The humble sausage roll (I mean the good ones here) are genuine cuisine. They are to England what the Croque Monsieur is to the French. A good sausage roll, bita HP or Ketchup and a hot cupa tea…can’t be beat.
I have lived in the UK for 35 years and still have some sort of an accent. This lady speaks French perfectly and a native and English the same, I am Amazed.
I'm definitely an anglophile and I'm always in disbelief when they fight me over their poxy food to which I invariably reply, here's a two-word sentence you won't find anywhere in the world: English Restaurant. I must say it seems to work; it dawns on them.
Before Brexit the French students were topping the ranking by number of international students, after Brexit they dropped at the 10th place or something. Relying on scholarship most people don't get isn't a criteria to consider something cheap. And London is a very expensive city. Eating in restaurants isn't feasible everyday and isn't a criteria to evaluate food in any given country. The average British person's diet is made of ultra processed food (50%), which food is expensive, and the UK has to import half its food. The standards are clearly not the same here. If only most people could dress in designer clothes. Conclusion : only the son is correct. He wants to study English so obviously moving to English speaking country is a good idea. But he could go to Ireland, Canada, Australia all the same.
Paris weather is no better than London weather. Only Parisians are delusional thinking it's better for some reason. I was arguing this with my Parisian husband when we first met, he didn't believe it and then we looked up at the statistical data of rainy and sunny days throughout the year for both cities. It turned out Paris had even more rainy days in a year.
Lol did the applications go down that much that they actually need to place ads now? As someone who studied there before Brexit... just wow. I don't have words.
(Just go study in Ireland instead. The English there is more phonetic, the people are friendlier, we are part of the EU and the Erasmus programme, and you won’t even have to change your money as we use the Euro. Voilà!)
Certainly funny, but it'd be great if you took the time to understand the actual costs and burdens related to Visa's and education. As much as I usually enjoy your videos, for Europeans having landed in the UK post Brexit this one feels border line insulting. PS: Also wonder how many French families can afford to take the Eurostar even if once a week at the Post-Brexit / post-Covid prices...
The cost of the Eurostar would be the same with or without Brexit. As far as the border goes, that's the EU for you. Best thing we ever did was leave the EUSSR.
@@eddyd8745 I have no issues with UK people not welcoming us, their country. Fact is, you've been successful at making it much worse for us to live here, so I'm just giving you your well deserved credit, instead of minimizing it as she did. On the Eurostar though, you are wrong. Brexit has made it much harder for the operator to handle passengers, reducing the number of trains (offer) and, as a result, increasing prices. If you used it, you would know it.
@@daniel-gr We do welcome you to work and study in the UK, with a visa. We have no problems with Europeans (we are European), we just do not want to be controlled by an EU elite. I'll take your word for it with regards to the Eurostar as I don't use it on a regular basis.
@@eddyd8745 EU student numbers have halved since Brexit, they are charged a range of £10K to £38K a year, the highest fees in the world. That’s the reality, no amount of rhetoric and sovereignty changes the facts.
english food is actually very yummy, but there's still an old cliché running in france...unless people go and see for themselves they'll believe the lie. french people can feel threatened that another country has things equally as good as theirs or even better
I'm English and I say that French food is 1000 times better. I have never seen an English restaurant abroad, there are plenty of French restaurants outside France...
When we say French food, we don’t only mean restaurant food or take away food. It also means affordable, already made food, that you could get from lovely bakeries at lunch break or already made dishes that you could get from supermarkets. I have lived in the UK for 10 years. I personally feel that British people are not respected by the people that produce food for supermarkets. The quality is poor very poor by the way even in Waitrose. It reflects their mentality ,capitalism first, then profit, profit, profit.
man this lady should be doing french/english tutorials. With her comedy I could learn french in no time!

Merci pour vos vidéos, très rafraîchissantes et positives, que je viens de découvrir aujourd'hui ! Meilleurs vœux et heureuse continuation à vous. ☺☺

I’m pretty sure, she’s half French half English.
The English lady might have been right... but that French lady made me *feel* things 😳

I mean... that's cause they're just called Pubs but they serve the british classics like Fish and Chips etc. and are all over the world
actually, if you compare total volume of precipitation, it rains more in Paris than London
Very underated chanel . You deserve 1M .
She speaks a really hard and difficult french to translate, brilliant.
Surely, you've pitched this to Study UK/The British Council? Yes? You definitely should. This is hillarious !
It’s tagged #AD because it’s an ad for Study UK 😂
*AND AS OF TODAY* we no longer have a fascist government 😀
Weve never had a fascist government go look the word up and the political description. The only fascists around these days are the antifa types
That's what the Germans thought too in 1932.🤣

They are annoyed by little kids but want their big kids close by!
Very talented

Try getting a French visa if you want a challenge.
It's easy to get one. I applied as an East African from London and it was super easy.
