as a Pole I was always interested in Greenpoint. Good to see many polish names like 'Karczma' (pronounced- karchma) or 'Biedronka'(translated- ladybug) which is a popular discount store in Poland. I hope to visit NYC one day and check Greenpoint myself.
Very informative...Tom is a great addition to your team...knows his stuff.!!!thanks AK !!!I was waiting for this one esp . Manhattan ave,...I used to work and shop there all the time..
We love all your videos @actionkid! @tomdnyc keep the videos coming we love and look forward to the ones on your channel and the ones you do with other you tubers!
Dzienkuje Pan Thomas,Actionkid-next time im in NYC-i need to go visit Greenpoint as im Polish ! I recognize that i would be home in this area, too bad only one Subway line, though. Thanks for the tour !
21:51 --- the audio quality from this camera is amazing helped by the utterly quiet surroundings in the park and Tom's public speaking skills. Outstanding production, as good as Broadway.
I’ve lived in Clinton Hill now two years, and cause of your videos and also the ones with @tomdnyc I go to the places you recommend when I exercise/bike. I really appreciate the info! Just a few days ago I did the Chinatown cheap food tour you did with Here Be Barr. The food was good. You guys should do a guided tour of maybe either Park Slope or Clinton Hill/Fort Greene that would be cool “Anyways” thanks!
Thanks for the tour it was awesome I used to live in Williamsburg on Bedford Avenue over Vinnie's Pizzeria when I was a kid and then moved around the corner to North 8th and Bedford my family was raised there for Generations. We used to bank at that bank and the name of the jewelry store where the Old Clock was in front of was called Bumble stains. Peter Pan was a staple for us kids. I was born in 67 and moved to Los Angeles with my family in 1980. Even knowing I was younger I still have so many memories of growing up there and still have so many friends on Facebook that still live in the surrounding area. It's nice to see that it hasn't gone down hill and one day I plan on visiting although it has changed a lot. When you cross the park macaron and get to North 12th to the turkeys nest my grandfather used to 10 bar there and my grandparents used to live at 117 Bedford Avenue an FYI at 118 Bedford Avenue used to be the gentlemen's club for the mob and Teddy's bar on North 8th and Berry is one of the oldest bars in Brooklyn I'm rambling cuz I'm going down memory. Thank you again
Many thanks for this video, ActionKid. GREAT tour of the neighborhood. Some years ago, dear friends gutted and restored a brownstone in Greenpoint. They turned one floor into a rental.
I'm 33 years old....About to be 34 in 2 weeks and I have been here in Green point All my life! It's Wonderful And is usually Not that quiet like in the video. I live on Eagle Street...One of the blocks in alphabetical order! I also have family in Williamsburg! Thanks for the Video though!💯🙏
I'm from Texas. N.Y. is a real interesting place to me. I haven't been there since I was 10. This was back in 2002. That long lol. A lot has changed since then.
Another fun fact about Frankels- rappers Despot and El-P (from Run The Jewels) are co-owners of Frankels. I believe my cousin (who thinks he's White) lives in Greenpoint.
I'm guessing Tom must have a photographic memory, it's absolutely incredible how much information he's able to store (and ultimately share) which I guess also helps with the stand-up and acting! Learning routines and lines etc.. Anyways, Loving your videos!!
Loved this walk through my old neighborhood. I grew up in the north end on Dupont, 4th in the ABC's. I was hoping you would say something about the Starbucks building is where the Chopin Theatre used to be. That is where I saw Jaws and Star Wars when it was first released. Oh, the memories...light the corners of my mind! Thank you for the walk
Someone called you out !!!!! It was me.... anyways.... Your worst habit... anyways.... LMAO.... One video of Toms he says that word about a dozen times... lol great video guys as always...
Thank you and Tom for an excellent adventure. One dumb question. Those little rectangle boxes on the curb with a "P" on them. Are they some type of parking meter? Do they take a credit card instead of coins? Thanks.
...Ash, Box, Clay, Dupont, Eagle, Freeman, Green, Huron, India, Java, Kent, Lincoln (now Greenpoint Ave,) Milton, Noble, Oak, not "P" street that I remember, the Quay...
