually -, and you somehow manage to overcome all the hurdles involved in the process. Toontrack should keep you on retainer.
My apologies, the comments replay isn't working, I'll have to see why. I did capture the comments on my other computer and appreciate all the questions and feedback. A couple points of clarity...this first session was focused a lot on drum module settings, however the remaining three sessions will be all focused on Superior Drummer 3. I wanted to get the drum module discussion out of the way as this greatly impacts what you "feed" into Superior Drummer 3. That said, there were some questions/comments related to the curve settings in the Roland TD-30. Specifically around the Loud 1 and Loud 2 settings. Someone commented that this "gates" out lower velocities completely. It doesn't gate them in the sense that you eliminate trigger hits, but it does force lower velocities to be interpreted at a higher level. This provides more consistency at the expense of a bit less dynamic range. However, you can still manipulate this later in Superior Drummer 3 using the E-drum or Drum tab velocity curves. An alternative method may be to set all settings in the drum module to a "Linear" curve setting, then setup any velocity curves on a per instrument and per articulation basis for more control in the Edrum Settings within Superior Drummer 3, covered in the latter portion of this video. That's another way to get the exact velocity response you want with an even more detailed level of control. I'll briefly cover this in the next session to clarify before we dive into the Superior Drummer 3 related content.
OMG this is sp helpful. Just started using SD3 with my kit and constantly had to adjust levels in SD3 to make everything sound even, but now it's all done in my kit. This is invaluable.

So glad i discovered you today! This video was such a treat to watch and broke down more complicated concepts into simple terms. You are a hero for giving this information away for free with these videos. this info is certified GOLD nuggets. Just finished going through the whole thing, invaluable tips and tricks. You were able to simplify the pad settings in such an easy to understand way. Your setup and camera angle is absolute professional quality as well. Definitely gonna use a lot of what I learned here and apply these concepts to my Roland TD-11. I am learning how to record with multi channels through Superior Drummer 3 on Ableton on my Mac, and each day slowly starting to understand how they function more and more. What seemed super challenging and complicated has been simplified for me and its all thanks to this video. Thank you!
Thank you, I really appreciate it! I had an outline of what I wanted to cover but that was it. I prefer only an outline because it's a bit more natural for me and just a conversation about the content instead of a strict script to follow.
Great job on your live stream Luke.I like that you started with a triggering knowledge class to get started.Without a fundamental understanding of how triggering works and affects the rest of the process people can get overwhelmed pretty quick and not have their excitement turn into aural/drumming/recording bliss.Looking forward to learning about SD3 with your next live streams.Keep up the great work.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the live streams and thank you for the compliments. I tried to organize these live stream sessions in a logical workflow that makes sense to me and hopefully translates to all of you as well, so I'm glad to hear it was helpful.
This was great! Thank you for doing this. Got my TD-25 hooked up and it is running a lot more smoothly since watching this while working through the setup. Goodbye pesky ghost notes!
You were my big inspiration in 2017 where i build my own e kit.. with SD3. One note for snare drum: positional sensing is the best, but if you want to eliminate any machine gunning, you need to dive into layers.. add 0 (endless) number of layers on the snare samples. And enable alternate samples for snare dum triggering. This will alternate between slightly different samples and the snare drum will sound SOOOO natural!
Excellent information and great insights of how to setup the module en Superior Drummer. I am using EZdrummer but now I gonna make the jump to Superior Drummer. So Toontrack give this man a bonus 😉👍🏻
Great video, this is the 1st I've seen that really demonstrates how the modules interact with virtual drum plug-ins. Definely going to check out the rest of your class.
Thanks for doing this SD3 video series Luke. There is so much valuable and much-needed info that many of us have been waiting for. Great job!! Hopefully Toontrack will see the value in having you continue this series after the first four.
This was really helping! Thanks a lot! I run my Roland through a TD30K and SD3 exactly as you do. Now I need 3 million dollars for the video and audio equip, lol!
Thanks a lot. Its for me the first time to see a all important settings in the drum-module. I use a TD-25 and I wonder about some respones from my toms and cymbals. Now after changing settings in my drum-module, everything is much much better. So you and toontrack are right, that first of all you have to adjust your trigger to the right function. I will enjoy your next videos. Greetings Holger
Good stuff! I have the same Jobeky drums & TD30 so this was very helpful. SD3 is next on my list. I've been playing for 45 years and have always been intimidated by MIDI. I just need to dive in! Thanks for the great content.
