Literally just taken delivery of the exact model and colour myself. I can see my road bike taking a bit of a back stage roll as I live in the centre of the New Forest and made the decision after one too many close encounters with the tourist holiday traffic. Had a couple of adventures in the Forest already….what a great bike! I’m 62 but I’ve been grinning like a teenager every time I’ve ridden it. Great video by the way 👍
Hi Clayton, totally agree loving the bike also it seems so capable, sounds like you live in an ideal spot to keep off the roads 😍 got a race on it next week so hopefully that goes well 🤞🏻 really appreciate the comment dude!! Enjoy the your adventures!!
Hi Mike, thanks for the comment really appreciate it, I explain all the modifications starting at minute 7:30 in the video 🤙🏻 all modifications were to make it more aggressive ready to race and lighter. Any other questions give me a shout 👍🏻
Just bought the same bike also but plumped for the trail with the suspension forks, loving it so far, i'm looking at switching out the bars also, the standard 440mm is too wide, so you'd recommend the prime bars?
Hi dude, Thanks for the comment, yeah if you’re looking for aero bars which have a a very good range of sizes 42-36cm I believe and very affordable. I found them on Evan’s cycle as wiggle isn’t alive anymore. Any other questions just give me a shout 🫡

Thanks for the videos of your new Canyon Grizl.
Would you mind letting us know, what you have modified and why.
Thank you
Mike

Cool clip. Thank you!
Can we get your sizing data? Height, frame size, stem/bar?
Hi mate,
Yeah course;
Height 182.5cm
Frame size M
Stem 110mm
Bars 380mm
Anything else give me a shout 👌🏻
@@cyclemunky thanks. Also thinking about turning the bike into an “off road road buke” heather than an “old mans tourer” 💪🏻
Yeah I had the same kind of idea think I’ll be using it as my winter bike also 🤘🏻luckily wasn’t too much damage from the crash at the weekend.
❤
Beautiful bike I could see a comment that the carbon frames of Canyon bikes have problems
I’ve had 3 canyons so far and not had any issues 🤞🏻
Looks smart pal. If I'm doing mostly road I put mine at 40 and mostly off road 35 and can feel the difference maybe bit fatter than you lol
Thanks chief!!! Yeah tyre pressure makes such a difference, not fatter just less slim 🤣