This looks like a nice place to buy some property. Very peaceful looking, lots of shops and places to eat. Anyways 😂😂😂... Tom just spills out so much information it’s actually pretty amazing. I’m curious though what 8 questions out of 150 did he not know ???
I love almost ALL your videos but I especially love the 1s with you & Tom Delgato because he seems to be such a knowledgeable source about the historical aspect of the various areas you travel. I'm curious to know as to how he managed to aquire so much information. In the future If possible I'd really like to see the infamous Sparks Steak House where Paul Castallano was whacked by Gotti & his Crew as well as the various other Mafia Controlled areas of the city anywhere they might be. I'd also like to see my old house at 2034 West 7th Street Graves End Brooklyn roughly 2 or 3 stops prior to the Stillwell Ave Station in Cony Island & even most especially Id really like to see what's become of The Avenue U Station both the Station house itself as well as the Station Tracks & Platforms. The poles on the both Platforms there used to be Blue & the Walls also kinda had a rusty rundown tarnish look to them but other that it was a great place to have spent the 1st 5 years of my life & I'm 49 now!!! If you ever decide to cover those exclusive Mafia Locations with Delgato it'd be Most Appreciated. The last video I watched that you did which was more recent than this 1 because you walked the upper west side I thought I'd like because there 0 talking & occasionally I guess that's kinda cool but believe it or not because you aren't Political in Nature Like Every Single Solitary TV News Network out there in the world today I actually find it more interesting if & when you Narrate yourself!!! Your live streams are always great even if tune in a bit late or after they've started.
I think it is cool that Tom "emigrated" from Florida to NYC and has become an expert on NYC history. He obviously loves NYC as much as ActionKid.
I felt like I was on a paid, guided tour with all the historical info. Thanks guys....awsome!
Good walking companion - his enthusiasm is infectious.
I didn’t see him take one swig of that canned drink lol 🍹
Lovely day in New York 😊 Tom is a mine of information! I didn't notice that he says "anyways" too much until he said lots of ppl commented on it 😅
You and Tom are a great duo. Love the videos of you two!
Yea agree Love it
I just love it every time you feature Tom, you two make the best duo.
And Tom is beautiful!!
Anyways 😄 I enjoy watching Tom. His knowledge is outstanding 😍
Thank you for the tour and following Tom now for more awesome NYC content!
8:40 no pause to take in the mural/ painted facade. Interesting wooden beams on the corner building, across from the beautiful church.
as a Pole I was always interested in Greenpoint. Good to see many polish names like 'Karczma' (pronounced- karchma) or 'Biedronka'(translated- ladybug) which is a popular discount store in Poland. I hope to visit NYC one day and check Greenpoint myself.
Jak tam Nyc już zwiedzony?
Always a treat to see Tom on here. Extremely informative
Luv this interesting colourful historic area; a little underrated. Thanks for showing.
Tom is super cool. Can't wait until the Williamsburg video. Alot of hipsters and Hasidic Jews reside there. Keep it up ActionKid👍
Great as usual, and the tour guide Tom is quite great in this. Great and stunning quality, as usual! 👍
Collaboration of the century!😅
Excellent! Better than a paid tour. Thank you very much Action Kid & Tom D.
Very informative...Tom is a great addition to your team...knows his stuff.!!!thanks AK !!!I was waiting for this one esp . Manhattan ave,...I used to work and shop there all the time..

Green point is really a cool neighborhood
Very good information like it thanks.
I was yelling at the screen, telling Tom to stop calling Actionkid by his real name.
This looks like a nice place to buy some property. Very peaceful looking, lots of shops and places to eat. Anyways 😂😂😂... Tom just spills out so much information it’s actually pretty amazing. I’m curious though what 8 questions out of 150 did he not know ???

Preferred Tom's other Walking Tour of Greenpoint. This one was mostly limited to Manhattan Avenue :(
OMG...the 3 Decker is still in business...
Is the pool still open at McCarren Park?
Hope to move here in August
...it was called Greenpernt when I lived there...