Fantastic job! By far, the most helpful content on edrums. One thing I'd note is that turning local control off isn't always a good idea. For instance, I set up a kit to trigger SD3 that's parked next to front of house at my church and outputting every SD3 channel signal to the sound console directly through DANTE. I also have a redundant stereo pair going directly from the module to the front of house in case something goes haywire. If local control is off, you lose the redundancy.
Truly excellently done throughout! Really man, so good and seamlessly professional. You actually covered a lot of useful information in a short amount of time. This is a great resource you are providing and I'm looking forward to the rest of the series. I've watched this as a replay, so thank you for keeping it available. I started watching Session 1 before I realized Session 3 was live streaming, but I want to watch them in order. By next week I will have watched the other sessions and will be able to join the stream live. Thanks you for doing this. Peace
Fantastic video! Thanks for doing a spotlight on e-drums. I have a Jobeky kit that is a house kit in my studio in Nashville, and me not being a drummer, I’m always wanting to find ways to make it a great experience for everyone who comes in. I love your videos on tips and tricks making great sounds in Superior Drummer!
Glad you enjoyed it, thank you! I actually used to live in Nashville many years ago...absolutely loved it. Saw some great performances and got some amazing drum lessons with some top notch players.
Man ! What a useful session! I got here by a recommendation by Mike Luke & Justin (65drums) Live stream that Mike put up. I learned so much. I actually have all the gear necessary for this setup (one way or another) and also use SD3 for a little while , so this is really an eye opener! Tnx so much DrumAngle. This was so informative and answered a bunch of my questions, really exited to check this stuff out, also wanna check these fancy cymbals ! 🤓🥁
You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for the compliments on the presentation, I worked very hard to get it to the level of quality I was envisioning.
Thanks a lot for these detailed insights for all of us e-drummers using the great opportunities of superior drummer. I love that you are starting from the scratch! Can you please explain a bit more detailed your module settings for the hihat and the ride cymbal comming to a decent result for a smoth ballance and no fail triggers. Thanks a lot, looking forward to the other sessions! Greetings Kay
I've been using EZ Drummer and Superior Drummer 2.0 as sound sources for my e-kit almost since they came out. I think this may have convinced me to go ahead and upgrade, lol.
You won't regret it, Superior Drummer 3 is an unparalleled creative drum production tool. If you like Superior Drummer 2 (as I did when I discovered it in 2008) you'll LOVE Superior Drummer 3.
I can't believe I am watching this amazing content only right now. Thanks for sharing this!! I am a TD-20 owner and use SD3 as well, but a never tried to setup my module before playing in SD. Maybe that's the reason I always struggled to get decent sensitivity while playing. To get worst, my drum module display is damaged and I can't navigate through it. I wonder if a new and modern drum module could solve this issue.
I think someone asked about using two hi-hat controllers. SD3 can do this. What I did was add my second hi-hat like I would any other extra instrument. Then in the MIDI Mappings for the new hi-hat scroll all the way to the bottom and you will see a mapping for Pedal CC Control. Map it to a CC that is not being used. Once mapped you can go to the MIDI In dialog and fine tune the Hi-hat pedal for the second hi-hat. Most modules only have one input for a hi-hat controller so you will have to provide for another controller input somehow.
Hello Craig, that question was mine. The TD-50 has my main hi hat and is showing as CC 4. I can see that the foot pedal I have input into the TD-20 that I want to use as my aux hat is showing CC 11. But the cymbal pad I have plugged into the TD-20 hi hat input isn't responding when the pedal is open or closed. It's still the same sound (open hat). So is there also any adjustment that is needed within my second module or within SD3. I guess the pad input must be set to either VH11 or VH12, correct?
Great video! Thank you for all your effort in investing in your gear and making another helpful video. I just started with sd3 using a Roland td 10 kit to trigger. Working well except the HH no matter how I set it I can not get it to trigger correctly in sd3. So I’m still using the Roland sound for that which works but make recording editing a bit more difficult. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Looking forward to other videos.
