Jezus mate, I wasn't ready for those paradiddles, holy shit that's sick. So you mentioned pedal settings suitable for the rebound, is it more difficult to perform interesting kick rythms? For instance something like the main riff in Fear Factory - Slave Labor? I can image it's possible with a nice combination of doubles and singles but insanely tricky to keep tight.
I am so glad I looked, this is awesome! Your double strokes are absolute BUTTER 🧈
this seems like a reverse heel toe technique. This is wild I really gotta try this. Thanks for the Vid!
Best drummer! Love this tutorial
Thanks Rob. Love this.
Wow, never seen that technique before! Cool. I use the heel-toe version myself.

Yeah it makes it a bit harder play mid tempo stuff and patterns, but I just make sure I practise them more )
This is great. Thanks Robin
I was wondering how you were getting so fast so efficiently! Awesome stuff, dude!
So awesome!
This is AWESOME! Is your second stroke an upstroke (pressing in with your toes and heel goes up)?
LOVE IT
Tight head helps alot...big bounce
Correct! Although these days I have it tuned much lower, so it still sounds like a bass drum
Thx !!!!
can you still do it with shoes.? coz using sock they slide easily. unique technique though
dunno. ive never played in shoes.
John Bonham did the slide technique with shoes on
@@DJGrizz420 and look where he is now!!
Funny, I always thought putting the vdl all the way up was supposed to have higher sensitivity ...
