- Exploring Brooklyn, Greenpoint, Brooklyn's Northernmost Neighborhood, Walking Brooklyn, Brooklyn Walking Tour, Brooklyn Neighborhoods
In this video I explore the northernmost neighborhood in Brooklyn, Greenpoint. Greenpoint borders with Williamsburg and Long Island City in Queens. It is home to the largest Polish community in NYC. The neighborhood is pretty residential and pretty peaceful compared to other neighborhoods in NYC. The main avenue in Greenpoint is Manhattan Avenue which is full of restaurants, supermarkets and shops. Greenpoint also has a nice view of East River with Manhattan skyline. Hope you enjoy this video, stay tune for more.

There's nothing happening except the rent New York has been over New York's in the 70s and down that's when it was nice
Like every other town in city in the United States empty at certain times and no one in the street because you have no human interactions
Trenton from Frozen Taft
That was a nice view beautiful sun

HI Manny , great video.
Thank you Lina
Hey Manny ..
I heard Brooklyn had become upscale and you need a lot of money to make it there...true?...
Depends where
And depends what 'a lot of money' means. I would say if you're making anything less than $80K/year gross (as a single person) it's difficult to make it in most of Brooklyn -- and would for sure need a roommate. If trying to live on your own I'd say minimum of $115K gross annual salary or have a significant safety net -- as most 1br will run you at least $3K/mo. And keep in mind taxes are going to eat up about 35% of your gross salary in nyc. Plus it's not cheap to set up the lease because first month rent, security deposit, and many times a broker fee of 1-2 months rent (though I know there's been recent efforts to get rid of those).
Brooklyn is a very large borough though so you can find some deals if you are willing to be further east or south. I know a couple that have a 1br in Sunset Park that is only $1,900/mo, for example -- though the apt is in rough shape. And they had a cockroach problem shortly after moving in lol. My 2br in Greenpoint is $4K/mo and 1br's pretty much start at $3K+ in Greenpoint. Hope that helps.
Hi🎉❤
I wish i go back here where i used to live India St, Greenpoint Ave, Brooklyn
Thats Ash street. The streets are alphabetical Ash Box Clay Dupont ect.
what a beautiful place! thank for sharing
We have now been to New York twice and we still have to see so much. We need to explore Brooklyn much more. Melissa enjoyed running through Brooklyn. I don’t blame you going out too far on the peer. It’s -15 F today here in IL so we are hunkered down indoors. Stay warm Manny!
I heard its freezing over there, stay warm, nyc is so big, it will take you forever to see it all, I see something new everyday
Brooklyn is definitely getting more developed like Jersey City with all the buildings popping up.. great vibes, looks cold out there lol great views by the water.. felt the wind today, made it even colder...
It was really cold and windy by the water, that I had to turn back, the neighborhood reminded me a bit of the heights
That’s where I was hatched 😂😂😂
Nice walk , Manny cool homes and shops the temp is cold over there it's only -3 in K.C.MO. lol so I feel you bro take care always Boricua.
Thanks Edwin

Take care🫡💯
Awesome, you will love it there, thank you
@@MannyExploresVlog Right on! The last time I was in Brooklyn was in 1999, when I was in my early 20’s. It was more of a vacation for my parents and I was just tagging along. Sure, I had a wonderful time, but will be with a friend who is knowledgeable about the area like yourself. Hopefully the weather will be good! New subscriber here.
Thanks again Manny👍🏻