Outstanding video. I've seen many of yours when you just started out. When I build my next home studio I am going to use your setup as inspiration! I know technology changes radically each year but I'm sure the gear you are using like the video switcher won't go out of style anytime soon. One quick question regarding your metal cymbals - do you like Jobeky's or Field's better? And with these cymbals do you find they chew up your drumsticks in the same manner as acoustic cymbals and you get fine "stick sawdust" all over your mesh heads? Cheers my friend!
Thank you, appreciate it! I spent a lot of time researching everything I've decided to purchase and am very happy with how the studio has turned out. Glad I can be an inspiration! As for the cymbals, I definitely prefer the Jobeky cymbals. They're not as heavy and have a very nice balance to them, not to mention they look fantastic. They're actual metallic cymbals, so they'll chew up your sticks just like real cymbals over time, but I've had no issues with that regarding my mesh heads at all. I also took off the rubber rims on my Jobeky e-drums so it looks exactly like an acoustic kit. So "stick sawdust" is inevitable, but that hasn't been an issue at all for me.
@@DrumangleOfficial Ok awesome thanks for getting back! I haven't had a chance to catch up on Jobeky but do their newer metallic cymbals have anti-rotation stoppers (in particular the hi hats) or are they subject to spinning around like normal cymbals and you have to keep re-centering the playing area?
I can honestly say for me, you're a God-Send. I have been struggling with EZDrummer1 and a Roland TD-20 to dial everything in for years. All the way through EZD2 and 3 and Superior Drummer 1, 2, and now 3. Finally it seems we have the tools to dial it in. Hardest thing was the VH-12 high hats, never did get those right, but now with SD3 I'm hopeful I can dial them in. I'm on vacation right now, but when I get home, I'm going to do a deep dive. So glad I stumbled across these videos. I can't thank you enough, I'm so appreciative. Keep 'em coming Bro'. I have so many questions, is it possible to communicate with you through email?
Thank you so much! I replied to your latest message first, catching up on a bunch of comments here. So glad you find my content helpful. As mentioned in my other comment reply, please message me directly on my DrumAngleOfficial Instagram account and we can discuss lessons.
Hi, fantastic drumming and drum skills !!!!, I had a lot fun watching this & super idea to Toontrack, this is exactly what we e-drummers using SP and MacBook need - a way we can get feedback to our questions, thank you 4 setting this up, this starts filling the gap. My question would be : could you maybe show the next session briefly how to achieve the "sit down and drum within a second" ? what I mean is : I got a similar setup as used, i.e. TD-12, Babyface Audio controller, MacBookAir. The problem for me is - when I put the Mac to PowerSaving, or switch power off when leaving the e-drum set and coming back the next day and open the McBook again, of course either the midi is not automatically re-connected again, or in Superior I have to close the app and restart it and select the preset again to correctly work. What I would love to have is a setup in which I open the MacBook, switch on TD-12 Power and I just can hit the e-drum and go playing, instead of first dealing 1-2 Minutes with reconnecting signals to SP3 and re-start the app. Maybe Luke has a perfect solution for the "sit down and drum" issue :-)) Thank you very much in advance.
Thank you for the compliments! Interesting question, I'll have to try this out. Honestly I always close down Superior Drummer 3 and shut off my drum module when I'm done playing. As soon as I turn my computer on and module on, then Superior Drummer 3, everything works with no need to reconfigure anything. I've never just left everything on and let my computer go to "sleep", so I may try that this week and see what happens. I'll let you know.
@DrumAngleOffical 11:05 You said you use SD live and that you would go through that setup in another session? I can't find where you've talked about this. I really want to try SD3 live!
This content is crazy good! I’m saving up to buy quality edrums and sd3 and couldn’t be more happy that all of my future questions are already answered! One question: is it possible to save triggering presets in the module? Too have one jazz presets with lots of sensitivity and one for loud rock with less dynamic? Keep up the magic work! Greetings from Sweden :)
Thank you for the compliments! You can save global module mapping presets in the E-Drums page. See the Module Mapping section and also 46:50 of this live stream. You can also save user presets for each library, where you can have completely custom triggering presets (set by using the Learn function), so you can set presets in several places within Superior Drummer 3 to accommodate different performance situations.
OMG this was SO GOOD. I found out about this thru the Toontrack forum. This series of videos is what I've been needing for years so thank you for doing this and helping us bridge the gap between physical and virtual! I've been taking lots of notes and look forward to the next ones! Curious to know, what in ear monitors do you use for streaming and for LIVE performance? Are they custom molds? Also, your pedal looks gorgeous - what model is that? Side note--> Seems like there is an SD3 bug at 1:03:14 and 1:04:43. You played Center and the "Center" sensor didn't light up green. I wonder if they are aware of that issue.
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!! So in this video I'm using Shure wired SE215's. These are single-driver in ear monitors and I don't have any ear molds. (I should get some, or some triple flange buds as they tend to stay in place better). I also have the gold Shure SE 535 triple-driver in-ears, but I'm not using them in these videos. As for my drum pedal, that's a DW 9000 single pedal I bought in 2012. It's the same one I used in my double strokes bass drum lesson on my channel. However, I since took it to a machine shop and had them machine lathe the footboard to make it completely smooth. I prefer this for less friction on the pedal. This isn't necessary but it is nice if you can find a place to have this done and trust them with a high quality pedal like this. I looked at the footage you mentioned and don't believe this is a bug in Superior Drummer 3. To me it just seems like the positional sensing interpretation of the drum module. The drum module is what's feeding Superior Drummer 3. Anyway, hope that answers the questions! Thanks again!
I’m using windows and I used asio4all as sound driver. Will I get better results with an apple device? Again thanks you and toontrack, this is so helpful for e drummers . Your playing is outstanding
Thank you so much for the compliments! As for using Windows, unfortunately I can't comment from any experience. I use all Apple products for my music related work and have used Macs since 2008 when I discovered Toontrack. I've always had a great experience and latency has never been a problem for me, whether performing in my studio or live with Toontrack products.
At about 1:21 min into the video, you mention you go usb out with the TD-12 to your Motu. Can you explain as my TD-12 doesn't have a usb port. Excellent video by the way. I have a TD-12 with a bad screen. Midi out into a Motu M-4, but still experiencing too much latency through my stereo monitors. If I download the Roland software for the TD-12into my PC, will the settings from the module appear on my PC screen? Thanks!
Very good infos here. Someone can say me what is the minimal Roland module that I should get that I can control the threshold like in that one? Or all of them have those settings?
Found this after you’d streamed the session. Thank you so much for doing it. Just a brilliant learning aid. I hope you are still answering questions- because I have one that I’ve not been able to answer. I use a newer model Roland TD27 - but I’m using it with a collection of Roland pads I’ve amassed over years. Do you know if I select Roland TD27 in SD3 whether or not it maps from the drum module or assumes that all the pads are from the TD27 kit? In other words, if most of my pads come from a TD30 kit, should I select that module for a more accurate representation? Hope that makes sense?
Would be nice with snare side stick and rimshot function/overview. I'm having trouble with side stick and rimshot, using Jobeky drums SD3 with Roland Td11 modul.
QUESTION! Hey Luke, if you did a show where you played with light wood sticks for some songs and then plexiglass glow sticks for others, would you simply adjust your playing style to be lighter when using the heavier sticks, or would you create an extra TD preset in your edrums settings with completely different global velocity curves to compensate for the heavier sticks? If so, would you just be lowering the ceiling on the curves diagram? This scenario wasn't covered in the video but I'm curious to know what the best approach might be...
If I were using different weights of sticks, you could certainly adjust your playing style and dynamics to accommodate the different stick weights and response between light sticks and heavier sticks since you're using the same velocity curve settings. An even more extreme example would be using normal sticks vs rods vs blast sticks. Each would require an adjustment from the player to facilitate the change in response as it relates to the e-drum settings. However, if it were me, I would create a different preset within Superior Drummer 3 so you can play as naturally as possible with that stick type. I would typically adjust the preset on a per library basis rather than change the global settings e-drum settings in Superior Drummer 3. The reason is even if you're always using sticks, each library and even each instrument within any library will have it's own unique response related to how you play. For example, in one library, your ghost note performance may result in exactly where you want those ghost notes levels to sit. However, in a different library, if you play the exact same way, the ghost notes may be softer or louder, simply because of the nuance of that drum, that room, how it was recorded, etc. You can adjust on the fly to play your ghost notes louder or softer, or you can adjust the preset and velocity curves for each library itself. Circling back to your original question, that applies for using different types of sticks too. I'd create a specific preset for a given library and for the type of stick I'm using. That is a bit more of a granular approach, but I think it results in a more natural translation of your playing when using Superior Drummer 3. I rarely use anything other than sticks, but it is fun to use rods for example along with a library that was recorded with rods. But I would absolutely create a preset just for that. It's up to you, at a higher level, you can create a global preset that can certainly accomplish the same thing. It depends on how much time you want to spend. This is a bit of a long answer but I hope it helps!
I am currently trying to troubleshoot articulation differences (open hi-hat way too loud vs. closed, articulation curve seems way louder than for closed tip arts.) - do you have a timestamp or can answer my question here? I basically want to adjust volume on a per-openness-level basis. Couldn't find it under the obvious sections, and I'm really struggling making it work for my kit... which sounds amazing otherwise (TD-17 in case anyone has more ideas).
Immediate reply because I'm a dum-dum: 1:18:00 onward for anyone who wants to do something along those lines, I basically paused right before you explained it. Goddamn it, and it was so obvious too. Amazing videos, clearly.
Hi, great video, thank you 👍 question regarding the hi hats. Once you edit the points of opening and close in SD3, does this save and overwrite the original TD30 preset within the module so that every time you use the module after edit, this will have your saved settings etc? Make sense??? I am using ATV 14 hats and am having some issues with the hats on my TD30, so hence the question about editing the parameters. Hope you can help, thanks man!!! 👍👍👍
I have a large drum kit using two Roland TD-27 modules. I have EZDRUMMER 3 and Superior Drummer 3 downloaded on my laptop with an external SSD from Toontracks. I use Jobeky triggers and Roland cymbals. Issue for me is that SD3 doesn’t seem to want to connect to my kit. Local is set “off” on modules, and module setting on SD3 is for TD-27. Still. Nothing! Please help.
When toontrack makes updates to the software do you need to adjust your settings on presets? Thanks so much this is pretty helpful. Your drums are probably best sounding kit in the internet no joke. Happy holidays
Thank you for the kind words! As for updates to Toontrack products, no, I don't have to adjust anything after an update. Your presets stay intact and I have presets from years ago that still work, even with the latest and greatest version of Superior Drummer 3.
@@DrumangleOfficial thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I’m sure you are aware that you are helping a lot of us by making this videos, thank you and thanks to toontrack for supporting this amazing series
How do I map for example the left crash with all it's articulation to an other cymbal. I just wanted to switch all attached midi notes to an cymbal in Sup3 i like. When I use the midi mapping I have to learn all articulation seperated. Is it possible to drag and drop from one cymbal to another? thx for the answer
Hi there nice video, Michael here. Do you need a dedicated sound interface when using Mac and E-drums. I've been wondering if i should switch to Mac. My setup is, TD-30k via midi out into a Presonus Audiobox 22vsl. My laptop, Intel 8250u 8 gigs of ram 250 gb ssd. I get quite low latency if read the figures in the GUI but maybe I haven't tweaked the TD-30 right. I don't get the same feel as using the Roland Td-30 onboard sounds. Can you recommend one or more decent sound interfaces. Hope you understand, i'm from Sweden. I've also haven't read the discussion, maybe the answer is there. I'm too lazy.

Glad to hear you found this helpful, thank you for the kind comments!
Good stuff! I have the same Jobeky drums & TD30 so this was very helpful. SD3 is next on my list. I've been playing for 45 years and have always been intimidated by MIDI. I just need to dive in! Thanks for the great content.
You're absolutely welcome, glad you liked it! Superior Drummer 3 is amazing, no doubt about it!
Many thanks!
Great session! It is really helping me setup my TD-50 with SD3.
Excellent, glad to hear it!
Great stuff! I hope Toontrack will give us more of these
Thank you, appreciate it!
We just got the Roland td50 for the studio in Scotland now we are going to get super drummer 3 makes life easy mate
Superior Drummer 3 is the best!
Absolutely fantastic. Can’t wait for the next one.
Appreciate it!
Thank you, appreciate the comments and I'm glad you found the info useful!
Perhaps you could produce a video that outlines the video & audio gear used in these tutorials and how the interface with each other.
Legendary stuff……want to see more…..love the content…..love Superior 3 obviously 😀
This is soo good! Played electronics Roland for 10y and not digging in to settings this way. Thanks man!
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed it!
This is the future of the drums
I just got the Roland TD-27 and SD3. This helped my set up immensely. Appreciate it.
This is really great info! Very well captured audio and video. It doesn't get better than that! Thanks a lot!
You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed it! And thank you for the compliments on the presentation, I worked very hard to get it to the level of quality I was envisioning.
Great Content so amazing helping people achieve great sounds.
Thanks for all the explanations man! Toontrack has right to support you
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Fantastic snare sensi
Great insights! Love it!
Fantastic tutorial, thank you.
Man thank you so much. You really cleared up a lot of problems I've been dealing with for quite awhile!
Glad it helped!
This is great stuff! Thanks a lot for this.!
Luke, this is a super informative stream and just what I was looking for. Thank you for taking the time to make it happen.
You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
This video is legendary
Great info - been struggling with false triggers from TD-50 to SD3. Will definitely be trying these recommendations. Thanks! :-)
Glad it was helpful!
Fantastik! Amazing video!! I'm waiting for the next week, I'm so excited!! We need mooooore!!!
Thank you!!!
Wow exelent master class please make more videos I lerning a lot with your videos thank you.
This is so Great!! The sounds are wow!! Beats any high end Module I have heard!!
Superior Drummer 3 and Toontrack libraries are unbeatable. Unbelievable flexibility and top notch sounds!
Great Live presentation.
Thank you!
Thank you, appreciate it! I'll see if I can fit in more about the hi-hat and ride settings in the last session if we have time.
you are an actual saint
Fantastic Job!!
Thanks!
I haven't had a chance to catch up on Jobeky but do their newer metallic cymbals have anti-rotation stoppers (in particular the hi hats) or are they subject to spinning around like normal cymbals and you have to keep re-centering the playing area?
thanks so much, this is definitely one of my favourite educational drum videos! :-D love it!!!
Outstanding content!!
Much appreciated!
Brilliant videos and thanks for this!!!
Great info to chew on here! Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
the video is amazing!! THANKS FOR THIS!
Thank you, appreciate it!
Brilliant really useful Luke thank you.
You're welcome, glad you liked it!
this is an amazing guide, thank you!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Maybe Luke has a perfect solution for the "sit down and drum" issue :-))
Thank you very much in advance.
Very interessant. What a Job !!!!!! Thank you, Thank you. Thank you
You're very welcome!
Thank u for explain your very nice🙏
@DrumAngleOffical 11:05 You said you use SD live and that you would go through that setup in another session? I can't find where you've talked about this. I really want to try SD3 live!
Thank you for this!
Glad it was helpful!
All sounds good
This content is crazy good!
I benefit greatly thank you luke
And I want the new td 27 with the VAD 506
You're very welcome, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks!
Thank you❤
What's the best feeling velocity curve for each category of instruments so like snare, toms, bassdrum, cymbals, hihat?
Log1 for snare, spline for bassfrum, linear for cymbals... and sometimes linear for toms, sometimes log or spline
I'm having trouble with side stick and rimshot, using Jobeky drums SD3 with Roland Td11 modul.
thank you
it helped me a lot!!!!
You're welcome!
Thanks 🙏
Great Video. Would you ever use SD3 live on stage with a laptop?
I do. Why would you not?
I didn’t see the TD27 module on the list of choices. Did they update SD3 for that module?
I have a large drum kit using two Roland TD-27 modules. I have EZDRUMMER 3 and Superior Drummer 3 downloaded on my laptop with an external SSD from Toontracks. I use Jobeky triggers and Roland cymbals.
Issue for me is that SD3 doesn’t seem to want to connect to my kit. Local is set “off” on modules, and module setting on SD3 is for TD-27. Still. Nothing! Please help.
are we able to get some artists tone drums to import into superior drummer 3?
When toontrack makes updates to the software do you need to adjust your settings on presets? Thanks so much this is pretty helpful. Your drums are probably best sounding kit in the internet no joke. Happy holidays
Thank you for the kind words! As for updates to Toontrack products, no, I don't have to adjust anything after an update. Your presets stay intact and I have presets from years ago that still work, even with the latest and greatest version of Superior Drummer 3.
@@DrumangleOfficial thanks so much for taking the time to answer my questions. I’m sure you are aware that you are helping a lot of us by making this videos, thank you and thanks to toontrack for supporting this amazing series
perfect!
regarding 44:10... I have the eDrumin 10 which is not in the menu... does anyone know which module settings should I use?
